Reminds me of a time yrs ago when a Vermont Dunkin Donuts Manager set up a camera (pre 90's times) and caught 2 guys on the night shift jacking into the donut mixing vat. Someone informed the company who knew the "2 jerkoffs" and management caught them on video in the act. That word got around from workers in that same location who knew the inside story. I never have been to a dunkins in at least 30 years now.

Years, ago I walked into a sandwich shop in San Francisco. The guy, was wearing gloves. He goes, to scratch his head, and continue handling food. I turned, and walked out. I went to another place, I ordered a burrito. I forgot,to say no sour cream. The sour cream, must of been bad. Within 15 minutes, after I ate, I got the runs. And it progressed, to food poisoning, the next day.😢
My values exactly. That was the thinking that kept me going when I was in my 20s: "Put up with the sh#t job, but at least I'm working, learning, earning my own money, keeping my hopes going, building my future." And I was smart enough not to have kids, because my situation wasn't stable enough to support them.

Here is the thing people have a hard time being patient. They want everything right now n getting yourself together little by little is overwhelming. Let me explain what I mean. My first place I didn't even have a TV or any kind of real furniture. People gave me crap for that. Asked how can I live like that. Why would I spend all my money on rent for a empty place. I slowly bought used stuff then new stuff. Worked any overtime I could. Did this for years. It took years. In 2016 I bought my first new car. Brand new not just new to me. That is paid off now. I am doing good now. If I had dwelled on not having things I'd let others shaming me I would of never stayed the course to get where I am now. Honestly I wasn't thinking in 20 yrs I'm gonna be good. I just lived day by day n kept at it. I didn't let it overwhelm me n say I'm never gonna have anything working a crappy job. People think it's a waste of time to work n give all their money to bills. If both those people got a job for let's say $15 hr together that's $30 hr. They could live ok. That is a apartment n a used car.
