Please have you home air tested for mold unfortunately at your expense. The work described is not the industry accepted safe process to completely remove mold. All the drywall in the area needed to be removed it was only patched.

@@alyssandallin Seems like if that area was missed in the first place, there could be more in other areas. Also have the ducts & attic tested . Black mold is highly toxic and a silent creeper.

They should be removing all the walls and trim from that cupboard to be sure it isn’t anywhere else in there

Oh no!!! Glad you caught it. I hope you all stayed somewhere else. While it was being removed. Especially baby would be high risk😢 so scary

Just at least until you get the situation 100% fixed, it’s bad enough she has already been exposed to it, there’s still time, it’s only adding up more in her lungs and through her system as time goes by… cmon guys I thought you were better than this.

The walls were completely ripped out! No more mold around here. Trust me safety is our biggest priority, especially with a baby.

You don’t need to evacuate your whole house for a contained area of mold. Happened to us too.
