No not for me. If you want the most for your bang. Buy a single wide new trailer with 800 square foot with furance and everything you need with two to three bedroom for $25000 or a little less. You will get more space.

I so agree! he's so organized. My goal in 5 years time to go tiny. I already live in the city, in a small studio apartment. Therefore, I believe I can make it work living tiny. in fact, most tiny homes I see are way bigger than my studio . I would be upgrading actually. I also love the yellow theme in the bathroom. How cool would be to pick a spot and take your home with you.

This guy is very impressive how he lived in 2 tiny houses & he is telling the truth most of us don’t have 500 dollars saved for emergencies. Also a lot of us live beyond our means & working to death to pay for things that we knew we couldn’t really afford in the 1st place

There’s only one thing I don’t care for in this house, that is the bedroom loft. But that is a personal preference. I love how neat and well thought out this design is. Him living in a tiny home before gave him the chance to see what he does and does not want. The color of the bathroom is so bright and sunny.

Loved how thoughtfully this home was shared. The background information is super helpful for those still in the dreaming process. His home is well-appointed and beautiful. The setting is lovely. And I may be more than a little jealous of the space he has found to call home. That lot rent is amazing (says the one who lives in a tourist trap, so happily pays almost 3x that amount for the lot). 😇😳

Thanks for sharing! I think your house is everything a man needs. As someone who experienced the 2008 financial crisis in the same way, I think you have learned a great strategy about how to live. Great information! I love being able to hear the natural sounds of the washer dryer and also the bacon frying! It gives us an idea of what it sounds like in a tiny home. Most of the videos done about tiny homes look so luxurious and rarely to you hear any of the noise that naturally occurs in or around the home. So this was very refreshing. Thank you for all the details. Great video!

Allan's has a way with seeing 👀 the bigger picture. And choosing what's actually more important. He would do well with his own RU-vid channel. Hope thing's continue to work out for him. Speaking of making good choices. There's a series called " The Chosen ". Tuned in late at night. Thought it would help me sleep. Couldn't stop watching and learning. Actually watched all season 2 . And started the first session the afternoon of the next day. It's going so well they decided to make more episodes and get this. Translate into many other languages. A real frugal life style. Talk about living your best life! Allen's candor about why living tiny makes so much sense financially and all the tips he provides is truly valuable. Many people of all ages are looking for a better way, that doesn't involved being mired down in traditional debt for decades. Going tiny may be a process as most of us will have to rethink and significantly pare down our possessions, but this shows you don't have to skimp on the things you truly treasure to do it. I love the creativity going tiny provides and the opportunities to create a bit of home outdoors as well. I've seen hundreds of tiny home tours and this is one of my very favorites, cheers!

I thoroughly enjoyed your tour of your tiny homes. As well as your free advice on tiny living since I’m considering it myself. I too had a life change with the death of my husband. Our home is too big for me now and there is the issue of upkeep as I grow older bc I’m 60 . Back to you! Your current tiny house is lovely and I love the way you have made it uniquely yours. Being single gets lonely and you have apparently gained friends along your journey. I hope you continue enjoying living big in your tiny home.

It's a lovely home. I really like the yellow in the bathroom gives it a nice pop of color. The one Holderness very clever.mgreatbuse of space. I feel the same way about Mason jars to, they bring a pop of color and texture to the kitchen, makes for easy cleaning and not a lot of waste that goes to a dump every week. For me I need thw extra counter space. Your kitchen is super cute. I don't know why people don't hang their pots and pans. Mine are on the wall with a sign that says pot farm. Lol, saves so much space and back problems from bending over all the time.

Hello Alan from our farm in New Hampshire! Thank you for sharing your Tiny Home journey. You have made the perfect home for yourself. We built a small farm cottage at the base of our family farm. I say "small" by standards. It is 988 square feet with a full walk out basement. We are still helping to run the farm, so I need a working kitchen for canning/freezing, etc., but I would be open to downsizing if that became necessary. Your 30' model is a winner! What more does one need? Keep the best of the best and give away the rest! I like the back room. No video games for me, but what an awesome space for art and sewing projects. A large laptop would serve me well. Enjoy your home and all the best! ~ Diane

I love the idea of having it as a sleeping space should the need arise. Aside from aging, people sprain ankles and God forbid! break legs so it’s good to have the space there if necessary. I would make it into a library/reading space for now.

Congrats! Very nice tiny house and wonderful place. There is oly one thing I will never understand: Why do they dry their clothes in a dryer after washing? It is such a nice job to hang the fresh washed and wonderful smelling clothes outside in the fresh air. With or without sunshine.

Wow, this is it! I LOVE this home, Allen has the right ideas. The layout of his house is intelligent and impeccable --- then there's THAT GARDEN too! Very inspiring.
