R9 is a sweetheart, nobody could ever hate him, he has always been incredibly humble on and off the pitch, never showed the slightest of arrogance even when he was the best, a very very big difference in that matter compared to you know who, (they share the same name).😅
are we talking about the same guy that made young teammates smoke and drink with him and ffff shemales ? are we talking about the guy who never trained hard and never took care of his body ? football fans arent that smart
@MetapodUsedHarden9 Definitely if we are talking about prime it’s him and Messi. Of course pele and maradona and zidane too and maybe cr7 but some of them are in a different era with less skill and if we are talking prime of skill alone, it’s r9 and Messi
Thank you. People will always say “oh Messi and CR7 are the greatest, look at their impact”, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho had the same, or relativity greater impact, before the social media era.
I dont think so, Ronaldo achieved so much with the time he had, he already cemented at the top of with the very best of all time. Ronaldo had everything. Gonna be a while before we see a player who combine strength and technique like he did
The OG Ronny is the best most natural player to ever play the game for me. PSV to Barca to Inter were the pinnacle of a football player. The only opposition player to get a standing ovation at OT if I’m not mistaken.
@@ItsShahed17 he is better than messi he has more package than messi more talent than messi can use both feet stronger faster r9 was like messi and mbappe in same person.
It always depends on what we define as best. Prime R9 is the best striker ever. The problem is that he just didn't have the same longevity as Messi and Ronaldo.
Haaland is not on Mbappes level and that's not to discredit what he's accomplished but Mbappe at this point is in a league of his own the only player that can come close is Jude and that's if he wins a World Cup which I think he can facts are Mbappe is just more fun to watch he's a more creative player than Haaland and overall knows how to entertain a crowd Haaland is boring to watch yes he can score goals but he's just not very exciting to watch on the pitch
*Messi got Ballon d'Or bcz Brazil doesn't produce the player like this anymore* ( KAKA, CAFU, ROMARIO, RONALDO, RONALDINHO, BEBETO, ROBERTO CARLOS, DUNGA, DENILSON...
The brilliant Ronaldo. I remember him well as a player. Especially his impact on the game across 1996-99. Shame those injuries stopped all his *_total_* potential's. In terms of controlling a moving ball on the ground. Only Maradona & Messi were better. South Americans just seem to have that extra gear of ball control magic.
It’s as if the ball is velcroed to their feet. Even Ronaldinho falls a little short, but even then, he was magic at this too … including his later years at Milan-the 2011-2012 squad was ridiculous-Ambrosini and Maldini, Seedorf, and a young Thiago Silva too. Oh and Ronaldinho 🎉
Please don't disrespect by comparing him to Messi... He dribbled a lot vs aggressive players and world class defenders.. Only Maradona can be compared to R9
No man bruda. We love all three. Messi can definitely be called the GOAT. He's done enough. He's not my GOAT, but you can't be mad at anyone who views him that way.
If Mbappe goes Real Madrid. Barcelona will go for Haaland but Man City are becoming giants now in Europe with a lot of money backing them so he might not see the point moving other than his boyhood dream to play in a El Classico
& in recent years we’ve seen how following your boyhood dream to play for certain clubs can be misleading & hinder your career. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side. Sometimes you’re better off where you are at the moment. For example Man Utd lol. The young players forget the state of the club while they were growing up isn’t the same condition it is in today. Don’t get drawn in & lost in a club’s history, judge them by where they are now or look at the project & structure that is in place!
@@ModernFootball866peak of Messi won nothing when Xavi Iniesta left... R9 peaked by winning with barca winning ballon d or at 20!..the carried Brasil to WC years later... Messi can never do that.. Needs Xavi Iniesta or penalties
@@MetapodUsedHarden9 Do you even realize that everything you said is factually wrong? Barca won still trophies without Xavi and Iniesta. Anyways, trophies don't matter. We are talking about INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE. Do you understand what this is? Peak Messi was individually clearly a better player than CR7, R9 etc at their peaks and the stats are proving it. It's not even close
