To be honest with you right now I don’t get how she could love him. I personally still haven’t forgiven him for killing Jeremy. I am interested to see how they come together.

damon and elena and all the characters in this show are complex damon doesn't just have a bad side, he has a good side and is caring as well and this why stefan now is warming up to his brother being around more because he knows him and has already seen him (damon) trying to do better though people will say elena is 'ruining their brother bond' elena was what kept both of them around to even try to work things out in the first place as far as the jeremy thing goes, all this stuff happens and goes by with every character last season stefan went off the rails, caroline just killed a guy this season so at least jeremy is still alive and yes, i get elena is still a bit upset with it at this point and it's understandable but if damon can literally kill alaric and they bff it up jeremy isn't as bad lol too much stuff happens in this show tbh so they just move on (for the most part)

There is a difference between killing Alaric and killing Jeremy. Jeremy Elena's brother and Damon did it after Kathrine messed with his head, so it was just out of his recklessness Whereas killing Alaric was because he wanted to annoy the man, plus Alaric tried to kill Damon for killing his wife. Plus at the time Elena and Alaric weren't really interacting. It's like comparing apples and oranges there. As for Stefan and Caroline. Stefan was dealing with an addiction to human blood. Caroline didn't know what was happening to her so she couldn't control it. Maybe they will do something in the future that will get me mad at them, but right now it's not so bad. Stefan wants to see the good in Damon and I will admit that Damon is trying to do better now. I have not heard anyone say Elena is ruining their brotherly bond. Or at least not yet. But honestly, when brothers fight over a girl or sisters fight over a guy it messes with the sibling bond. Writers are always going to write it that way. There are very few who do that, but it's a common trope.

@@MeghansReactions You will find this mode of argument quite a lot when going thru your reactions to the show, the attempts to justify or minimize something that happen or what characters do with arguments filled with moral relativism and false equivalences... The reality is that you are right: at this point none of the others have done anything anywhere near to the things Damon has done, not in quantity, quality or context; and like you said, if in the future the others characters do something then you will get to judge that on it's merits: what they did, why they did it, context, etc... And some actions or behaviors, while still being bad by any measure, are going to come out seemingly better than others. And the fact that some characters are "able" to move on from certain things done doesn't mean that the fact that they are 'getting pass it' it's not something that can be criticized... Elena being able to 'move on' from what Damon did to Jeremy, whether it is sooner or later (specially if it's sooner) it's something open to criticism; Elena (and others) seem to have forgotten about the things Damon did to Caroline, that is something open to much criticism as well; etc. etc. etc.

That he has. I mention it in another video but he’s the reason I wanted to watch the Originals, but decided to start with TVD first.

I also cut out important Stefan and Elena scenes as well. It’s not to be mean or to do it on purpose. As I have stated it because of the music in the background. If it’s to loud I wait until it’s over or speak out the end about it.

It’s also very hard to do that with the way I film. I would end up losing dialog and it wouldn’t work. I can try and pause the video and comment after the scene airs, but it would still cut out most of the show if there is music.

Will admit I have been hating on Kathrine a bit more the Damon in the last few episodes. I’m not to the point of liking Damon yet, but Kathrine is getting my hate right now. I will also admit that Damon is trying to do better. I do see that. We’ll see what happens. Also really excited to see the Originals. Daniel who plays Elijah is the reason I wanted to watch The Originals so kind of excited he’s the first one we see. Excited to see more, but for some reason thought they showed up closer to when The Originals series was created.

I’m sorry you feel that way. Not sure what you consider to be the most important scene of the episode. Unless it’s the end with Damon and Elena, then it’s music related. If it’s not that then what scene?
