Kangen Water: "This sounds like a scam, but tell me more" Today we're interviewing Eddie Biggar: You can find his channel below, which will soon feature culinary videos: / @thebiggarplate2745
MooseKnuckle that isn't to keep the job, that's to have transport which isn't job specific. You aren't paying that to your employer for the job, it's a cost of doing business. Completely different.
Right.... when you are a 1099 and you pay to join a company, it isn’t a job, it’s a business opportunity and it is up to the individual to make sales and make money. I’m in solar and the company I am with is network marketing and I do really well for myself, why? Because I don’t treat it as a job but I treat it as a business
@@codyking4342 If you haven't been educated on scams it can easily happen to a lot of otherwise smart people is a better way of putting it. Wouldn't happen to me because I am highly aware of scams and what to look for and I am financially stable enough and content to avoid the emotional and psychological traps. But there is a me in an alternate universe who is desperate and ignorant and falling for this exact scam. Lol. It's just good to aknowledge that this guy did a dumb thing but it doesn't necessarily mean he is a dumb person. We need more and more people brave enough to say I did a dumb thing don't do what I did. If we just blast everybody who admits what they fell for, it will only be counter-productive.
Honestly, the worst part of pyramids/MLM is that they don't even really target people who are looking to get rich fast: They aim at people who are just looking to get out of poverty. I have only ever encountered MLMs and the like when I have been searching for work. The UK has this thing with the unemployment system is that you have to apply for all jobs 'for which you are qualified', so once, I was asked why I hadn't applied for a job which was supposedly selling cleaning products and I had to explain "I did apply, they phoned me to tell me how the 'system' worked, and it's more about enlisting others.' - They threatened to suspend my benefits over it, I had to write them an email (because I like written proof) asking if the UC system endorses committing fraud before they dropped it.
The UK seems like another di:ctatorship. Yet all g:overnm:ents on earth at this time are dic:tatorships disguised as demo:cracies, etc. Ce:nsorship, making us think we have a choise by offering option A or B when in reality both choices keep them in power, and when we try to choose option C, the true dic:tatorial system shows it's e:vil fa:ce. They control 99 percent of the so called ne:ws, the internet, the education systems, etc.
Hey Stephen. Ollie here! Going through a really bad break up, alone at my university in York, England away from my friends and family but been watching your videos at 4am for the last week has really and I mean really helped me get through it! Even your outro song is keeping my spirits up! I watch YT all the time but this is the first time I've genuinely wait and get excited for you to upload. So thank you for helping me through this dark time with your videos!
I know what you mean.. I look forward to his vids every week.. and the outro song gets me too for some reason.. I've helped expose many scammers over the years.. I did it as a kind of crusade for a while.. Because I really don't like deception or scammers.. Hey check out "Mysterious Universe" podcast.. it's something I also look forward to every week.. it's funny and bizzare and very addictive. Good for times alone and for driving in the car. Cheers
The biggest red flag is if you're being sold a lifestyle rather than a product. it's easy to spot - if your FB friend talks more about"the business" than the product or brand they are selling, that's when you know it's BS.
I was the only person to walk out of the cutco sales pitch. they wanted us to "Practice" selling using our family members and when I said to my elderly grandmother "You dont need to buy anything" The sleezebag walked up and shook his head as if he wanted me to make the sale. Of course he did. Get you in, get you to sell to your family, realize nobody buys knives from a person anymore, quit. All they care about are those sales to your family. They temporarily recruit you to guilt your family into buying knives.
@@hydrationangel2851from a company that professionally scams people. Don’t care how good the knives are. And that’s besides the point that they definitely aren’t better than other knives in their price range
Someone who sells this was trying to guilt me to leave my job at a coffee shop where I work part time and go to school. He said “why do you go to school? You don’t need that”... I have insurance, stock options, and a 401k with my part time coffee job, I’m good.
Same thing happened to me. I told them I wasn't interested because I was getting my degree. Then they started going on about how school is useless and I don't "really need it". I told him I do because I'm studying to be a doctor and you can't be that without being certified. She then went, "We don't really need doctors!" I didn't know how to respond.
Same thing happened to me! Both these girls in it were like gaslighting me about being in college and how I don't need it. Then later gaslight me again about not wanting to get into credit card debt. So yeah, the fact that the girl talking to me was 18 years old was insane.
Reminds me of a “job” I had working for a “consultant” company that was actually a sales company that sold Direct TV packages. I knew it was time to go once I noticed that even the high rollers and long time employees of the company all drive beat down vehicles. Then I made 3 sales and come pay day, my “boss” said I had 2 last minute install cancels which rendered my paycheck from $405 to $135. Why wait 7 days for your sales to be applied to to your check when your client has 7 days to cancel. The company keeps the non refundable deposit, but your sale is totally lost and no hourly pay as a safety net. I only made it 6 weeks (6 weeks too long). Sorry for this terrible comment, but I had to share because I love this channel and what it exposes.
This is exactly what I was in, I found out on my first phone call what the cost was, I was told the best way to make money with these machines was to buy a “trifecta” two machines and a Yukon, cost.... $10,000. “If you could turn $10,000 into a million, why would you even question this? Borrow the money, use credit, finance it, you are going to make it all back” was exactly what was said.
hello Ange, i just got off the phone with someone on this stuff and he is from my region and he sounded too nice, saw his ad on youtube but after the coaching call, i feel this is a scam...please tell me how this went with you, I will appreciate a reply..thanks alot
@@sahrah9372 This is a scam...they prey on vulnerable people by telling them that "anyone" can do this. What they don't tell people is that it will cost you thousands of dollars to make only a few hundred. Once you buy the machines, they make their money & they really don't care if you make it or not. I bought the machines which I am still paying for. It almost destroyed me financially & emotionally! Pam K
@@pamelakeeping1349 yes absolutely they are scammers.the people don't only lose their money they also lose their dignity and they become emotionally broken.
Thank you for sharing your story, hold no shame!!! Everyone gets scammed in their lifetime and they are valuable experiences we all need to go through to learn that very valuable lesson!
I've seen the same Facebook ad recently. They were only going to charge $139 for Facebook ad training, and all you had to do was provide prospects, and they would close the sales for you. In their email sequence they revealed to me that they were also selling a high ticket product. I asked what the high ticket product was, and they told me Kangen water. I thought to myself, I've heard of someone being scammed with that product. Thanks for the video. I have been scammed before with an MLM, and I will never let it happen again.
I know this person that started pushing this Kangen water crap and over time, it started evolving into something else. I'm not sure if it was the same company, but she started pushing other "water products" such as blue bottles and supplements, only later to take on this whole new "Water is life" persona. The persona seems to be obviously a way to lure in more people to buy into the scheme. So far, it seems like she's pulled in a few people. It's sad, entertaining, and strange to see it all unfold on my social media feed
How is that genius? If you don't answer her every question in the right tone within 30 minutes of asking and it doesn't come the exact day at the exact right time she will want to speak to the manager and cause a scene.
@@segatronmedia . . . here at KarenWaters(tm) our philosophy is that karens are just dehydrated sharons ... so, if you'll just pay us to let you sell them KarenWater(tm), the world will be a better place ... it's a win-win-win :-)
Thank you for talking about Robert Kyosaki! I knew it after reading the first few pages about "Rich Dad", basically describing a sociopath exploiting his staff but coming across as the hero of his community. Many entrepreneurs create a cult around them as the selfless problem-solvers of society. Especially those that are most selfish. He also said in interviews that he felt like an outsider as a kid and was shy, then loved the military and its abusive tone. He ridicules "poor taxpaying" people on a regular basis. So he basically takes out his former social awkwardness on others. No good teacher ever ridiculed and bullied his students.
This guy doesn't finish saying what he s saying fast enough like when you asked him how much machine costs he took ten years to answer it was driving me nuts
I'm glad he looped back around and is now pursuing what he is actually interested in, a lot of these schemes seem to feed on the uncertainty of ones desire to follow their passion, by trying to dangle the prospect of easily obtainable wealth I'm wondering if the channel will ever cover Alex Becker in a proper video, he seems to get mentioned here and there but we've not seen anything in depth on him, I think he deserves a good look as he has been following everyone around the internet for years with his endless ads.
Alex Becker got me really good back in I guess 2014 2015 or something like that. Before his ads were every where and he "taught" SEO. I actually thought he was a genuine guy. I didn't give him any money but he still tricked me.
@@chadkirk2977 I never gave him any money either, but I did end up ordering a booking about SEO because of him. I read about 1/5th of the book and realised I didn't want to do this as a career even with the vague promise of £5000 a month or whatever he says nowadays.
Someone in a college English class gave a "persuasive speech" about the merits of alkaline water, machine and all. I thought she had just drank a bit of alkaline new-age health kool aid, but it's a shame to learn she was probably wrapped up in an MLM to boot.
@@hydrationangel2851 you can't argue that the kangen water machine is the best water alkaliser on the market. Nearly 90% of its cost goes into commission - the product might not be a scam but there are other ways to get one without bankrupting yourself or spend most of your money on other people's commission...
Hey! I just wanna say, these videos are insanely therapeutic to me. I don't have a crazy scam/MLM story, I got pulled into Herbalive for like 6 weeks and lost like 50$, but these really help me feel less bad about getting duped. Keep up the good work :)
you gotta get a verve person on here! they really got kids right out of high school and college. i have a friend that was bragging about the mercedes he got from verve by meeting some level, but pretty much they just let him finance an expensive ass car at 30% apr lmao it got repo’d obviously
Hello guys, and anyone reading this. If anyone is interested there's this documentary called JUICE on RU-vid that goes over a different type of non traditional MLM that is quite interesting. The channel that hosts this documentary is also very interesting (Precision Independent Media). I've been binge watching him and Coffeezilla and these cults are super interesting. Highly suggest you check it out.
Really appreciate all these victim's testimony man, nowadays we hear about so much scam I kinda become numb to it but hearing victim's side of story really reminds me how important it is to be aware and warn people
Holy spitballs. I almost bought one of these a few years back. I think it was the upkeep and maintenance of it that kept me off it if I remember. So happy with this channel dude
Really courageous of a lot of these people speaking out in interviews like this. I think the reason why we don't hear more of them is because of embarrassment that others will think they were fools for falling into these schemes. Nobody joins a cult, scam or MLM with out being in a vulnerable position that does not allow proper reasoning skills to function. None of these people would fall for these things if their lives were going well and they needed a way to get out of a difficult spot.
@@SH-to8sh clearly things AREN'T going well, though, if they need to feel alive or escape reality, lol. If you're bored, your life isn't going well, you're missing something, usually a purpose
But if you tried Kangen water, you can taste the difference. Kangen is not a get money rich scheme. It’s more like the entire world doesn’t have clean water....(do your research) this machine changes the water making it drinkable. My friend had the machine, I drank the water first noticed the difference in my body after two weeks, she wasn’t a seller btw. Then I was interested, but I already was purchasing water at local water stores. So.... all this to say... if you don’t live in California and maybe some places in NY~ water anywhere else ughhh not good. The wealthiest states in America will always have the best. California then NY but again do your own research on water. I’ve been into water for 6 years now.
😂 Dr. HORTZ FILTZER IS A SUMMA CUM LAUDE HARVARD DOCTOR WHO IS A MEDICAL ADVISOR OF THE KANGEN COMPANY. ALSO, WORLDWIDE CLASS DOCTORS LIKE HIROMI SHINIA WHO INVENTED THE MODERN ENDONOSCOPY PUBLISHED BOOKS ABOUT HELPING PEOPLE AND KANGEN WATER IS MENTIONED TO BE RECOMMENDED.
You don’t have to sell the machines but I highly recommend you buy one. I’ve reversed years off my face and skin. Follow me @danielrtaggart for more info
I paid for my trifecta by improving my quality of life and by increasing my longevity. I’ll save thousands on medication and therapy 😅 im a type 1 diabetic, so, reducing my dependence on insulin is enormously beneficial to my wellbeing in all aspects
It's so sad these scammers really prey on ex military because they usually have a bit of money saved because it's hard to spend money when your on active duty.
A man used to come into my previous business & try to sell me something exactly like this, he'd tell me about his porsches & extravagant lifestyle. Yet, he always showed up in a Kia & asked me for left over cupcakes. I put him on the spot one day, & his answer "my porshe is in the shop & these cupcakes are for my church group".... Ya right, he never came back after that
My own parents were asked by a very close friend to attend a neutral webinar. My parents were sold after that listing every selling point as a fact and just being as gullible as you'd expect. After half an hour of me trying to explain (which included questioning why customers would take out the time to indulge in a webinar just for testimonials, and also asking them what the recommender could get out of this) did they stop pitching it. They still weren't convinced about it and kept listing benefits of it just as a "product". It scared me to have to educate my parents about how the world works. We got Covid in August and that same close friend came to give us supplies of Kangen water. I was almost furious at the "kindness". Few days later my mom went "I had that water today, didn't feel drained throughout the day". Educating someone who just wants to fall for this crap is really frustrating! Hoping this little experience helps someone in dealing with their own parents.
Sometimes we just have to leave people (family too) where we find them. The more you try to bring them the truth, the deeper they dig into the lies. It is done in religion every day. All you can do is kiss them and keep on going.
The highlight of every Coffeezilla video are the fake guru ads RU-vid tacks in front of them because the algorithm can't tell that the video is satire/critique.
I usually click on their links just to cost them money (I believe it's likely a pay-per-click ad). Sometimes, the longer you're on the site the more they have to pay. So I'll have their site open in another tab while I finish watching Coffee. And if there's an option to input my email to sign up for a 'free' webinar I'll enter some ridiculous made-up address like 'holdmypickle@hotmail.com' or 'footfetish100@yahoo.com'. It's just a small way to fuck with these scammer dickheads.
I second this! the dot com secret. I read the first book and that book is bullshit. The book explains how the fake guru works. I now understand why it has to be $997 now.
goes to show that we’re not immune to scams and propaganda just because we’re young and not “stupid” this guys just like us. its not just old people getting suckered anymore
Haha. I felt this @13:35. I thought I would be able to stay away from scams but these MLMs almost got me haha. Thank god for my girlfriend who talked some sense into me haha.
They deceived me in paying 147$, with the lies. After paying the money, I realized they wanted me to pay more money to buy a machine. Its deceptive to be honest.
YUP. I was part of this scam back in 2017 or something like that. You have to lose all of your morals and values to make any money - which I couldn't bring myself to do... Sad, but glad it's being talked about now!
IF you are being compensated as in paid by the company and can be fored from it. you are not a business owner you are an employee. All of these MLM's pretend you are going to be an entrepreneur when you are just a poorly compensated employee.
Bruh, seeing this surprises me. I dunno if my parents just prepared me for the world a bit too well, but even as a 14-year-old I could tell my friend Stacy's mom was in an MLM.
My sister-in-law was a victim of it, until now. She paid Cad$11,000 (you read it right, 11 thousand Cad$) for Enagic machine, filter and turmeric are included in the package. And now she's recruiting people to get the money back. So sad that everyday she needs to make video to attract people to join this 💩 MLM, but my wife and I, she can't convince us to join.
Coffee my brother have you realised with your convos in relation to this. These scams of MLM and/or Gurus or no cash down property etc and what not has somewhat correlation to personal life of an individual bring affected as they split from their other half? Wonder why? There must be some psychological conditions that happen (e.g. believing the scam so much that your other half just says screw this?)...
I just actuallt thought something like this. Like I was a magnet for these kind of stuff MLM, dream sellers, etc and in real life I also attract deceptive people, liars, etc. Had an intimate relationship with a cheater, a liar, and so on. I think there's some correlation yeah
Dude I made a video on this because it’s like the new “spiritual” thing especially for a lot of these women spiritual coaches / manifestation coaches, etc. in my video it literally shows how they ALL use the same language, profiles, etc. and are all connected through the Breakaway Movement???? So bizarre. I actually am very into spirituality / tarot / etc. so it kind of sucks that it got mixed up with this MLM.
This guy seems really cool. And it's great when people share things that they did that they regret. Then fewer people have to learn lessons the hard way.
Dude, those systems of "I will give you the Ad you just pay for it" been there since the mid 2000's. I was tricked by affiliate marketing, same story .. the only difference is it is online MLM... and I lived in New Zealand.
The problem with MLMs is that nobody is buying the product. All the people who are buying just want in on the scheme. The problem is it's just not sustainable.
LMAO this was such amazing timing. One of my co-workers bought this machine, and we have obviously heard various pitches for it throughout the duration of our time together. This is so absurd.
Wow Coffee the way you we’re smiling throughout the first part of this video was throwing me off. Like the polar opposite of the Caleb-19 vid. Rosy cheeks , coyly smiling and folding your fingers like Mr Burns, sipping your straw like a chick wearing lipstick and fluffing your hair hahaha.... someone’s got a crush. Well until 47:00 that is lol.
slightly confused when he said "when my subscription ran out i ghosted" but Enagic isn't a subscription company, you buy a machine and you are in. is he meaning he paid off the machine and then stopped?
Lol also the guy who tried to scamway me literally stands in grocery stores all day and harasses people to join. Like "nice shoes! Want your own business? I can help you!" LOL its soo bad
I also got in to Kangen machines, and never made a dime with it, but at least we like the K8 machine for our own use, but I could tell lot of stories about these Scams, I just would like that no more people would get scammed by this
So do I. I'm a happy customer. I've been using the machine for 1.5 years. I know that they use the MLM business model. I'm not interested at all. I just purchased the machine for my personal use
So wild. I used to follow this woman on Instagram for her photography but she joined a Kangen water MLM and started recruiting everyone on her page (myself included). They call themselves the “Break Away Movement” and proclaim to be this elite movement to break away from the 9-5. So, how do they make money? Selling Kangen water, of course. Anyway, before I unfollowed her, she posted about this tier system Eddie mentioned. I can’t post the screenshots here but they essentially promise people will make $80k PER MONTH in passive income for the rest of their lives AND for their children’s lives 🙄 And yes, she lives by the beach 🤣
The only passive income you can make is laying on your back... you fill in the rest. This scam is one of the worst. I am so glad you are out and your antennas are up!
Dude I feel your story man 😂 same thing happened to me bro haha bought the trifecta , I was targeted at a vulnerable time in my life and I wanted to believe it so bad 😆
Jamie Johnston , hey mate yeah the machines honestly I think the machines are great and I still use my k8 to this day , but they are way overpriced which makes them so hard to sell , I honestly worked so hard to know everything about them and to market them but as soon as you tell people the price they stray away and go searching for cheaper options , as soon as you google Kangen machines there is pages dedicated to making them look like a scam and most people would see these and then I would get abused for trying to scam them which was never my intention , honestly the chances of actually making a living of enagic kangen is slim to none my man, put it this way if you are to make your first sale on the k8 which is a 5500 dollar machine your only gonna receive 180 dollars rest of the money is going to your up line 🤔🤔🤦♂️ they will tell you it’s not a pyramid scheme but it’s exactly what it is, I neglected my family and friends for months cause I was so brainwashed and made to think I wasn’t trying hard enough in the end I ended up more depressed then before I started . Hope this helps man ✌️✌️✌️
I'm sorry to tell you that Alkyline water is 100% pure bullshit. What we eat and drink can not change the body's PH. PH of the human body is slightly acidic at 7.3-7.4, this PH is maintained by homeostasis, which is not adjustable externally. If the body were to go below a PH of 7.3 or above a PH of 7.4 you would cease to survive, our organs and bodily fluids can not perform above or below that level. The only thing that alkyline water can do for a person, aside from causing them monetary loss, is slightly neutralize stomach acid, much like an antacid, but it will not maintain that neutralization indefinitely because of homeostasis.
Kangen's machines produce ionized alkaline water that's high in antioxidants and so much more. We love our machine. My hubby bought it for my benefit initially, but he soon discovered that it shut down any heartburn/acid reflux quicker than anything. We ❤️ sharing water and our hearts haven't been like yours was. Evaluate your intentions, dude. Sorry you got introduced to it that way.
My friend is about to loose EVERYTHING to kangen water. Hes a single dad, good guy, but never was too bright. Heart of gold. Hes in too deep to pull out so he will drown. Sadness
You only buy what you want there is no pressure....btw the water they produce is amazing, this is all bullshit! Obviously people who have no real concept of true health and wellness.

58th minute: I just wanted to say that sometimes (for example in some companies in Italy) you pay to get a job. Obviously not regulated but anyway, this doesn't happen only in scams (and then, in many internships that's practically what you're doing)
A lot of us decide that people who fall for MLMs are automatically subhuman. It's a flaw that we have inherently, that we don't even think about often. However, it's something that we have to change about ourselves; to be more accepting of those of us unfortunate enough to fall into these traps.
I fully understand buying into becoming a seller. "Talk to 50 people per day and you will sell to 5 of them". It actually makes sense. Works for the scouts selling cookies. But it's inexcusable dumb to PAY to get a sales job. Why don't these people realize that if the company was legit the salesmen would get inventory for free and either sell it or return it. Or they'd go out and make the sales in advance before ordering inventory.
Yeah, who talks to 50 people a day. I live in NY City, this is a walking town and I don't talk to 50 people a day. And even if I did, of the 50 people, what happens when all of them tell you no, I don't want to buy your water machine before and after they find out the price? This is BS by the pound.
You should look into charities and which ones to do and which ones not too. I heard there are some bogus charities or big-named ones like Goodwill that don't use your money or donations for the right reasons and are basically paying their people or reselling the merchandise you donated, perhaps steeply.
