I learned years ago to leave the diamond/platinum finery at home and travel with inexpensive cubic zirconium earring studs and solitaire ring set in silver so that I could vacation without worry. The ease of mind is worth it.

Finally caught it on time. When my brother was traveling he would leave his real band at home in a safe and traveled with a ring that he wouldn't really care if he lost or dropped it somewhere.

Listen God is good. You flew to hawaii, the plane didn't crash, you were in the ocean numerous times even jumping off cliffs and you didn't drown. You jumped out of an airplane and did not die. You had loads of fun, including fine dining and a ton of love for each other. Now you are back home in your 5 or 6 bedroom house with a pool and let's not for get a beautiful dog. After looking back on the last 2 to 3 years look how far you hff ave come and how God has blessed. I know the ring is sentimental but many bad thing could have happened in Hawaii, on the way home ect. - if this is the worst thing that happened- no worries. Trust and believe the devil is mad because the two of you are super blessed and we all need to put sun shades on because your future is so bright. God will help you get another ring. You never know someone may find it and return it. God is good.

Yall are new to the marriage game and this an experience is a great teacher. First rule when getting married (concerning rings) is when buy the main ring go ahead and get the backup ring as well. Play ball in it, go fishing in it, hiking, atv's etc and definitely when you go on trips you never take your real wedding ring always a back up for situations like this so if/when you lose it or if it's stolen it's no big deal. I’ve legit lost my wedding ring twice! Hopefully it doesn’t happen again, but each time I felt terrible telling my wife knowing that if she lost her’s once I’d be devastated. It also felt like it was still there on my finger for weeks, which could’ve been why you never feel it come off 😔😅🤞🏾

You guys need to get those active wear silicone rings for vacays and when you do adventurous things. They can slide off so easily when you’re wet or sweating not to mention you guys lost weight so your fingers could be a tad slimmer. The trip was epic tho!! ❤️

I Lost my wedding rings over 5 times over the course of 15 years of marriage so I just bought a pack of rubber ones from Amazon and placed them in all our cars. The cool thing about is they are different colors so I can match my outfits...LOL...

I know how that feels. It sucks! And at least y’all had insurance on your ring. My husband had to go buy another one.

Oh no!!!! This is exactly why I bought my husband a silicone ring. He cannot wear his wedding band if we are doing any activities!

What I do is I have an extra Tungsten type wedding band $50 to put on when I go on vacation and I have lost before but it’s a lot easier to replace a $50 band than ur actual wedding band that’s worth a used car. I think I’ve mentioned it before on the comments. Just a little tip for all the husbands out there.
