Her parents failed in their duties to properly teach their daughter to honor and respect her vows that she made.she and her parents really hurt kunle. They were heartless . They have no loyalty,no love, respect, dignity and honor so the whole family suffered. Chioma was old enough to honor her vow to kunle. She was greedy and ungrateful and she paid for it. It’s totally ok changing your mind without going about things that way, as in she stopped responding, looked down on him etc. She could at least been honest by telling the new man about the situation and that she changed her mind for him. Maybe after telling him and at least ask him to help pay back the man’s money, and not straight up assume he would the story might have turned out differently.

Good story. She did have the right to change her mind, but I think she should have communicated that to him. It was so unfair how she treated him and still continued to depend on him. So, she got what she deserved. You definitely reap what you sow. He probably could have taken grievances after the father too, because that drink, he poured, and they shared together was a verbal contract/agreement like a handshake they used to do back in the day.

Great story. She had a right to change her mind, but there's a correct way to do everything. She should have had a conversation with her boyfriend instead of just ghosting him and continuing to take his money, especially while knowing that he was saving for his own education. Actions, both good and bad have consequences, both good and bad. She got what she deserved. My heart broke for him. I'm glad that it worked out for him in the end.

She was only 17 years old at the time but as She got older she knew what she was doing and her greedy parents did not taught right that you don't treat someone who loved and sacrificed his own education for her, she has a mind of her own and she also knew what she was doing. Please don't use the fact that she was only seventeen as an excuse for her actions. Young people must learn to take responsibility for their actions. No sympathy for Chioma, even though she was only 17 when she made the commitment, she could have spoken to Kunle as soon as she realised that her feelings had changed. Instead, she was rude and disrespectful. Her parents also should have spoken to her, but they were greedy and selfish. The fact that she now looked down on the same work he did to get her through university just speaks volumes about how shallow she was. She deserved everything she got. Good to see that the men stuck together and taught her a lesson. Very interesting and well narrated story. Thank you 👍

Nice story with a wonderful lesson. The young man was good and kind, but naive. His first mistake was he lost his focus. He hadn't even started school yet and he allowed himself to start a relationship with a lady. That was a bad move. Even if h they had gone to wchool together age would have destroyed him. Every time she needed money she would have complained to him and he would have felt the need to help her. Unfortunately most women are guilty of this. She may not ask him for it directly, but let's be real guys, if your girlfriend comes up to you crying that her parents were unable to send her money for handouts what would you do especially if it was something she really needed. You would definitely give it to her if you had the money. At the end of the day he would have found his savings dwindling until he either barely graduates, or his grades suffer because he's bearing both their burdens, or if she starts cheating on him and he finds out or he drops out because he's used up all his savings. She was bad news for him either way you look at it. Both she and her parents got what they deserved. It never occured to them that they had a son and how would they feel if that happened to him. People do things to others forgetting that the tables could be turned. Okey was able to identify with Kunle because it was like history repeating itself. Thank goodness he rescued him. Kunle had a heart of gold imagine he released her from prison. She lost out big time because she chose to be greedy and forgot the terms of their agreement. He was going to go to school. He wasn't going to do menial jobs forever. Besides it was those menial jobs she looked fown on and insulted him over that paid her tuition and sustained her during the course of her program. Imagine it was those same menial jobs that allowed him to spend ten million naira on her. She didn't need that much. If she focused on her studies and remembered who she was and where ahe cane from she wouldn't have been trying to compete with others. He wouldn't have needed that for his education. In the end karma did it's job and he was repayed for his kindness. Both Kunle and Okey were blessed with lovely families.

Kunle was so nice to her , he send her to college to do law what her mother and father could not and that how she paid him back by telling him he not her type of man after he do all kinds of work to send her to college, and her father promise him is daughter would married to him and he protect her all the way not to have intercourse with her and till they get married that was so heart breaking to him because she made a promise to him is what she sow is what she reap that pay her in life we must do good to others
