It’s very sad when someone is bullied to the point of not wanting to live anymore! Tristan much respect to you for bringing awareness to the situation.
I’ve been playing in adult leagues for over ten years now. They came at him super weird. They let people bring friends and new players all the time. If I was on the other team I would be stoked to play against someone like Tristan even if it made us lose. They should have just been appreciative for the publicity and politely asked him to sign a waiver.
The weirdest part was him playing with his belly button whilst he power tripped on T Jass. Reminded me of the guy at the car wash on Dodgeball... "Get in there nice and deep-like..."
nah you've only got a certain amount of time to bring new guys to a team. its usually 2 or 3 weeks. and you can't wear jewelery, gotta have a number on the back of the jersey Yada yada
I also love how he acts all hard and tough and then after being called on it he says the things he should have from the start. Like hey let’s go sign a waiver so you can wear a mic. Not come walk with me and you’re gonna be out in 3 seconds
Man RIP nate dude had so much to live for and ended up being pushed and bullied to the point of suicidal thoughts. I wish the best for him and his parents. RIP
@@cyclark7600 literally lol unless you’re famous. We’re at the point where even if u log off, everybody else around u is logged on so it affects your day to day
@@babypinhead7656 or better yet stop caring about what others say to you, people act so judgmental towards other people only to hide their own insecurities about themselves, fuck what these people think about you, only GOD can judge ME, not no one else 💯💯
@@cyclark7600 shut tf up. You got no respect like what’s wrong with you. Are you on something bc you are talking about somebody who was bullied to the point of suicide.
A1 - Great cause for this video, thanks for bringing awareness and kindness to all! B - dude Tristan, you were in the wrong since the beginning, showing that our generation needs to listen a bit more and have respect for the rules. From the beginning Dave said this was league play....people pay money for these leagues. They are 4 weeks into the season, you can’t just keep adding people, everyone knows that. He said he was going to ask the other team if it was ok (great decision). He also said no jewelry aka mic until you sign a waiver (another great and mature move). You were in the wrong since the beginning and I’m glad you put a quick message that Dave was actually pretty cool. Dave WAS cool and represented a grown adult who was in charge of this league, following the rules from the start, and that deserves respect from all. Ps. Great videos.
Not gonna lie i kinda liked the owner trying to make sure it was a fair game and they were alright with it, the amount of times i have played in leagues and all of a sudden in playoffs teams bring in a bunch of randos just to win the games it ruins it, especially if its a rec league. He couldve been nicer about it for sure but i wish our leagues cared about having randoms on
I'm late but FACTS my dude. The guy was super reasonable, polite but forceful enough to make his point. Even put in a good word for the other team to make them allow it. NO IDEA why Jass would make a scene when they ask him to remove his microphone either. Bit corny behaviour tbh.
I’ve realized that work T Jass has put into his videos are immaculate he understands his Fans/Supporters and ignores the hate im really inspired by him and hope to be like him someday I enjoy your content keep up the good work...‼
Dave thoroughly enjoys what little power he has. People like this make me sick. People like this are exactly what bullies are made of. The cameras forced him to not go full douche bag. If there was nothing keeping him accountable......he would have been a complete piece of shit, I promise you.
I noticed that Dave had on a tight shirt and had breasts. You cut the videos, my friend. If you don;t, I’m sure you have the final say on what gets posted…so…it’s hard not to comment, lol. you left the intro in where he looks like a douche bag, so I think it’s appropriate to observe that he seemed like a douche bag.
Dave was being wack. He told him to come with him or leave without even saying why until he threatened him and then said it was to sign waivers. Props to Tjass for keeping it cool.
Yall are just meat riders lol its the dudes league he asked him not to wear the mic and t jass got all butthurt about it and acted like dude kicked him out when really he just wanted the mic off.
I don't play basketball, never have, nor do I follow the sport. I LOVE watching Jass' videos because he is such a good dude, great entertainer and just fun to watch. Keep it up, dude!
RIP Nate and my deepest sympathy to Nate's parents. They now have to live with the loss of their son due to the consequences of bullying. Thank you to TJ for doing his bit to raise the awareness of heartless bullying. Well done to the 'Free Agents' for putting up a good game. I am British and know nothing about basketball but for what it's worth, they seemed decent team! Finally, what was with the attitude of Fluffy Button Dave? Dial back on the ego big fella 😉
@@yourbro1255 Hit the gym bro, and also do some boxing or martial arts. Not only will it allow you to defend yourself, but will give you mental strength and tranquility. Trust me bro
I appreciate him pumping up the dude that nailed the 3…but damn. “Be different” is a solid tag. But the stuff we see online is entitlement, pranks (being a jerk), or shock value. He hits so many insane shots, he hits the shock value enough to make up for the other two. Respect the establishment and get your bag. BE DIFFERENT
I play in adult hockey leagues and they're also pretty strict like this about letting other players randomly join and they do make us sign waivers at the beginning of the season too. But how that guy was explaining the situation was pretty bad
This guy running the league is one of the biggest jokes I’ve ever seen. Dudes who can’t hoop have to be so extra cause they never got a minute of playing time
@@PopOutPaulie yea I definitely see what you are saying. And I agree with that also, but the guy isn’t looking at the big picture here. He’s too busy trying to enforce his position instead of seeing it as a great possibility for some exposure of his gym, and help his brand. Instead he is put his line in the sand and being a bit of a tool about it. He needed to explain how it could work straight away instead of just saying no initially. I just felt his demeanour was negative from the get go.
@@danewoods4712 But if he's the same way with everyone. You gotta respect the consistency. Doesn't matter how many subscribers or views you have he not gonna change how he runs his gym. Shit I don't like it. But I gotta respect it
I’ve low key noticed that older guys who can’t play ball (like Dave) get SOO jealous and hateful towards T jass cuz he’s young and talented. It’s super sus. Hence “will you sign my tits” at the end. Like clearly he’s jealous af and trying to compensate by making sus jokes.
can't blame the owner. a lot of mens leagues are setup in a way in which after a few weeks you can't bring in new dudes. As far as the waiver thing, have to look at it from the owners point of view. He has to look out for himself and his business. It's like if tjass brought any guy onto his media team. He'll have to have protection for himself if things go south.
Agreed. RU-vidr was being such a douchebag and simply NOT LISTENING. Had that stupid Tucker Carlson expression on his face and the owner gave him EVERY opportunity to just SIGN A WAIVER and let him play. Title should really be "Owner Let Me Play Despite Me Embarrassing Myself and Acting Like a Crybaby."
It's not what you say, it's how you say it. Dude was being disrespectful and unprofessional. I guess he enjoys the little bit of power tripping he can.
I have been bullied as a kid for a long time. to anyone experiencing the same, hang in there! you are the one that decides your own life eventually and you choose who you want to have in your circles. Much love to you and keep on being you. you matter.
I love your content and all I have to say is, W Video! In the first part of the video its was amazing to see you gave back to the community and even offered to talk to the kids for the bullying awareness campaign. It shows that you care and that your content is more than just basketball. Also, I love how your respectful towards the gym manager as he was a little more strict than necessary at the beginning, but I'm glad you guys figured it out though in the end. Love from Canada:)
dude that is just super nice thing to do i would have done the same thing. i would never bully some one to the point if make them not want to live thanks for being there for support
I’ve never seen an adult league that tells another team that they need to leave cuz another team is playing?? And then the waiver situation he just demanded that he come with him without saying anything lolll
Tristian was the one being rude in the situation. He walked into the gym like he can do whatever he wants because he’s famous. Then Tristian just argued every time they simply told him the rules.
I couldn't agree more. I would love to play vs Tristan but at least have the courtesy to ask the enemy team if they are willing to lose the game to play vs Tristan. And no amateur league sports allows loose "jewelry"and/or attributes.
Y’all are tripping… They guys running the league are taking this shit way too seriously. Like some bureaucracy level shit. It may be his league but he needs to lighten up especially when someone famous comes to play because they’re just tryna spend time with fans and have fun. Y’all sound like Karens
Straight Facts right here, someone finally come to their senses! All the attitude Tristan was giving Dave was childish and immature, all Tristan was doing was making Dave's life harder
I've never played leagues or anything like that, but I can get where Dave is coming from and overall was being respectful about it. End of day, he has to run a business the right way that protects himself and his customers. Considering that someone invited you, that person should have already spoken with and cleared it with Dave prior to even asking you. So really, it's on them.
to all of you trying to say Dave was just ''doing his job'' as an owner and Tristan came off arrogant.. "You're a good youtuber but you don't know what a couple means. A couple means two.'' literally one of the first things Dave says. who was coming off as arrogant again?
@@jvaneck3938 it’s true a lot of Tjass’ followers are kids. Which is great because kids get older and soon they’ll be complaining about all the young kids. Lol it’s a cycle. “By the time a boy realizes his father was right, he already has a son who thinks he is wrong.” Let kids be kids because they’ll learn soon enough how the real world works. 😏
Dude , sign the waiver. It's his gym. Meaning he's liable if you get hurt. You should understand that. Seems like you just wanted to be confrontational because he was was hesitant to just let you show up and play in a league that had been going on for a month already. You gotta respect rules bro. If not hoop somewhere else. He literally gave you every opportunity.
100%... these young kids defending tjass for arguing with the owner have no clue whats involved in having and running a business. Bunch of groupie meat riders 🤣🤭. Tjass just expects to go to any gym he wants and be catered to... a bit egotistical.
It’s not that he’s asking him to sign a waiver. It’s his whole way of handling the situation with aggression rather just explaining what he needs. He was a right count.
I was fully prepared to take your side, especially since dude stood there digging in his bellybutton while on video. But you came off super entitled and arrogant. Seemed off compared to how you normally carry yourself.
I didn’t see anything arrogant, he was in control of his emotions and stayed in frame even though the guy came off with a passive aggressive attitude from the jump. Even humbled himself and shook his hand afterwards
the as well was out of line for trying to be tough about an environment meant for Basketball, if there’s waivers to sign and people that need to approve play cool. But that’s not where he started, he wanted problems and that’s disgusting, luckily Tristan is always level headed and composed, that guy wouldn’t have made it out with them diamond earrings trying the wrong one I tell you tha
Gotta go along to get along. The owner came at it all wrong obviously, but it's easy to navigate these situations if you set your ego aside. Let other people think they got the win. Life's a game.
Honestly though, Dave owns the gym and makes the rules. He's gotta think about worse case scenario to protect himself but he seems willing to compromise to make this game happen. It kinda felt like yall expected other gyms rules to apply everywhere. Now some gym owners are difficult cause they got small pp energy but Dave seems reasonable. Jus sayin

I agree with both of you , Dave should have just came at him a little more laid back. Not so stern. And just explained the waver and the other team agreeing right away. It was just presented wrong.
@@F8TVOfficial Are we watching the same video? They would have said the same things to anybody regardless of if it's Tristan or not. If yourself or I would have showed up trying to join the league- past deadline while wearing jewelry and being arrogant/argumentative they would have treated us the exact same. Although Dave can bend the rules and he was willing, it seemed like he was hesitant to do so due to Tristan's entitlement. It's like arguing with a bouncer at a club cause they won't allow you in while wearing a tank/flip-flops.
@@jvaneck3938 Dave himself said he was prodding at tristan because he knew who he was, so no. we wouldnt be met with the same resistance and blatant ego inflation that this guy wanted to have cause he knew some cameras were on and he also knows tristan is not somebody to get riled up. thats what i dislike so much. tristan had every right to walk out of there for how he approached him, just because its your gym doesn't mean you get to be a POS to someone. and then all the people there loved him, we all ball, the kids love him, and the guy he gave buckets to while his girl watched him lose and cheer on to no avail still wanted a picture at the end! so what gives, dave almost threw that away because he wanted to mess with tristan jass. glad tristan handled it the way he did, its the only reason the video happened.
The guy in charge of the gym is 100% right. It reminds me of the police officer giving someone a simple request and they don't comply. "Go easy on Dave" LOL Wow, you were wrong Tristan.
The guy in charge of the gym is 150% wrong lmao hes abusing his power when he could easily let him on as a one time occasion. just look at the way the man-child acts throughtout the video.
Lol wtf are you talking about. Tristan calmly communicated with this guy while he REPEATEDLY tried to punk him and make stipulations only to end uo just caving on his own points over and over and over...simply to be difficult and be an egomaniac. You are trippin hard.
Tristan bro... this is this dudes league. Those are typical rules in most leagues. He wasn't being a dick at all. Get out your feelings. Entitlement showing a bit. Fall back hommie
I get it’s his league but dude didn’t have to act like a db from the jump. It’s not about what he said it was about how he said it. From the start he was coming at T Jass. Yeah, it’s his league but doesn’t give you the right to act like that
Crazy how mad ppl get, you don’t really talk, your game does the talking, and that’s something I really respect. Ppl get mad cuz you cook them and don’t say a word and you leave while they’re still chirpibg
Dave did nothing wrong. He played everything by the book. Standard league rules. No necklaces. No adding players after 2-3 weeks. He did everyone a solid by asking the other team if it was ok for Tristan to play. He is a good organiser and fair.
This is a pure example of a man who lost all control in his life and is definitely making this a bigger deal than it is. Most Rec league organizers would of simply just been kind and happy and ask you to sign a waiver without all the noise and lessons. Instead he thinks he needs to be a gatekeeper, a person with power and to be an authority.
I love that T is finally breaking out his shell and beginning to talk that ish more. It’s a big part of basketball he was always the quiet type but real superstars gon talk that talk ifykyk🤧
I'm legit interested in this comment. What is the basketball culture for talk? I watch a lot of these videos (and others) because I enjoy the competition and creativity, but I never played basketball at a high level, and am curious what's expected (regarding trash talking, etc...) at this and higher levels. It seems (from many people's comments) that being quiet or polite isn't a "good thing" -- so I'm curious how people expect you to be. Thanks!
@@MorvoldPress to be honest it’s more about his energy. He’s bringing positive loud energy for him and his teammates. He’s also lettin everyone know that he’s good he’s that guy yk. He doesn’t trash talk so much cuz he’s just a positive person but he’s starting become more of a leader with the energy he’s bringing
@@MorvoldPress It’s really all a mindset. The best basketball players have an elite level of confidence on the floor and that shines through their game. Some examples would be if a guy says something like “Get this dude off me he can’t guard me😤” or like “Y’all better stop leaving me open, are y’all stupid🤧”. While it may seen unnecessary to say things like that the reason why elite players do it is because it fuels your confidence while also simultaneously getting in your opponent’s head. Basketball has a mental aspect to the game that not a lot of people talk about and you really wouldn’t be able to full understand unless you have been in that situation or seen it first hand. There’s a reason why NBA players flex after a dunk or might do a little celebration after a big shot. Now obviously in the NBA everything is recorded so it’s much harder to truly express how they feel because they know they can get fined. But in a public basketball setting like a park run or a LA fitness 5v5 type of deal it is basically an advantage if you are hooping well and letting others know too. There is nothing more satisfying in basketball then talking shit and then backing it up because no one can tell you nothing. You can talk as much shit as you want but it is especially good when you are playing good competition. Cause then once people start to catch on they will be like. “Damn you just gon let him talk to you like that, he is busting yo ass.” And then that player who is guarding you will start to get in their head and try harder but if you just keep making good plays it ruins their momentum. Hopefully that all made sense I typed it in one go lol.
Good cause to raise awareness on. I'll be honest though.. after he was cool enough to let the other team decide to let you play or not, I wouldn't have had an issue with removing the mic.
Lol good to finally see Tjass talking on the court and being more confident. Dude was always too shy and never spoke up. Dudes growing to be a real hooper 🔥
So you're telling me that if 2 NBA stars showed up to hoop on each team he'd run them out!? Man GTFOH,dude was straight weight pushing and egotistical. Glad you signed the waiver and played man. Mad respect for you showing up to support your fans in every situation.👊🏻
Dave didn’t do anything wrong. He has certain rules and did not budge on those rules because of a particular person in which I give much respect. Because some people (not saying Tristian himself) that have some kind of status thinks rules don’t apply to them.
