I'd say 80 percent of cheaters do it for fun and reactions. Some might say they're virtuous cheaters, cheating to bring attention to problems that need fixing, but really only a VERY small portion of the people that say that actually mean it. People who hide their cheats are more likely to be the type of person tru3 is describing.

I cheat in a lot of video games. It's fun. I've played with and against cheaters my entire life. Botting in RuneScape, Minecraft with nodus, csgo with aim and walls. I think that people who are competitive but do not have the skill to compete at the level they want are actually less likely to cheat, but rather those are the people who feel most wronged by the cheater. Cheating for me wasn't some a large thought process. It was just something new and fun to do.

1% wouldn't make much of a difference. That 1% would usually make chases last 0.15 seconds longer, and that time is simply not enough to make a difference. Maybe a 3-4% speed boost, but 1% is just ridiculous.

Scratch marks don't show up immediately, they have a delay and also you don't need to hack scratch marks, simply turn the speed hack on and walk away

@@ryliek6832 She leaves scratch marks when she runs with the basic speed and leaves no scratch marks when she runs using speedhack. Keep in mind she can adjust speedhack during a match so she can run with a normal speed but still leave no marks if she chooses so.

In the beginning I was under the mindset escaping was winning, and dying was losing. Now I fully understand what winning really is if you are playing survivor. Helping the team with gens and saves. Been playing this game for 3 years, and i just played against my first hacker this past month. I recorded the whole game, sent it to the devs and the dude got perma banned from DBD. The hacker i played against wasn't even trying to hide it, speed hacks, unhittable hacks, and instant heal hacks infront of my face the entire match, and all on video

Damn this reminds me of a match against a hacker. Was a simple speed hack but very annyoing. Tried my best to get him. In fact I got him and downed him. Wanted to camp him because reasons you know. Now the thing is I made one fatal mistake and letting him slip through my fingers which in that case cost me two kills.

the funniest part is she even had perks to try and hide that she was hacking lol. dead hard for her totally not hacks to get distance twice in less than a minute time while nonstop sprinting, self care and we'll make it for her totally not ridiculously fast heals, commodious toolbox with bnp so her ridiculous gen progression speed seemed normal. went the whole 9 yards to make it seem like she wasnt hacking but that start of her identifying as sonic the hedgehog just kinda showed it off lol

I had a survivor dissppear in chases everytime after I injured her. I had no lag & didn't happen with any other player. Luckily I was the trapper & caught her in a trap. I did report them so hopefully something was done but probably not.

I would kinda see if this person was playing killer and doing it, because it makes sense but it doesn’t make it right. It takes a lot more skills to hack then play survivor. Just watch TrU3Ta1ent and get better. It’s more rewarding!

Is that like a thing that survivors do these days? Because I've seen three of these hackers in the last two weeks (no collision hack Meg on The Game, speedhack Jane on Coldwind Farm and my favourite infinite Dead Hard Claudette on Haddonfield). With all these changes happening to make playing survivor easier and you still get these little twerps.

I believe there are more hackers than we actually know in DbD. I had a friend who had an account banned for hacking BPs for one and he knew plenty of ppl who did the same and he had like 3k hours into the game. I think devs and moderators dont take the hacking in this game seriously and they receive plenty of proof about it.

the survivors already have an big advantage is called "dev biased" the devs are 100% balancing the game in their favor so, imagine how sad you must be to hack a game that you can easy win as a survivor by default, WTF!!!???
