Someone asked Dan about his tears in this song. His response was “Not all tears are of sadness but rather the struggle that leads to the light.” The song is about battling depression and coming out the other side. Dan had his own battle with depression and beat it.
I’ve noticed that when Dan closes his eyes while singing, he’s getting emotional and usually tearing up. He gives his everything to each song. That’s what makes him so good.
This is one of Dan's must see covers! I believe this song is from Lord of the Rings. The gist of the song is a dying (person?) recounts wrongs committed in his life that may damn his soul, so, he is pleading for the angels to save him. In the end he says, thank you angels, I am now reborn. this may be my last breath and my final day. I'm the son of pain. At the very end he says, I deny hells Flames! It's a glorious tale of redemption!
Dan battled depression for a couple of years and through his therapy, music and his religion he beat it. And for that we all are thankful. Love your reactions to Dan.
This song shows off the versatility of Dan’s vocal range to perfection, a truly emotional and powerful performance. He has so many different types of songs that he covers and everything he sings is unique in its own way. Loved your reaction and thank you for sharing, see you on the next one. : )
This performance by Dan was gut wrenching and yet somehow so beautiful. He puts everything into his music and the results are so incredible. Thanks again.
thanks for your reaction.........Dan is a musical chameleon IMO.......Dan said not all tears come from sadness.......this is the victory over depression ❤
Such a heartfelt rendition by Dan!❤❤ This is absolutely beautiful! Dan has so many timbres to his voice and that's something that also makes him a "cut above the rest" imo. Thankyou and looking forward to more Dan reactions😃
I have to say, you remind me of my grandson! Kudos to you for reacting to Dan Vasc . He is amazing and I enjoy everything Dan sings and I hope you keep on doing you also. ❤👍
Thank you for your amazing reactions to Dan Vasc. I love every one that you do. I love when you get excited and I see that you truly appreciate Dan’s many vocals and layers. By now you have probably read in the comments that this song is very special to Dan. He struggled very hard with depression for a couple years and thru his music, his very close friend and his faith, he was able to work thru it and come out the other side a much stronger man for it. I know that even thru your excitement, you always go back and you pick up on everything Dan is doing with his songs. You don’t miss much. I appreciate that. Super Dantastic and I will continue listening to all of your reviews. Thank you.
Thank you for watching! Yes I know I tend to get super excited and I've had some people complain about it but I do really try my best to catch everything from his vocals to his composure and the emotions he's showing also thanks for the information I have been told about his fight with depression.
It's your channel and of course you shape your reactions as you see fit and in your own way. If you like it, you stay or you go. I'm not staying. I recognize that you appreciate Dan and his performance. Nevertheless, I would like to share my thoughts in a nice way: I was wondering why you fidget so much to a quiet song. I find the constant interruptions and constant interruptions into the song very unfortunate. I'm always very happy when a reactor not only listens carefully, but also watches carefully. Especially with Dan it's worth it. He speaks with his voice and his body.
I constantly talk about his performance as well as composure and vocals. I'm an energetic person, so when he does something good, I'm gonna start jumping and moving a lot. I appreciate you keeping it respectful. I thought I would give my side as well. Reactors have to pause a good amount, or else the reaction isn't deemed "Transformative Content"
You can listen more intently to the words and his singing by sitting and forget about going on with your theatrics. I'm sure we will notice your intent to really go with the song just with your honest facial expressions. And comments.
