Dude I've been waiting for someone to transcribe this solo! Is this jazz standard becoming mainstream now?!

This song is called "heartaches" was an older jazz version of the meme song. The known meme version Was eerier and just overall updated By the Caretacker. But now they got the original song and made a transcription :D

there are like 3 ̀or 4 other versions of it on the same album: everywhere at the end of time, in which it decays with eevery repetition

I'm out of the loop here. What's the meme?
@MotoMoto-ld9gi
@MotoMoto-ld9gi Месяц назад
It’s that one song “It’s just a burning memory” by the caretaker from which it samples and gets its name. Idk if you’re out of the internet loop then you wouldn’t know it.
@brycewalburn3926
@brycewalburn3926 Месяц назад
@@MotoMoto-ld9gi yeah, that's why I'm asking. Still not sure how a song existing constitutes a meme.
@MotoMoto-ld9gi
@MotoMoto-ld9gi Месяц назад
@@brycewalburn3926 The edited version by the caretaker sounds pretty creepy so people liked using it in TikTok’s and the like, so now it’s more of an internet thing than a jazz thing.
@jimmydarrow2345
@jimmydarrow2345 Месяц назад
@@brycewalburn3926 Songs can become memes when they appear so much that they start to take on a meaning of their own. For this song, though the original composition comes from an album addressing the experience of going through Alzheimer's, the song began to be used repeatedly in memes about nostalgia or reminiscence with a hint of sadness. For some reason, whether people enjoyed the song, the songs meaning resonated well, or just the often complete entropy of the internet, the song became quite popular. After seeing so many memes, people learned to associate the song with the context and this meme was born. It can be a strange phenomenon but it happens all the time.

I'm pretty sure most of this channel's transcriptions are in concert key, and the tenor usually is written 8vb on the treble clef.
