I guess you could take that Boeing part out to your nearest large airport and see if you can get an aircraft maintenance guy to have a look at it for you?
So much stuff! Can't look fast enough lol. Some gems but a lot of obsolete items. It's great when you have a good Estate sale company that has good pricing and will work with you. Overwhelming for sure!
I would have had fun looking through all of that! Also, I think Murano usually has a polished base. If the base isn't polished, it's usually made in China. At least, that's what I learned from Crazy Lamp Lady. =)
Yes! And none of the underside was polished. The only part that needs to be polished is the middle, where the pontil was cut off. And that was not polished. Nice, not necessarily Chinese, but not Murano.
That sale reminded me of all the tools and such my Dad had in his barn. I didn't know what half the stuff was and Dad didn't have the patience to show you what they did. He would always say quit nibbing. He however had a lot of manuals from the 40s through the 70s.
I know it's An Ant Sucking Pump to clean out your Ant Impailing Trap you showed a coupla video's ago 🤣🤣🤣 Definately a box of mystery thats gunna keep your spare time taken care of researching your box 👍🇦🇺🦘
That plate looks like mille Fiore Murano. I would not be too stuck on the smooth bottom. I purchased a glass elephant in Murano, in the actual workshop that doesn't have a smooth bottom. Enjoy.
I've been through a couple of dusty houses like this recently. One was filled with cool old TV equipment, likely from the early 50s. Really cool stuff to look at, but no real value anymore. But maybe I missed out on the opportunity to sell that stuff as decor. Like that thing you were holding early on. I really enjoy your demeanor and your attitude. You guys rock. I've been PT reselling for 2 years. I just bought a GoPro 10 and have been collecting content to join you soon on the Tube!
I would have had such a hard time focusing at a sale like that, there was so just so much! It looks like y’all did alright and there are resources to find out what all y’all picked up. Really nice job.🥰
That was the craziest sale you've ever taken me to I don't know whether I liked it or whether I didn't but I just pray that you look that stuff up and you made some good honey maybe we can see Kayla stuff later God bless you and stay safe
That was the most eclectic sale you have ever been to. I was guessing that the guy had been an electrical contractor but a communications contractor makes more sense. Great job, very interesting.
I like learning about interesting little things like this. Not many other resellers on RU-vid do this. I learned a lot from Osbornthrift with electronics, but he doesn't post on RU-vid anymore. Awesome video!
@Ingrid.Taylor I messaged him a while back, and he said that editing and making videos for RU-vid was very time-consuming, especially with a family. I know he's still on Instagram.
Hey, folks! Re the Boeing mystery part, and I don’t have any experience with this particular type of thing, but there are Facebook groups for the wildest things. I’d say if you found one for airplane parts (the Boeing reference) or engineering, they could at least point you to a better resource. I’ve gotten some crazy good info this way.
Wow, what a sale! It hurts to see someone else's supply for what might break in their future. Then leaving it before you can use it. At about 18:05 you found all the gauges in a box. Shout out to any and all Steam Punkers left. I had a collection of different gauges stolen years ago. Edit: At 20:40 The Brass speaker is a CB Radio external speaker, like a PA system. I was cool with that in my Pick'em Up truck with a whip antenna back in the '70s. Life is short folks, make the best with what you've got. Peace!
Audio oscillator could be a reverb unit. Pistons look like for a 390 or 427 big block. Roofers axes. Tape splicer for video tapes. Mallory battery. Boeing thing could be used for the on board Gyroscope. I would have bought the pistons.
That is, I think, a pressure-activated switch made by Meletron for Boeing. The "cellphone" may be a beeper. The sprayer is for plant food. The onyx is Mexican.
I visit most of the same thrift stores while visiting sister in Pawleys Island. What are some of the best yearly community sales do you attend.? Peaches to Beaches in GA was wonderful before Covid. It has been coming back slowly.
Hey, Justin you should've watched today's Made in America feature in David Muir's newscast. They were at the Igloo cooler factory...btw, you missed one when you first walked in😅
If this was the second day 😩 I can only imagine what was there on day 1. I wouldn't even like thinkin about it !!😳 Sorry. I was trying to wrap my head around all that stuff to evaluate its worth, but the hurry factor was in play with the other pickers pokin around too. Love the leg lamp!! Haha
Y’all and other RU-vidrs find the most awesome Estate Sales! Every one I go to here is run by a Company that jacks up the price on everything such that you can’t make $$.
By chance are you related to "Grimes Finds" Not only to you resemble him, you sound like him and use some of the same phrases as him(like that was my name in high school) By the way I love your videos.
A lot of great looking stuff amongst all that lot, Julian, loved the onyx plate, that video game controller.... do you know they control planes with those things now... have seen them in A320's :)
yes! And pls be sure to check your “obsolete” computer cables and old phones etc. U wld be shocked! I just sold a monitor we used with alarm system, same connection on cable, and it sold for 3-4x what we initially paid for it. My point in my rambling…. Old stuff sells….
Her Kayla I found something that I wanted to ask you about. I'd love to be able to get in touch with yall. I live in North Carolina and would gladly bring yall stuff from up here.
There were about 20 people behind going through them - and the guy running it told us to go through everything... and keep it out so people could see..
Weird ssle. I am getting to recognize some ot the things you will pck up. makes it interesting. Most of that is stuff an Electrician would want or know..
OK two problems with the sale one is you did not call me the second one is I would still be there the third problem is I haven't stopped yelling at you through the computer. Sorry if you heard me.
