Hi Bonnie! I know this was a scare for you and it was for me watching your video!! I've never commented on your videos but I just wanted to share this with you. Last August right after my 15th birthday I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and I had major surgery to remove my whole thyroid and lymph nodes in early September. I'm now going through my second round of radiation and staying strong! I just wanted to let you know that you are a strong women and you can get through this with your little Boston!! 💜💗💜💗💜💗💜💗💜💗💜💗💜

I know you might not see this Bonnie since this is an older video but this video might have saved my life. Last Sunday i felt a lump similar to Bostons above my collar bone. At first i thought nothing of it but then i remembered this video and decided to tell my mom because i'm only 14. After many tests the next couple days, on Wednesday i was admitted to the children's hospital where i live because my pulmonary diagnosis is lymphoma. I find out tomorrow more of the details about that but i truly believe that if i hadn't watched your video when it was uploaded then i wouldn't have told anybody and who knows what trouble i could be in right now. So glad they think it is not cancer! 2 wks after turning 35 I found out I have 2 forms of breast cancer. Both aggressive and invasive. I had no symptoms, just went for a routine mammo because we have family history. To say I was shocked was an understatement. I just finished my chemo 6-17 and have a double mastectomy 7-11. Then more chemo till Feb. I am praying the cancer is gone and I can enjoy watching my 3 children grow up. Blessings to your family!

My uncle now has cancer but he is getting stronger every single day. I am so happy that my uncle was so strong to take on the most hardest sickness. There was at time when he felt SO SICK. I am so happy that now he is better but wearing a huge uncomfortable mask on his face. Thank god I'm safe and healthy everyday. I really love life and should enjoy it. He was enjoying life to the fullest.HE DIDNT PASS AWAY FOR THE PEOPLE WHO THINK

Bonnie, my son had the same thing. Be sure that the surgeon closes off the duct ( I think that is what it's called) all the way. My son had his first surgery when he was 6 and had to have a second surgery when he was 7 because it came back. I think it was a fluid filled cyst. The duct is supposed to be closed when you are born, but for some reason some people are born with it open. The duct fills with fluid and become infected. BTW he is fine now and just got married last week!

Reading all of the comments makes me so sad... I hope that anyone who has to deal with a loved one having a deadly diasese is ok. If anyone who deals with this, I'm praying for you and your family. God bless, and have a great day.

My grandmother died of cancer in 2007. It really sucks to know that you can't do anything to help them. The cancer had spread through most of her abdomen before she told a doctor, by then it was too late. I really miss her, she was a great person! :( I miss you granny

My grandmother just passed away of cancer the last week. She slowly left our family. She lost her voice and then one eye could t see a thing and then the last thing I remember is me walking in the E.R room and the doctor saying "I'll leave you alon for your last words." And I'll I could tell her was "aI love you!" She took one last breath closed her eyes and then all that was left was the monitored beeping one last time. As I am 12 this was extremely hard I miss her smile and kind words every day. My grandma was my friend and someone I could count on. I miss her dearly every single day.

When i was 19 i lost hearing in my left ear and the doctors thought I had a brain tumor it scared the crap out of me i had to get an mri...i graduated high school terrified it turned out that I was fine no tumor just a problem with my cochlear it seemed cruel how badly they scared me

Bonnie the thought of Boston having cancer made me break down in tears and its only 9:00 lol

Thursday morning is my day to clean my brother in law's house. I watch RU-vid while I do it. My brother in law has 2 kids - 10 year old girl & 7 year old boy. He was having issues peeing so he went to the doctor thinking it was just a kidney infection. Within a matter of months the cancer has moved from renal carcinoma to into his lungs and bones. He's doing everything he can to stay alive but the doctors gave him 18 months (6 months ago). He's only 43 and his kids are still so young. He puts on such a brave face for them in his weeks to have them and sleeps away the weeks they are at their Mom's place. Sooooo awful. He thinks the protein odour he has is coming from the protein shakes he drinks... unfortunately I know better as a health care professional. :(

My son had the same exact thing. My son was only 4 months old when we discovered it. He was 9 months when he had the surgery. It was scary and terrifying but we got thru it. I'm sorry for your hard time.

I've never watched your videos before but this particular one popped up on my main page and the title for one caught my eye because my Nana had cancer, passed away almost 2 years ago and I was very close with her also she lived with us for 6 years before passing and it's definitely a hard thing and now my brother in-law who is only 32 and has 3 young children ages 6, 3, and 8months, got diagnosed in April of 2015 with a rare brain tumour for adults. It's called... Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) it's non operable and he's gone through chemo and radiation he was doing fairly well up until about two months ago when things took a turn for the worse one week he was walking, talking fine and doing everything for himself and his family then the next week he couldn't walk by himself needed a walker, his whole right side of his body just went limp and then few days after that he couldn't walk at all. He is now in hospice We're hoping for the best! Hope Boston feels better soon!!!!!

my Mommy has a spot on her brain and apparently they found it in 2014 at the emergency room but failed to tell her so she started getting migraines and recently she was seen at the doctor's office with a high fever and they sent her to the ER where the ER told her that the spot had gotten bigger my mom didn't understand what they were talking about then they told her that they had found the spot in 2014 and it had grown so she made another doctor's appointment and she had to spinal taps and an MRI all last week the results aren't in yet and I'm terrified your Mom supposed to be the one you go to when you're sad but now we've switched roles and I have to be the strong one I've been through a lot in my life surgeries babies autoimmune diseases and I'm still going through that because I have yet to be diagnosed with an exact disease I have multiple health problems and my mom is my support so now it's my turn to be hers and it's scary all I can do its prey that God gives me the strength to overcome the more you do for others the more you receive in return and the greater feeling that you've accomplished something God does good for everyone and he blesses the pure at heart I will pray for you the same as I do my own family

Bonnie I've started following you from Ellie and Jareds channel. This vlog made me cry! I have 4 children, my eldest son had a thyroglossal cyst removed at 8 and my youngest daughter was diagnosed with leukaemia at 8. This just brough back so many memories and emotions. They are both well now, my daughter finished her cancer treatment and everything is looking very positive. You tube is so amazing, helping people from the US and Australia connect. XxSam

I had cancer twice, luckily I survived, but your words at the end just made me tear up so much. You seem like such a lovely woman and a great mother! In 2013 my grandma was diagnosed with cancer or maybe 2012 and she safely passed in October guess what day if guessed the 31st you where right and if you had been wondering what type it was lung cancer the time was 5:00pm I sadly found out the next day but when I did all the sudden it began to rain the moment I began to cry

my aunt was recently diagnosed with brain cancer, im one of the youngest in the family so no one really tells me much but when i saw this video i completely understand how you feel and im so glad that he will be okay!!

My son was diagnosed with a neuroblastoma cancerous tumor at 10 months old. I almost relived that moment watching this video. So scary and heartbreaking. Thankfully, his is 2 yrs old and one year cancer free. Pediatric cancer now has a spot in my heart. I'm now an advocate and plan on doing some yt videos about our experience and to also educate others. As well as be support for those children still fighting, dying, and surviving.

My great grandmas on my moms side both died of cancer, and I know this is a late comment but I'm so relieved that Boston got his surgery. When you started to tear up, I could feel your emotion. It's really hard for everyone either it's a family member , your friend, or your favorite celebrity. Anyway I'm just sooo happy for you!

My brother had cancer but he survived

Ok...my daughter had a Thyroglossal duct cyst last year. She was 11 when we found it. It became abcessed before she had it removed, so had an I and D done. Then had it removed in June of last year. Unfortunately, there were some cells left, so it grew back. Again, became abcessed before having it removed again. And an I and D done again. Sept of last year had it removed again. ENT was in there the 2nd time and they got it all out the second time!

Both my grandfather (by blood) and my step grandfather (my father's stepdad) had prostate cancer around the same time and both have since made full recoveries and live happy healthy lives. I was thankful to help them through both!

i just want to say this here because it is a fairly open place. i do pray for those who have cancer, they have a place in my heart. and those of you who have family or friends with cancer. i actually have a friend who had cancer a while back make mention we are 13 now. she had it very young but is now cancer free. she is going through another struggle right now but she is constantly in my thoughts and prayers.

Bonnie, I just came back to this video when the dr told me my daughter had a thyroid nodule. It was right where Boston’s bump was. Typically thyroid nodules are cancerous. Watching this eased my mind. Without knowing it, you helped me through the scariest time with my daughter! It turned out to be a thyroglossal duct cyst and only took 45 mins to remove and she is now 2 weeks post op :) thank you Bonnie! :)

I had cancer when I was 14 and it came back when I was 16. It's a scary thing, but children do get cancer. I'm just glad that's not it for Boston. Lots of prayers for you and your family!

Around 8-9 years ago my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer.In 2011 my mother lost the fight and passed away.im now 12 years old and I think about her everyday.im always thinking about her and shell always be in my heart. My aunt has cancer. She's 18 and she is a senior going to college soon. She plays all brass instruments and the drum. She's in a hospital right now in Atlantic City all she wants is to come home. Her cancer is in her bones. She is a beautiful young lady and I hope she can get through this.

I had this huge bump on my throat last year, and my parents were terrified. We went to the doctor to get my blood drawn to see if I had Cancer or a tumor. After the test results came back, we were relieved to find that it was just a gland that has gotten sore which was fighting a sickness. I am so sorry you had to go threw this.

My father has throat Cancer & Cancer in his stomach he just had a surgery to remove the cancerous area and my family is praying he will be able to get back on food but first has to pass the swallowing , but for the time being he's on a feeding, and I'm helping my mom with giving the meds I'm doing what I can so he can have more time to spend with family but it's hard to see my father in such a hard fight for his life I've always known him to be a strong willed person this is truly a test of our faith i know he's not done fighting. #Team Edward

My grandpa has had cancer for years, but it has gotten a lot worse over this past year. This 1st Chemo he had made him really sick and he was in the the hospital for days. They doctors were ready to stop his heart, but my grandma told them no, and his doctor was giving up on him. So, he switched doctors. Now he is doing another chemo, he's still really sick. He's getting weaker and he's lost a lot of weight. It makes me sad because he's a really good cook, he loves to cook. But, he can't anymore.
