You can apply for any cooking class online. Get the certificate and apply. You can do some voluntary service as well to boost your profile

@@TimeWithStephen Vocational study programs mostly including significant amounts of practice, including working, as part of the study program. Put finding and working additional part-time jobs for income, that is a different matter.

The English language proficiency test that VAMIA is accepting is the English Duolingo test. It is an online test. All information is available from their website and easy to find by web search engines like Google.

Proof of funds for supporting living in Finland is need in the residence permit (RP) application process. Applicants need to have the funds at the time of the processing of the RP process and as they enter Finland. The requirement to have sufficient funds continues throughout the period of having the residence permit for studies and staying in Finland based on that permit. The amount for the proof of funds needed is for the first year. However the need to be able to support your own living of course continues also after that.
