Hello, after the success of the first Batman video. I decided to create a video on how detective mode thugs react when they see batman behind them. I hope you enjoy it. store.playstat... #Batman #BatmanArkhamKnight #Compilations
Like that one goon in the animated series I think Goon: *opens door* somebody in here? Batman: *stares at him* Goon: *stares back for a few seconds then closes door* Goon 2: Something wrong? Goon 1: Nnnope
“Stay Calm! He wants you to panic!” Goon at 1:23 : “Don’t worry boss, I’m not panicking, I’m just suffering from severe blunt force trauma and multiple fractures.”
Oh god. Reminds me of the Dunkey video on game critics. "Makes you feel eerily like Batman-, the player really feel like Batman-, Could not look or feel more Batman, Made us feel like we were- feel more Batman. IGN what did you think?" "Arkahm Asylum makes you feel like you're Batman."
I’ve always said this game plays like a Batman game should. Ignoring the overdone bat mobile moments. The gameplay of you being the dark knight throughout the city do make you feel like Batman
Harley: "Don't worry, Mista J! That stupid bat won't get pass me." Joker: "Um...Harley." Harley: "I can smell that stickin' batsuit of his from Metropolis. I can spot him all the way from Central City. I can tell you that..." *she sees the frown on Joker’s face on the TV screen and sweats* Harley: "...that he's...right...behind me, isn't he?"
I just love how he slowly turns around, and only panics once Batman enters his field of view. It's a small touch, but it truly elevates the moment into comedy gold.
I agree with you. Also, this is one of the reasons why arkham series can make you feel like Batman, these vivid dialogues and entire atmosphere contribute to this.
@@Freeandwild yeah, it almost become natural to me to make the last guy standing complety afraid of me before i taking him down. besides if i am not mistaking you can actually make the enemies faint if you scare them for a long period of time.
What would be really sweet is if the game let you get the guard’s attention, and in the brief moment he looks down to chamber his gun you vanish, like whenever Batman’s talking to Gordon.
@@slashyslasher1248 That’s why he said "when the goon looks down for a second." That’s fear incarnate, because then you have no idea if you really saw Batman, or if it was just your imagination, right up until you get yanked upwards and knocked the fuck out by the Goddamned Batman.
My favourite thing was getting down to one soldier then using the remote batarangs to crash into nearby walls to terrify the hell out of them to the point when even the Milita shout; "Please stop!" In fear.
Me: *joins militia to make ends meet* My Boss: *gives me cool tech that locates the batman* Me: *chilling at outpost* Batman: *beats up all my buddies* Me: Oh yeah i have that thing to locate batman Batman: *stands behind me* Me: *looks at locator* Batman: ........... Me: *starts ugly crying*
*Signal indicates Batman is right behind me.* Me: Huh. Thing must be broken. If Batman were right behind me, I'd probably be wishing I were dead, right? Also me: *too scared to turn around.*
@@shadowking773City is better, cause it has better plot, especially the ending. It always makes me emotional when Batman tells the Joker he would have saved him anyway. Arkham Knight improved the gameplay, that's for sure, but there's too much of a Batmobile to me, plus the Riddle trophies are very exhausting to get. I did it once and shall never try it again. My final score for all three games: Asylum 9/10 City 10/10 Knight 8/10
1:26 AK: Stay calm! He wants you to panic! *meanwhile the militia's getting his clothes folded while he's wearing them* That just radiates the same energy as "Don't look it in the eyes! That just makes it angrier!" While getting mauled by a gorilla
If I was one of those thugs with the detective mode tracker and it told he's behind me, I'll just drop my gun without saying anything and walk away without looking back.
Reminds me of a cartoon where a thug heared some nose in a room, opens door and sees Batman. After a moment of silence just closes the door, and when other thug asked "is anything wrong" he was like "nope all is good"
I’ve played this game multiple times over the last 6 years, and I never knew you could use the disruptor twice on an enemy’s firearm to cause it to explode. Very cool!
I love how this game showcases how Batman takes out criminals. If there were a real man who could do all the things he could do criminals would be rightfully terrified. I'd personally just drop my weapons and get on the ground the INSTANT I heard Batman was on the scene.
Honestly would have liked to see an alternative reaction animation for this situation where the milita thug just freezes up for a moment in fear after slowly looking behind him before snapping out of it and going for his gun. Different people handle fear in different ways, especially when you know what’s coming and you are dreading it, hoping it isn’t true, but then it is.
Done something like this in Dishonored 2. Just stood behind a guard until he turned around and then knock him out. Worth sacrificing 'Ghostly' just to punch a guard in the face. XD
I love those little details I like doing that and leading them underneath a vantage point and waiting for them to realize where I'm at it's always so funny 🤣
Batman is right behind me, my turret isn't working, my gun isn't working, and I'm getting my teeth punched in by him. My boss: "Stay focused, he wants you to panic!"
When Bats is portrayed as intimidating, it's not because he's all dark and brooding. It's because by the time you're motivated at all to fight him, he's already a million steps ahead of you. You say to yourself "How the hell am I supposed to stand a chance against this guy, when he'll probably already beat the crap out of me before I can even finish this sentenc- . . . . . . . ."
Batman doesn't kill people. He does something worse than killing; terrifying people to extreme and then beating crap out of them leaving them physically and mentally ill
The thug tries to run after having his gun jammed and is getting the absolute snot beaten outta him and the knight has audacity to say "stay focused! He wants you to panic!!"
My favorite one is in Arkham City, when two thugs are talking about not being scared of Batman. One of them says to the other, “Well today’s your lucky day. He’s right behind you.” I was.
Imagine being one of the guards.knowing batman is already in the area but not knowing he is right behind you ready to snap your neck then you turn around seeing a shadowy figure with horns and cape knowing your time has come.
The challenge rooms were some of my favorite parts of the Arkham games. Arkham Asylum remains my favorite since you have Joker and his caustic commentary, especially in that underground sewer and the entry tunnel room with the walkways.
This is cool, Im playing thru this game again right now and never have seen this before. This game is so detailed, somehow keeps getting more and more impressive as time goes on for me. Still the most impressive looking city iv seen in a game, graphics, combat, story, it all came together so well in this game.
This was my favorite thing to do with the good who could track my detective vision. I always imagine how I would shit myself if I tracked Batman and realized he was right behind me. That is like the ultimate fear.
In one of the Arkham Asylum stealth missions in the botannical gardens you can almost stand in front of the first thug you see without him noticing you.
