This relationship was doomed from the start, both were massively in the wrong with their actions. What angered me, was the FL's supposedly best friend who, in the end, gave the ML her new adress and info.If you watch your best friend go through such a tortures expirience and she FINALLY makes the cut and stays away...yeah, real friend there, smashing all her efforts and setting her up for more bad relationship to come, just because the ML is SOOOO depressed. Other than that the drama was well done, the script was solid and the leads were good looking, had chemistry and very talented. Hope to see much more of them in the future! 😎
The movie was sad, I cried a lot in some scenes of the movie, both actors are great. But I think the female lead made a mistake too, when a man doesn't love you, you can't force him, staying with someone who doesn't love you is a waste of time, why did you wait seven years of your life when he hates you.❤
The best part of this type of drama is seeing the cold and abusive ML getting tortured and regretting their past actions and then trying their best get back the person they've lost. Would have been better if the FL remained steadfast with her decision and actually happy living a life away from her past. I dont find this a sad drama cause short cdramas rarely do any justice or justification on why the cold and abusive ML should have a happy ending. This drama actually divulged the entire drama on just that and I liked it.
It's the second series I watched with them. ML finally found someone he's got chemistry with. This one is not so bad, in fact it's sad and I cried a little. The ending was rushed, I wonder why they do that. Why can't they give us a decent complete ending. Hopefully their next drama will be better
Interesting. Fl is actually quite the badass, but she's very weak when it comes to him. I cried seeing what she went through and when she finally decided to let it all go. She regreted that her selfishness cost someone their life, but like she said, if she had known, she wouldn't have asked him to sign. Also, why did the 2fl have to try and kill her when she was leaving the country? If she hadn't tried to get her killed, she would've been long gone. This always seems to happen in these dramas. I usually don't want fl to end up back with their exes, but i didn't mind this one. He chased after her when she left the country and went to Australia.
He is not that abusive and unlike other sadistic ml's verbal abuse he said only wish she could die because she is also wrong to make a deal while others life is at risk so he deserves a chance ❤
Well the beginning wasn't all that promising, I hated that the FL blackmailed the ML just to hold on to him, love in my belief is selfless and you can't tie up someone who doesn't want to be tied up especially not to you and that is what exactly happened with both the FL and the SFL, I found both selfish in their approach of love, one blackmailing the ML, the other killing every woman who shows an interest in the ML without even confirmation that he returned their love 🙄, stupidity personified 🤦. The ML was also a piece of Work, insultive, disrespectful and downright nasty towards the FL. Towards the end though I kinda felt sorry for the ML and I was really rooting for their relationship (FL and ML), I know it's not what everyone wants to hear but I felt like the ML learnt his lesson and wouldn't be caught dead repeating the same mistakes twice and for that I really wish the ML gets a second chance 🫣. Returning to an abusive partner is like a dog returning to it's vomit. It never ends well. Exes are exes because they'll never measure up to match you perfectly. Letting go Moving on is always the better bet.. Once trust respect affection and exclusive commitment is gone it's time to nail that coffin shut.
I did not like this script… however, the ML actually acted very well in this drama. Just find the script rather crappy.. blame the script writers and not the actors.
For those who read the comments before watching SPOILER ALERT So basically,fl forced ml to be with her(contractual relationship).They've been together for 7 years and fl was devoted and tried to make him love her.He was in love but didn't really realise it end wished for her to die becoz he thought that the death of his former ex was fl's fault.So fl tried to suicide fortunaly was rescued.But she pretended to be dead and then ml realised that he loved her and was grieving her.In the end all misunderstandings were solved(the former lover was killed by her twin sister who wanted ml)and i think they ended up together(the end was kind of rushe) It's a sad story and there wasn't sweet moments.😩😩
If you try to put yourself in the shoe of the ML, you would have probably done worse than him. He was like a puppet for 7 years, forced to sign a contract against his will just to save the love of his life. He had to follow whatever the FL says. He is actually the most pitiful character here. The FL was so wrong from the very start, but I like that when she realized her mistake she tried to correct her wrongdoing. However, she can never return back the time she took from the ML. Even if the FL treated him kindly for 7 years, they started out so wrong. You cannot blame the ML for mistreating her. He Jianqi's acting totally moved me. The FL looks like IU, very pretty. I think it's better if they don't end up together. It's just way too much for them. They should move on and find their own happiness and not regretting what they've lost.
Actually female lead is totally wrong...how can a person be so obsessed...love is beautiful there is nothing wrong to love someone but if he doesn't want you and you pursit him again and again it's narcissist... That's hypocrisy If you truly love someone then you respect his decision ❤
I really feel sad / bad for the 2nd lead actors who always love, care, support, understand to the female lead actors and in the end they are still same no love in return, empty hand.
So these movies are trying to tell us you can only love someone when they are dead It doesn’t hurt to be nice even though it was a force choice But ml made the decision to marry It’s not like there was a gun to his head So what made him all of a sudden love her now that he thought she died Or the options were different before
Only thing I did not like is forcing someone to love / forcing to get married etc. I believe there is no proper definition for love. Please don't force anyone. No matter what Love is beautiful experience cannot explain with / through words. It can only be felt, experienced etc Let the love come from within the heart.
Think I will skip this sad drama comments said there were no sweet moments in this drama with ML And FL. May not be abusive drama but it sounds emotional abusive and all characters are messed up So will let this go and find sweeter drama with sweet moments between ML and FL thanks commenters for steering me away fro This empty / Hollow feeling drama
@2.35 I looked at the comments ,, not promising, you can't force someone to marry you then expect them to be nice and love you when you held this relative to ransom. The main lead should not have ended up marrying her as it started out on the wrong foot to begin with. How do you form a bond or even begin to love a person, who has forced you to marry them? So this drama is not for me.
Where would mini cdrams be without endless misunderstandings, ML believing 2FL lies and people killing each other? Thankfully there are a few good side characters to interject some decent humanity. Flawed is ok, aren't we all? Evil is not ok.
