I was down to 120lbs and almost died in my 20s, a fatal disease, recovery was a long painful one. Honestly most people don't know what real problems are, real problems are a terminal diagnosis. You find out who you are, you make peace with god and the universe, and any time from that point on is a bonus god blesses you with. This man had his business fail and get a deadly disease, and he is still here. That takes courage and strength. Most people have a car break down and get upset. That's such a small problem in the greater picture of life.
That was good bite-sized wisdom when he talked the 3Cs you can succumb to: Cancer competition complacency . As seems obligatory among commenters, I'm in the "culturally Catholic" denomination but always savor the wisdom. PS love that product pitch where you said "don't buy a jacket unless you need it." You might not get hired by a home shopping network as a pitchman, but you at least know how to make your audience chuckle!
