In a shocking courtroom confession on Monday, Lee Chun-jae, a South Korean man, admitted to murdering 14 women and girls over three decades ago. This revelation comes in connection with the infamous Hwaseong murders, a series of 10 killings between 1986 and 1991.
Lee expressed surprise at evading capture for so long, making his confession in the presence of Yoon, the only person ever convicted for any of these crimes.
