As someone who grew up with the originals and loved them, this line is a far more pleasing aesthetic take on the property. Love these and wish I would have been aware of them during their production.
It’s cool to see some love for the 2002 line! It revived my interest in Masters of the Universe, and I have a bigger collection of these than the MOTU Classics (so expensive). The NECA pieces are some of the best design work Four Horsemen have ever done!
To me the 2002 series and toys ARE the BEST. Their designs and sculpt are top notch and even evoke a perfect blend of Barbaric and Technological fantasy that is just awesome. Yes the series had issues with pasing, but dealt with even better issues like Adam as an actual teenager changing into an older and powerful version of himself. Also it is the only series were you see death happening such as Zodak's brother being eaten by King Hsss or even King Grayskull himself whom was made IN the series itself expanding on the history, and let's not forget KELDOR himself. The 2002 line was the best hands down, and I was brought up with the original 80s toys and series and had them all, so yeah to each its own but 2002 is the best.
Couple of things First this is an Awesome video i commented on this before but i had to say something again. This video started me down the road to start collecting 2000x figs again. I love my vintage collection and I like the classics (very $$$) but these figs fit what i want affordable and highly detailed. Ive been increasing my collection but now it seems like there going up in price for complete figures. But again thanks for making this video. Amazing collection.
I think the 2002 series action figures way much better then the 80s and classics, too bad they cancel de motu 200x series, nice collection you got there, I have the 2 castles grayskull versions and the figures but not vehicules yet..
+Junior Illinois I think it's because I really enjoyed the 3 seasons on Cartoon Network. A lot of guys only like the recent releases but I really enjoy the sculpts from the 2002 series. thanks for your feedback! I appreciate it.
Great collection....I have the 200x line, and classic line....I love that in the 200x they reimagined most of the characters.... They really look good with an updated body mold...... Great job
Watching your video a couple years ago made me fall in love again with this line and get most of the main figures. Still on the hunt for some of these.
Awesome collection. Loved He-Man since I was 9 when MOTU came out. All my vintage stuff was beat up and tossed as a kid. I discovered the 200x cartoon when I was 30 and it got me into collecting these. I have figures and Grayskull. No vehicles or beasts yet. I'm collecting Classics now too, but I definitely would like to continue building this collection as well. The sculpts and cartoon were next level. The Horsemen did these figures as well, so I don't know why people take issue with them .They were great, plus had action features, UNLIKE the CLASSICS.
cool collection bro. love them all. I also had a few collections to show in my next video. though not much are interested anymore but I still feel the excitement every time I see these toys.
I like both but I collect the classics, simply because you can create great scenes with them. My only grumble is they are heavily over priced, Yet the 200x are awesome designs.Great video love merman on that tentical thingy, cool :)
I think I went towards this line due to me really enjoying the cartoon when it was out. plus I had met the Four Horsemen several times at comic conventions and I really liked their sculpts.
I have almost the entire line but I'm just not sure about opening them especially without any room to display them as I have the Classics line displayed. My Vintage line also sits in boxes for now.. I really need a room just for my collection. I'm pretty sure the only things I'm missing is the Moss man, Keldor, Faker, Battle Hawk, Battle Bones, Spitbull, Terrordactl, and the outpost for Castle Grayskull. I should probably get into looking for this stuff..
I am jelly that you have the money to get them.. I am jelly that you have the whole collection... I am jelly my man. Jeez good for you. I wish I had the collection 😍
hy,Theese Figures are very cool !! i have the First version of Figures ,as i was a kid;) i love it if i have Time i make a Video About like you! greets
@@kylejackson7181 I got them in the old Kaybee Toys and conventions and a lot of patience the most i pay was the giants figures and the robot spittbull
my man thats a great collection you have there. i am 38 years old and a fan of motu ever since the 80s and had many of those figures from the 80s. but the 200x aka 2002 collection i must say that cartoon was amazing and even better then the old school one. the fact taht they had so many origin stories. i have the entire series on dvd and have watched it many times. the four horsemen did an amazing job with the figures. salute to you collection it is awesome!
I say again i love the original series but this one is one of my favorite because of the origin storyline of every single character is the best this line is my third favorite after vintage and classic
This was a great video and great collection i thought i was the only one who liked the 2002 cartoon. I love the toys but i have only been able to find 2 Skeletors and 3 He MAN with no weapons. Did you get all of these from ebay.
Very nice collection that was an amazong show. Didn't get in ti collecting those. Figures. Only because the poor articulation bit they had great sculpts
My favorite characters on this show are 1. Roboto 2. Trap Jaw 3. Beast Man and 4. Moss Man 🙂 I know that you don't have the other figures but there's also other characters I liked are 5. Clawful 6. Man at Arms & 7. Stinkor
hi what an impressive collection would you let me use your images to show your collection on my channel I will make a link to yours respecting your authorship
i think these are better then those classics they are making i mean they dont have action features like the original and the classics are for adults and a kid would like to have one made for them
I really do like the sculpts of 2002 action figure I mean ,my point of view are the best. the 80s one from that time are ok and the classic got more articulation but I care more the desing and sculpt after all
I'm definitely not an authority on MOTU characters…but the package says Battle Fist (it doesn't show Fisto on the MOTU 2002 packaging)….so I called him Battle Fist. sorry for not knowing bro (go look oneBay…none of the packages have "Fisto" on him for the MOTU 2002 line)….but yeah…he's Fisto for sure.
