Danielle having no self esteem is one of the main issues with why things got so crazy. You can’t look for your self worth in another person. “I’m scared if I tell you the truth, you will leave.” Is never acceptable. You don’t do, or do things, to keep a person. And that is too much pressure to put on another person. Love yourself, be yourself, do things to make you happy. And then, once you have that self love, you can bring another person in.

@@Apaxetic I would also add that low self-esteem is a result, not a cause. Most people have very big problem with understanding their emotions and feelings, and why do they experience them. Being aware of them, validating them (but it doesn't equal enabling hurtful ones) and analysing them is a good way of learning yourself better (what how affects you; also it can lead to recognising e.g. your traumas, or hurt feelings, which many people have buried deep inside). When you are aware of your emotions and feelings, you can start working with them, and become more and more healthy emotionally. Also, it is important that in your relationships, especially with important people (e.g. parents, siblings, spouse) there is no grudge or vengeful feeling towards them. If there is, it is good to work on that with a good psychotherapist, with or without that person.

From what I remember, and this was a while ago that I saw this, But before they got married she assured him that she could take care of them while he got his work visa and looked for a job after he moved to the US. BUT, she didnt have the money to start the application for his work Visa and kept lying to him about the paperwork taking a long time, then the utilities started getting shut off and that is when he decided to leave because he found out she was lying to him about the finances.

I remember some of their season and I'm honestly on Mohammed's side. She totally misrepresented herself. He officially left after it turned out she was a bed wetter and they couldn't even have sex, all that was revealed after she harassed him for months.
