To all of the language learners starting at 30+: Steve Kaufmann is a language learning guru. He is over 70 years old and he has been vocal about learning more languages after 50 years old than before 50. Take your time. Have fun doing this. Don't give up. The UrbanEve channel is a gem. Perfect listening practice and very encouraging.

I’m so happy I learnt Spanish 😭 (on & off for 4 years) because the cc is not in English (youtube mobile - I’m listening without cc). Hopefully I will be able to write in Spanish, my grammar is rubbish 😭 Learning languages opens up your mind & it’s so useful 🥰it bridges gaps, take a chance. I’m still learning but I’m proud of my brain, with repetition & discipline, you can speak any language! I love your page! 💗💗thanks for this interview.

I’m from Middle East i speak Arabic as a first language and i speak British English as second language and i speak Spanish as third language i understand pretty much Spanish i’m not in a bad level but kind good i’m still 16 year’s old i’m still going forward i’m in love in learning European languages.

I do wish I started learning languages at a young age, especially since I was into non English bands (tokio hotel). But language learning and learning in general has no age limit! 26 and learning Spanish!

Yes, you can clearly see with Martin that language learning has no age! He only spoke Spanish and started learning English, German, Portuguese, and French at 30. You can definitely do it! And btw ou can still learn German with Toko Hotel songs😃

I am italian mother tongue and fluent in english. I Do speak some spanish too but I would not consider my self fluent. I was amazed to find out that I understood every single word in this video. I would love to learn more languages, it's not impossible when you are in your 30's or older but it's much harder than when you are in your teens or 20's. Much harder to move to a different country and learn thir language when you are older. Very good video, keep up the good work!

Se te comprende perfectamente, pero es aislado, no isolado, y en tu caso, aislada (sinònimos para el contexto que en cual lo utilizas: solo, apartado, separado). Supongo que arrastra ese defecto porque en ingles es isolated, incluso en français es isolée. Buena entrevista .

Sí, lo sé! Es que en portugués es isolado y a veces me confundo con el portugués cuando hablo español sin darme cuenta:)

Me alegro que lo supieras. Esa es la razón por la cual nunca he querido aprender portugués, porque luego arrastras muchas faltas ortográficas y de expresión oral. Por ejemplo yo utilizaba la palabra" higido" que es portuguesa la cual significa "sano, saludable" pensando que era correcta en español y como sonaba bonita la utilizaba, y posteriormente descubro que no exite en la RAE. Bueno, saludos y mucha suerte con tu canal y tu español.
