BTS together and as separate entities are ridiculously versatile. Thinking about all their different styles and the quality of music they are continuously putting out while they serve. This is a great and needed chapter but they’ve staged it so that we’re never really left for too long without their music and presence. Awesome artists!
His music is like a soft blanket. It is comforting not matter what emotions you are going through. His voice is like a pillow caressing and soothing your memories,thoughts and mind. I really enjoy true artistry and the sacrifice and bravery that comes with it! So bold! BTS as a group and as solo artists are ridiculously talented. I have thoroughly enjoyed all the solo work so far but have been waiting the most for V's solo as his musical tastes align with mine. I can't wait for the rest of the album to drop on the 8th. 5 MVs total one for each song plus an instrumental version of one of the songs. We should start seeing him doing performances soon as well. I cant get over the clarity of his vocals. You can really hear when you listen to his solo work back to back. He just gets better and better.
I agree with your thoughts at the end of your reaction about the direction V is going with. I’m definitely liking his style of music and looking forward to hearing the rest of his album. I must say I’m enjoying BTS’s solo work. They are all so unique in their own musical journey.

V has a crazy range, which is how he can do all those vocal gymnastics without showing any strain. Versatile, sultry, V pulls you in effortlessly. I love how their Chapter 2 has showcased the individual musicality of each member and allowed them to follow their predilections. Each member has been stunning and I feel so lucky to have found my lovely boys.

Never heard these guys before but it seems like English is their second language and their pronunciation is really good. I notice a lot of Asian bands will toss in some English where they can because girls melt over it - but very few of them can fully pronounce what they’re singing like this guy can

This is BTS, the most famous Asian band ever. They have broken records set by the Beatles in the 1960’s, records by Michael Jackson, etc. They sing all sorts of genres. People from all ages (I’m 68 and one of the commenters in this thread said they are 75, but they appeal to young people, too.) races, religions, ethnicities and countries are fans. They write their own music, are amazing dancers and just amazing young men. They are known for their honest and true love for their fans, Army, and Army is known to be extremely loyal and protective of them. Their message is about loving yourself and they write in subjects that most KPop groups don’t, such as societal expectations (esp in Korean culture), social injustice, personal struggles like depression, etc. Their story is not an easy one. Yeah he's Korean but also fluent in Japanese and knows some Chinese so English is a 3rd or 4th language for him. All the BTS members really try and enunciate their English properly even if it's still difficult for most of them

there it goes my "color theory": the cave is the heart itself, empty, cold, dark. Tae is the love: the golden is the side of it which is hurt, harmed, the broken proud, bitter by being abandoned (he even can't sing "let you go" to the mic) the red one is the part of it (Tae/love) which is completely sincere and vulnerable (when they both admit they lied, is because the red got the golden to express it "said I'm alright, said I'll be fine") in the end, both of them are asking for the same thing, but I think it is 2 different approaches maybe I'm getting too much on it, that's what happens when you are trapped in a song like this, I think😅
Among the members of BTS, KIM TAEHYUNG's voice is the most stable one! His voice is beautiful, no need for auto tune, just simply his organic and genuine beautiful voice. It's soft, soulful, sweet and calm that you want to listen to it 24/7 of your life!

Los MV los grabó en España, en la cueva de Nerja en Málaga, aunque no está del todo claro, otros dicen que fue en Mallorca, y el apartamento es en un edificio emblemático de Madrid, era muy moderno en la época que se construyó, ahora es muy retro, vintage, a V le gusta lo Vintage, hay muchos símbolismos en el MV, nunca hacen nada porque si, todo tiene algún significado, los colores son anaranjado y azul porque son los que distinguen bien los perritos , lo hizo en honor a su perro, que no es el del MV , puesto que no lo pudo llevar a España, es uno de la misma raza, hay un móvil colgado detrás de él cuando pinta en el espejo, es de un artista japonés del cual V es fan, la imagen que se mueve es la foto de el del concepto del álbum, la cara que dibuja es la que siempre hace el, estilo Picasso, en la figura pone su nombre y el título del álbum layo✓er, hace ver que es un artista empleando viejas técnicas, como decía , todo lleno de símbolos, y seguro que hay mas, un saludo español 🫰

Rainy days is a nod to an animator and his art. Lots of symbolism. Tae plays the character in this MV. I think there’s also a reference to famous artists throughout the song. Was it Picasso that painted on glass during a documentary? I’m fuzzy on all the details.

You absolutely nailed it at 14:14. V chose to do music meaningful to him and show his musical style and his versatility, rather than go for a catchy, dancy pop song. After all Dynamite and Butter were just that. This is his chance to show something uniquely his and he is taking it. There's nothing wrong with the catchy summer pop hit, but also there's nothing new to it either.
Knox, when you mentioned rapping, it made me think of the BTS vocal line rapping at a concert. I think you would find it entertaining. V has a really unique flow…. It reminds me of J-Hope in the fact that it is just so unique. His personality really shines through in it. JungKook is a really good rapper, too. Im hoping he will have some rapping on his album. I’d be happy if V does, too, but I’m not expecting it.
