I just imagine how much guilt I would feel for taking my child on a bike ride near traffic. But no one knows or expects these things will happen. I hope the family is doing okay and able to be at peace with the whole situation.
He wasn't alone. The mom was there with them. She addresses the how, somewhat. She told him to slow down, he was yanking back and forth, fell with his bike onto road at the precise time sun was making it difficult for drivers to fully see ahead. People may say accident, but I really think there's just fate. Be as careful as you can. God bless them. Either way, it's just sad. 🙏💫💥

That is so sad. Bike riding next to traffic is always a huge risk. I have seen many incidents where cars go onto sidewalks. Once it took out the dog on the leash, of the 3 siblings that were walking it, and they never bothered to stop and help. They just kept going. Please, find somewhere else to walk, ride, or at least be facing what is coming toward you so, you stand a chance to protect self. Too much loss. Prayers for that family. 🙏💫❤💥
How the heck do you let a *SIX* year old ride a bike on his own??! Even adults can get hit if they're not careful! Such negligent parents, they should have rode with him to make sure he was safe! And emphasize riding on the sidewalk only!
