In my opinion, he’s a dancer and rapper that also happens to be an idol, unlike an idol who happens to be a dancer if that makes sense💀 definitely on another level

@@jerseygirl6221 I totally agree since he joined bighit originally as a dancer and then learnt to rap after joining while most idols usually join as singers/rappers then learn to dance after joining.

Absolutely true 👍 jimin and hobi are my fav dancers. We cannot compare and say who is better since both are the masters of their own styles 😌.This video hasn't even shown a single hope on the street video 😔

I have a question, since you are a dancer, could you please tell me which genre did jimin and jhope do when they danced youth with ryujin in their highlight reel?? I do not think it was hiphop

@@singularity7420 ooh I've just seen it and although you're right it's not entirely hip-hop, it's more of a fusion between contemporary and hip-hop, but what you see is more movements that are contemporary-like. I'm not a contemporary dancer but ik that many contemporary students learn that the floor is their first partner, and so you see their movements always draws them closer to the ground like when they reach down to the floor to kneel. Their arms like to swing in circular motions and likes to extend a lot too. Another way to tell is the unpredictability of their movements, they use a lot of contrasting rhythms, directions, and postures you never expect like gliding or jumping across the room, facing each other's backs when dancing and etc. Close to the end there is also a beat drop in the song when they both face the mirror instead of eachother and that's where the influence of hip-hop comes in, their movements become a bit jumpy and their footwork gets a bit more complex. But yeah it's more towards contemporary, they're very expressive.
