Bill Bailey was a really close friend of Sean Lock. They would regularly go on holiday together with their families and I can only imagine how funny it must have been when those two were having a beer together 😂

Bill Bailey is intelligent, clever, witty and uses his extensive musical skills to provide excellent British comedy. He has lampooned the musical styles of bands such as Rammstein, Kraftwerk etc. whilst able to play a wide variety of musical instruments, rewriting songs in his own wicked style. There are many RU-vid videos showing his talent.

I saw Bill Bailey live a few months ago here in Australia. At one point he dissed Coldplay and said their music sounds better in Turkish. And for the next 5 minutes he sang Coldplay's "Yellow" in Turkish and got us to join in. So random and brilliant 🤣

Bill bailey is definitely one you need to add into your rotation. Intelligent, immensely musically talented. All of his stand up shows are absolute joys. He also did a special called his guide to the orchestra where he explains every section of the orchestra using comedy and his immense talent. I'm sure everyone will agree with me on watching the whole stand ups when you guys get a chance. Great content guys and best wishes from Ireland

Bill is Brilliant. An excellent comedian and a great musician. Also a dedicated wildlife enthusiast and conservationist. His variations on the old "three men walk into a pub" jokes are hilarious. It's worth catching some of the sitcom he mentioned ("Black Books") too.

I've seen him live, he's amazing. Seems to be able to play any style of music, on any instrument you can imagine, using brand new lyrics, all based on random suggestions from the audience.

Bill live is definitely an experience. I was at one gig in Oxford, ten or twelve years ago now - we dragged him back on stage for eight or nine encores, one of which involved him teaching the audience how to actually sing "La Bamba", and he wouldn't stop until we got it right.

I still recall the very first time I saw him live; I was in pain from laughing so much! He really has mastered the art of riffing off the audience. Sadly when he progressed to doing arena tours the gigs lost a lot of that rapport due to the sheer scale. Fortunately, he's gone back to doing more "intimate" venues again which far better suit his style.

Saw him live. One of the best live acts I've ever seen. Also, laughed so much my ribs hurt and I nearly suffocated. The best thing about it was it was like sitting on the couch in the living room with a bunch of really good friends taking the piss. He played the audience like an instrument

Bill Bailey is an amazing musician, multi instrumentalist. He is extremely intelligent, not only that but very wise too. From the West Country, he sometimes slips into his West Country accent. He can often be found sitting cross legged on a tree stump in the middle of the forest, contemplating, and giving out little pearls of wisdom. He is known down here as the Dalai Farmer. Watch ANYTHING with his name in it, you can not go wrong, he's not too bad

Bill Bailey did release one track from his part troll tour where he did the hokey kokey in the style of Kraftwerk......yes you did read that correctly. IF you thought this was leftfield, it's sedate compared to that tune. His musical prowess is frightening. Anyone who can cover Scarborough fair in the style of Rammstein, Do a lounge version of the match of the day theme, Put George bush to drum & Bass AND mock beethoven by playing fur elise in a major key to make it sound like a bavarian milking song has to be beyond talented. Yes he did ALL these in various tours and gigs.

Bill Bailey is wonderfully offbeat and a great musician too. Your remarks on the comments section made me think of another British comedian Dave Gorman. I was once visiting friends in Australia and we were all in a pub and we sat at the bar talking to the owner. He guessed we were English from our accents and we got talking about the shitty Australian soap operas we have on British TV. He the said that in Oz they have a few of our British shows.
