His short haircut is neater, that's true, but somehow he's lost his characteristic face. His face now looks exactly like 90% of everyone else's. People like that surround you all day long and you don't pay any attention to them. And then there was this “Viking” that stuck in your memory... I dunno 🤷🏼

Another foreigner flew to the UK to get a haircut from Dan, this time it was a Swede, so cool! Dan himself revealed that he was all wearing tracksuits for the filming, so lovely! Curly hair is hard to cut well, but Dan conquered it with his technique! The final result is like a work of art, making him look more fashionable. You are so right I believe about it being hard to cut curly hair. Mine is wavy, borderline curly. Can't tell you how many hairdressers have said "you have such thick wavy hair; it's really fun to work with." And I always want to say, "then why does it look so terrible?" When I see the care this hairdresser takes (Dan) I understand that too many hairdressers just do a cursory job.

I am almost certain that barber has my accent! (Please, do not quote me, as I am terrible at identifying accents, especially when half-asleep!) If I am correct, then he is a Scouser (i.e: he is from Liverpool, NW England).

If the hairdresser's accent is from Liverpool, then the Beatles must have or have had the same accent. I've seen a lot of interviews, documentaries, etc. with/about the Beatles. I don't see much similarity in dialect or accent. Maybe it's too difficult for me as a German. But anyway, I find Barber's accent and himself very charming

I worked as a hairdresser for 45 years....at 80 yo, I still become mesmerized with the first clip of the shears....I love watchng you work and seeing the finished product....I'm just sorry I can't understand very much of what you are saying. I always try to learn something new, but honestly won't use it anymore, as I cut only my 3 brothers and one sil anymore. Thank you for your charming videos..

I’m a barber stylist for 39 yrs. This is the first time I’ve watched someone cut hair straight forward without all that nonsense fancy / useless holding the scissors every which way and bs products and over styling. I love the way you rationalise & talk yourself through the process, for years I worked as a caretaker, changing tap washers, fixing toilets, painting & decorating etc, I would always assess the job talking out loud to myself about how I would undertake the task, people say the first sign of madness is when you talk to yourself, not true sometimes its the only way to get a decent conversation, the real first sign of madness is when you answer yourself!.

Oh my goodness!!!!!! NICE and the COLOR...I think men are peacocks after sitting in Dan 's chair...the work I had to do to curl my hair and color it. I sometimes spent hours conditioning to keep the CURL.
