I expected this anime to be a little weird but it seriously made me cry the way Yoshida stepped up and took care of her was really amazing

Honestly, it was such a good anime. Didnt expect it to hit me in the feels as hard as it did.

Ahh the difference in Japanese and Western cultures. In Japan a girl already knows basic household maintenence. In America you're luck to get instant mashed potatoes from a teenager. 😂

Even though the idea of a stranger letting a runaway teenager stay with them is considered shady, People like Yoshida are pretty rare. Because you know even these days absolutely nobody would let a random person live in their home, let alone a runaway teenager, And they especially would not do it out of the goodness of their hearts usually there's always a shady agenda behind it.

I really enjoyed this anime but wished we got one more episode to see what happens with the two of them. Its no Toradora, Kaguya-sama or My Dress Up Darling but its up there for one of my favorite slice of life animes. Would highly recommend watching it.

Good job, love this anime - but I think you got the ending slightly wrong. It has been at least a year since they parted as the closing credits show her graduating from high school having repeated her final year. In the post credit scene she specifically isn't wearing her school uniform under the lamp post - she is now on the way the becoming the fully fledged member of society and although she does now have a home with her family she has come back to try to win him over (she would be probably now be 19 yo - 17 when they met, together 6 months+, repeat a year, come back). This is just interpreting the anime, I haven't read the manga.

This is just so wholesome. Nice change of pace.

Higehiro was a good story. But like almost every pseudo-anime made today they're only good enough to watch one time. The few Anime still released are like all Anime. They create a desire to watch it again and again in the future.

Lol, all that roundabout drama only for this anime to come full circle by the end there. 😅 But I'm kinda surprised there wasn't much romantic development between Yoshida and Goro in this anime. I was hoping there'd be more scenes between the two of them, considering Goro is the only woman Yoshida likes romantically. *sigh...* Got my hopes up for nothing.

This breaks my heart and pi$$es me off. I've experienced stuff like this. I was in no position to help but i did what i could for them. For example, I stay with my mom and her sister and my siblings and cousin. So I have a couch and that's it. No room right? Anyway after my huge break up that sent me spiraling down the path I'm coming back from. I got mad when I heard my ex might be dating. So I tried, and connected with a girl that used to talk to me when I rode the school bus. She didnt have anywhere to go come to find out, and I ended up helping her by letting her stay the night. After I helped her by taking her to her friends house, since I had no say in the matter of her staying. Yes we slept together, but I told her it was her choice. That she could stay either way, but she began making advances. So I didnt stop her. Anyway, I paid for that trust me. Antibiotics and shame. I stopped talking to her after that. I still remember listening to how she used to do what this girl did in Dallas. Some of her bad experiences, which is why I ended up giving in and sleeping with her, unprotected. I was sad, she made me sadder and wanting to feel loved again. Also to show her how a gentleman takes care of his girl. I had planned to make her my gf at the time. I took her out to eat and bought her things she needed. I was much better off back then. Anyway, didnt work out that way. Another time I got offered acts for product I was moving. I couldnt accept because I was so hurt at the thought of this poor girl having to do that to be ok for a while. I helped her for free. Then another girl offered pics to me for 20 bucks. I refused, one because I wasnt going to make her do that. Two because I didnt have it at the time. I wouldve just gave her the money. I'm telling you. As soon as I can get back on my feet. I plan of making it my business to help poor girls like that. The good man that's left in me cant stand to see a female suffer. Maybe something good will come out of it for me. This anime really hits home with me. I need to watch it. Lol. Even though I am writing 2 myself right now. Wow. Sorry for the freaking book. I didnt mean to go on like that. This just got my blood going, I guess. Hit too close to home.

What’s this anime called again, “all the shittiest traits humans have”? Everyone seems pretty damn shallow and I’m only 10 min into the video

I’m sorry, I REALLY don’t like anime like this. It especially hurts, because I know girls who have been sexually assaulted in this way, BECAUSE of the comfortable relationship they had with men they thought they could trust in the beginning. It tries to come off as “man saves little girl from the big bad world and becomes the father/brother she never had,” but it ignores how much decent men fear such a suspicious and dangerous situation. In real life, no good man would feel ok with keeping an innocent teenage girl in there house for so long, risk all there YEARS of hard work and career-building and good reputation to then be judged as a pervert/pedophile. ESPECIALLY in Japan. He might have let her stay a few days out of sympathy, but even that is pushing reality. He could’ve sought outside help to put her in a safer living situation. AND NOT risk catching feelings for a minor, or vice versa. This poor girl has been used and abused, the last thing she needed was to become more desensitized to such an inappropriate living situation. And I hate how they try to make Yaguchi a slightly good guy, but he just wants another opportunity to get her alone. Also, a real r@pist wouldn’t be so honest about what he did and risk going to jail, he would play it off as, “the girl invited me into her house and played hard to get, so I tried to seduce and persuade her.” Guys like that get away with sexual assault when they phrase it as if he didn’t coerce or force the woman. Sorry, I get the main message, there are genuinely good men who want to help disadvantaged women, but it seriously stretched reality and was so poorly executed and hits wayyy too close to home for me.
