Dimash is truly like none other. I would also recommend viewing his performance of Unforgettable Day from Singer 2017 and his performance from the Dimash Digital Show on his YT channel (labeled as Uymultas Kun). Dimash tends to change up the bridge of the song for each performance and those are two of my favorites. This is the song that made me realize that I would never be content to be "just a fan" and ignited my drive to actively promote him. It's been 6 years now since I saw the performance on Singer 2017 and the drive has only become stronger. Dimash is the G.O.A.T 🔥🔥 Really enjoy your reactions. ❤

Фестиваль Gakku -ежегодное мероприятие, которое организовывает популярный музыкальный телеканал Gakku, в нем обычно участвуют многие популярные среди молодежи певцы, и на него собираются очень много зрителей. По заявлению телеканала в тот год было около 150 тысяч зрителей. Концерт транслировался в прямом телеэфире и его смотрели фанаты из многих стран. Незадолго до концерта фанаты узнали, что в фестивале будет выступать Димаш. И тут же несколько фанатов из разных стран - США, Франции, Финляндии, Сингапура, Китая, России сообщили, что приедут в Алматы. Фанклуб обратился к организаторам концерта и нам выделили отгороженную территорию. Фестиваль длился более 6 часов, и Димаш выступал последним. Мы ждали его все это время в этой фанзоне. Принесли туда воду, еду, складные стульчики и было очень весело. Сцена была высоко над нами. Но мне повезло, я смогла влезть на крепкий стул , нас на одном стуле было 4 человека😂. У меня в руках оказалась очень красивая корзина с цветами, которую я поставила на сцену. Димашу корзина явно понравилась и он во время выступления несколько раз подходил к этому месту , садился на корточки и мы видели его очень очень близко, на расстоянии вытянутой руки Мы даже попали в кадр. Я даже заглянула ему в глаза...Димаш пел однозначно вживую. Но когда он спел эту D8, мы не поняли что произошло. Но буквально через несколько часов пошли первые реакции влогеров из США...

Heya, Maddy. Thanks for this reaction. I see you're enjoying Dimash quite a bit. Me, too! That note was a D8, one full tone higher than you can find on a standard piano. If you search RU-vid, you can find videos of other people making even higher notes than that; if memory serves, there's even one instance of someone making a sound in the 10th octave, which is truly astounding. Notice, however, the enormous difference between *making a note*, *making a sound*, and *SINGING*. Dimash's D8 there was accurately pitched in the correct key -- it fit the song, even though in all other performances of the same song, he uses lower notes in the chord (a G7 comes to mind). This one performance stands out as the only D8 I've ever heard (or even heard of) being sung in a song -- not that I've heard everything, but still . . . Again thanks for this reaction. Cheers.

This was at the annual Gakku TV open-air concert, with approximately 150,000 fans in attendance. Gakku TV is the first music channel in Kazakhstan that exclusively airs content produced in Kazakhstan, promoting Kazakh music, culture, and patriotism. During this 2017 live performance, Dimash set a record for the highest note ever sung in a live concert when he produced his now-famous D8. He not only hit a D8 but also did a glissando and held it for several seconds, even adding vibrato to it. It was a spontaneous attempt because he missed the slightly lower note he had initially aimed for immediately prior when he was shaking the mic from side to side. Although, there are still the occasional trolls who claim that the note was pre-recorded or that it was an electronic glitch. Dimash is truly on another level. His voice seems limitless, and no matter how many performances of his you watch, he will always surprise you with something new. The Guinness Book of Records lists the highest vocal note ever produced by a male as an F8 (F#8, 5989 Hz), achieved by Amirhossein Molaei (Iran) in Tehran, Iran, on 31 July 2019. That was done in a studio, where the singer was just trying to hit the note and had been working on his whistle register for years to prepare for this attempt. He held the note briefly after a proper warm-up and several attempts. Dimash wrote this song when he was 16 or 17 years old and the lyrics were written by Oral Baissengir, of course in Kazakh. This performance was in Kazakhstan (Gakku TV is a Kazakh television channel. I heard there were about 150,000 spectators and the city center had to be completely closed). There he hit his highest note so far, his famous D8. You don't need to look for this note on the piano, the keys weren't enough for that anymore. Some say the tone isn't exactly pleasing to the ear, but it doesn't make it any less spectacular. If we check other versions that Dimash sings of this song (which he wrote when he was younger), we can see a melisma or other very beautiful variations in this part of the "whistle". Here, singing on an open stage and with some discomfort in the return (we can see it several times by adjusting the headphones) we realize, in this specific part of the song, that he is going to do something and, not being able to do what he would like (Perhaps the interference from the audience or the inaccurate response of the sound, a fact that impaired his concentration), then he issued this wonderful and historic C#8 modulated to D8, with vibrato! In a more technical analysis, we can see that the notes sound dissonant, as they do not belong to the harmonic field of the tonality of the music. Still, it's a demo of technique! He must have instantly thought: "Since I couldn't do what I wanted, I'll improvise!" So he emitted the inconceivable and supernatural D8 (4698.64 Hz)!
