I actually had a friend who worked at Chuck E Cheese. He wasn’t a pizza cook but as far as I know there is no NDA and they’re allowed to have their phones out... He would record a lot of things out in the open while working and nothing happened.

I was hired the day of my interview, which was surprising at the time. But it does happen, but they don’t have you working then next day because HR has to background checks on you. Which can take a number of business days, especially with jobs involving children.

Cheese near my house is bomb. So no, but also my brother literally uses his phone during work and he has it in his pocket. No he isn't a bad worker, he just goes on his phone when nothing is happening.

I work at a restaurant and make minimum wage. No NDAs, and I had to sign a contract to work at the cash register (basically promising to not steal). I am free to talk about how food comes frozen but I can't steal money (they also count it at the end of the night). He can talk about a fake NDA but not about all the stuff that would be required of him to be at a cash register??? Ahaha no.

Ok, I am writing this pre-watching the video, so I will edit if need be. I worked at Chuck E. Cheese Pizza Inc. From 2012 to 2013 (This is before they became a private company.) My jobs were being the game room attendant during the week (Test and fix the games.) and the pizza cook during the weekend. I was a full time employee because I took a year off between high school and college. This is what I know about the pizza: 1. The pizza crust was made from scratch every morning. 2. There is a good reason why the pizza crust looks like it does not match the pizza. During the weekends (or any busy time) most places have 1 or 2 people in the kitchen making all the food. That. is. it. The hand-shaped crust is rarely ever a perfect circle shape. This means that any imperfection in the cutting process will look exaggerated. When cutting the hot pizzas when the come out of the oven, the cook typically will only spend 2 seconds at the most cutting it. That typically means the cuts are not down the middle of the pizza. Furthermore, the pizza is cut on the plate that it is cooked on then slid to the serving plate. This leads to the pizza sliding a little. When the cook is in a rush they don't take the time to center everything back because it is pizza, who cares. With all of that said, the sliding of the pizza is the main reason that the pizza looks like it does not belong to the same pie. Most importantly, Can we take a minute to talk about how the Chuck E. Cheese founder is the same guy who is responsible for Pong (Nolan Bushnell). Lastly, the voice of Chucky is the lead singer of Bowling for soup.

Used to work at a pizza place. Sometimes the pizza doesn't slide off the paddle when you're transferring it to the box/plate, so you have to transfer each piece individually. That's where the uneven edges come from. It's super annoying.

As a person whose worked on CEC for quite some time, I can confirm that they do not recycle pizza. They obviously feed it to the rats that live in the bathroom stalls

I worked at CEC for 13 years at 10 different locations in 4 states. Cast members are not provided uniforms. They have to buy a polo and slacks to wear. Also I have never seen a desk like that in any office in any CEC. There is no manager that would ever call kid check the front desk. They do not make anyone sign NDAs ever. They do a background check on every employee. You might get hired the day of the interview, but it will be at the very least 3 days before you start. Your first day you will be watching videos and doing orientation. His story is BS on every level.

I worked at CEC when I was 16. Nobody ever started work the same day as their interview because you needed to sign off on a background check because you are working around children. My CEC did break a lot of NYS labor laws though. Having 16 year olds work until midnight on school nights and having the party hostesses come in for 4 hours for ‘dance rehearsal’ and asking us to bus tables while we were there and NOT being paid. If we didn’t come in for rehearsal we wouldn’t get assigned any parties that weekend which meant no tips. Even with all that sketchy behavior, we never ever were told to recycle pizza.
