i'm a lucid dreamer, so i get to let my dreams play out or control what's going to happen. usually i'll just let them play out, but if i die or something bad happens, then i'll rewind it and change what happened. it's really like being neo in the matrix since i can manipulate everything. i can fly, run faster, slow things down, etc. what i find crazy is people who don't dream at all.

@6:55 I think the most predominant theory around why we dream what we do is to “prepare” you for similar situations you may face in real life. They can be good, bad, realistic, unrealistic, but the science leans towards the idea that dreams are almost like a “safe practice run” for you to deal with various situations in real life.

so the cool/weird thing about dreams is that when we sleep our brains dont shut off so technically we dream every single time we sleep but we dont always remember the dream. the fact that you remembered that dream could mean something... you said you've never seen this person twice in your life, you got into a confrontation with him, also he had tattoos on his face ( which for some people is a cool thing or a pretty lame thing) and you saved his life. maybe you are becoming someone or something you wouldve never thought or you just needed to be reminded that you are a good person

They have no meaning, what so ever, just a movie your brain shows you using people and places that you have directly or indirectly come into contact with to keep you busy while it regulates your body and rests/heals while you sleep.

I do appreciate you explaining your moves, tactics, thoughts etc while playing. I just started playing 5 and I’m trying to get better so hearing a pro explain his moves really helps

Dreams are an interesting subject. On 1 hand it could be mixture of memories like I've had a dream about a person I've never met but maybes could of seen at some point or another and never realised. On the other hand it could be your subconscious saying something (while your unconscious) like I've had a couple of dreams like running really slowly away from a t rex (lol) for example or teeth falling out. It could be a bit of both and the subconscious being imaginative, food for thought

What I also love about this game is exclusive interactions between characters. Also, about the dreams and nightmares, I'm neutral to them. Don't really care too much about mine. Even if I have good ones.

I believe some dreams do have meaning and some are just experiences that doesn't need to be looked into that deep.

Dreams are just influenced by your experiences. I don't believe in any spiritual nonsense like dreams having some deep meaning as if an outside force is trying to tell you to change your destiny lmao. I agree that usually dreams are influenced by something you experienced recently. Nightmares are usually one of your phobias or traumas. As stupid as this might sound, around 4yrs old I started having the exact same nightmare every night for what seemed like 2-3 years about being locked in my room and some giant cats eye staring at me through the window and no matter where I tried to hide it would know where I was. There was more to it but I'll stop there lol. I had that nightmare because I used to be locked into my room at night.

Yess I believe nightmares have meaning I had a few dreams I was being mauled by a mountain lion and last Friday I was walking home from work and little kid was being attacked by a pit bull and cause I kinda fought a mountain lion in my dream. I was like I can take on a pit bull so I had to stop that pit bull from getting that kid

I feel like every f*cking control match I play in Gears is like the first one in this video: team mates playing for 3-14, team mates dropping from the match, team mates without any tactical awareness or even some basic human intelligence... My own team makes me rage in this game way more often than the rival team. And dude, you don't have to be a super skilled wall bounce beast like many Gears youtubers around here, but at least try not to be a complete jackass if you are playing ranked matches.

The chunk at 22:14 was so BS. I imagine it's because there is a delay on frames when you roll in any direction (just an educated guess) Because you rolled away from the shot it looked like you were further away but your frames were catching up to your position. Total BS still. A similar thing used to happen on cod advanced warfare when people would boost behind walls or cover, that's why sometimes it used to look like you got shot round a wall when you would boost to cover while being 1 shot. Not much you can do about it tbh. That is so situational though. You play 1000 times and that would probably never happen like that. So unlucky tbh.
