I am so glad i was raised by conservative parents and being raised offline until i was a teen. When i was young i wanted to be a girl because i felt like i never fit in. Yep I remember those days in high school. Boys walking around in pink shirts saying real men wear pink lol. The goth kids were more likely to be experimenting with if they are gay or not. And the kids that were gay and everyone knew did not act any different just went about life trying to get out of high school.

I was a huge tomboy cause of my older brother. And my mom wasn’t the girly type either. I wanted to do everything my brother wanted to do, except I played with dolls. My younger brother would play with dolls cause he wanted to hang out with me. It’s normal for kids to be into toys/hobbies if they see another kid doing it or someone they are close to.
I had one doll that wore jeans wasn't a doll girl. We two youngest girls, asked Mom buy us books instead. The oldest was my brother & my oldest sister. She liked his cars, a dump truck, to play with, he liked her dolls when I guess up to 5 years. My parents were Typical kids. What happened to just thinking thats all right.
That’s exactly how my brother and I were when we were kids. He would play Barbie’s with me because he knew I would play Spider-Man with him later. Thankfully all the times we played dress up and he would put a dress on my parents knew it was just because he wanted to hang out with his sister.
I remember being 9. I really liked girl things as well as I liked boy things. So I believed myself to be gay and started telling everyone I was gay. Then I had my first crush-- a girl. I'm damn lucky I wasn't born in this day and age to THAT KIND of family.

I used to glance at their youtube channel years, he's not an only child (older and younger sister) but his dad wrote an entire book about how he struggled with his gender identity and put a picture of his child on the book. He got MAJOR backlash because he was probably around 5 at the time. The father "encouraged" his son to discover "his true self".

If his son now a girl wants to be a girl and they all stand by them and show them its ok to be who they are . Shows that the except there're child no matter what. If his child thinks he is a girl then give them full support not supporting your child can effect them aswell. If 5 months down the road my child said I want to be a boy I'd support them and that doesn't mean let's go have surgery to make you a boy that's less see how long this phase persay lasts. A girl in my school always use to wear boy clothes and walk and have haircut like a boy. Parents also encouraged it because they wanted a boy. But as she grew up she got attracted to boys and started dressing like a girl. Now she is happily married to her husband.

When I was growing up, it was just me and my brother. We are about a year apart and we did everything together! I always wanted to be out with my dad and brother. It used to make my mom sssoooo mad! She wanted me in the house and learning what she believed a girl should be doing. I was like NOPE, I’m doing whatever my dad and brother are doing lol! But never once did I want to be a guy!!! Which is totally normal for boys with older sisters and no brothers, I have pics of my son dressed in girls dress up clothes and his sisters dresses coz he wanted to join in, he is a total boy now but as a little boy he was flexible with stuff like that
This all started during lockdown too, so he was literally only around his sisters . OF COURSE he will want to play with girly things and be like his sisters. Even outside lockdown it’s normal for kids to want to be like their siblings or play with their toys.
My 9 year old daughter came home from School and said she was a lesbian now. I asked her if she knew what that meant, she said no, that she just wanted to be accepted by her school friends. I told her that she is not one and she will not know if she’s going to be one until she becomes an adult and starts dating. Well, the story of this family is way worse than just this. Basically, the parents are one of the OG family vloggers. Naturally, at some point their channel started losing subs, the views were low and there was some drama involved too. The parents took a break and came back with a video where the father said "i'm non-binary, our child is trans, so please buy my new book" 🧡 since then, they are milking their child's story as much as possible - they even did a new gender and name reveal for this child (and even had a video trailer to get people hyped), soooo... 🙉

Due to dad's need for attention, some scientists will be able to do case studies on this family in the future (due to all the insightful details) and we will understand how mental illness (dad) causes trauma and mental illness in the child. As a little kid, about this child's age, I loved superheroes like Spider-Man and Ben 10. They were my favorite characters and I even had a Ripjaws(Ben 10 alien) toy my uncle gave me. Those are considered boy shows. I am biologically female. Neither I nor my parents have considered I to be otherwise. I'm very grateful for that.

I am the oldest of my cousins. The second was a girl a year and a half younger. So we grew up together. It was just the two of us in my grandma’s house. We played with her Barbies. We cut out paper dolls. We played fashion designer and drew dresses and messed with my mom’s makeup. We also played cops and robbers and made toy guns with sticks and elastic bands. We played with my GI Joes. None of our parents thought that it meant either of us was questioning our gender and today we are perfectly fine. This is ridiculous.

I work with kids, ages 5-10. No way in HELL can they make rational decisions about anything. Most of them can't make up their minds about what activities they wanna do after they finish their homework. Let alone decide anything for themselves!

It absolutely baffles me that parents and medical professionals can’t tell the difference between interests/personality and gender. When I was young boy I absolutely loved more “girly” toys, books, and movies (still do). One day I told my parents I wanted to be a girl and dress in ball gowns. Once my parents learned this they talked with me, realized I was confusing my love for Princesses and being creative with gender, and gently helped me realize that I can still like those things and be a boy. If I had different parents or was born 10 year later I most likely would have been wrongly transitioned and be permanently hurt, both physically and psychologically. Gender dysphoria exists but we need to slow down and make sure children with developing brains understand that their gender doesn’t have to match societal norms.
Also no child under the age of 18 should be taking puberty blockers, hormones, or having any transitioning surgeries. They can make the choice to medically transition once they are adults and are independent of possibly biased parents. And until then they can socially transition which is reversible if it’s just a phase.

My sister wanted to be a boy so bad when we were young. She was called a "Tom Boy" and she played sports with all of us. She was a great ball player. She grew out of that phase, and she is very happily married with three beautiful children. I can't imagine if it were now, these phases pass and the things that are going on are atrocious. We will not see the ramifications of these bullshit policies for years, and I cant even imagine the train wreck that's waiting for us on the other side of this.

I watched this family for years and these parents pushed this on him from the beginning. He has an older sister and whatever they bought for her they bought for him. As a toddler they were putting him in princess dresses like his sister.

I have an older brother and when we were younger I was really into “boy” things because that’s all I knew. My mom never even gave the thought I wanted to be a boy I was just a kid enjoying things
My sister struggled with a speech and language disorder that was accompanied by a few other issues that made comprehension extremely difficult. She was incredibly intelligent, but it was way more difficult for her to figure things out. She knew the difference between boys and girls, but it took her several years to connect them to their words. It is a miracle that she was able to grow up before this started. I can't imagine how we would explain things to her. It's hard enough now, and she's 22 (she just graduated from her speech therapy classes a couple months ago - we are so proud!). These people don't think about kids like her. She also suffers from sensory issues...please don't be revving your engines in neighborhoods, and bumping your music as loud as it goes. It's getting really common (people with sensory issues), and for her...She has uncontrollable panic attacks, which can easily lead to an asthma attack, or a seizure. I have had moments as a kid where I was like that a lot well a good chunk of my childhood and then grew out of it or you could say I grew up and I now enjoy more feminine things and I dress like a tomboy when I want or if I am lazy and some days I want to wear skirts, dresses, and makeup. My child thought she was a dog for a period of time. I ignored the phase until she was done with her curiosity. I shudder to think what would have happened if I'd gone out and bought her a leash and water bowl. people, allow your child make believe until they outgrow it on their own.

I was super feminine as a child, loved feminine things and I am so glad my parents didn't force me to transition. We all go through different phases in our lives, I'm now 19 and the things I loved and who I thought I was when I was little is not the way things are now. People need to stop assuming all kids know what they are as a child.

My reason for acting that way was that I’d been abused and thought if I acted like a boy, and tried looking like one older boys wouldn’t want to hurt that little girl me anymore! I didn’t reveal the true reason till I was 17! Thank God my parents were from the 70’s and I was just an into boy stuff girl and didn’t get pushed down this route! 😅
