That was a lie she told. In truth Lily has always been a massive bully to her brother, and finds it hard to accept he's famous now like she is. She made a song about him called Alfie when they were younger, basically ripping on him and calling him a loser with an humiliating video as well. Google it, she is the meanest person ever..

RIP Yoren

Yoren was a real one. In the books, Arya was initially pretty sketched out and disgusted by him because of his haggard appearance. Onscreen, they cast a rather unkempt and gruff fellow, but he's ultimately pretty normal. In the books, he'd likely frighten most children, and even some adults. He even smells terrible, and has a lice problem. He was whole ass mess. As a Northern child, Arya grew up on stories of the Night's Watch, and had the assumption that they were as dignified in appearance as their profession once was. She basically thought that the men of the Night's Watch were cool and noble looking, like her uncle Benjen, and later, her favorite brother, Jon. Unfortunately, the majority of the Night's Watch is composed of a VERY unsavory lot, and Yoren's tasked with rounding them up for recruitment. But, he went and proved that looks are deceiving. The man's a hero through and through--loyal and selfless when he really didn't have to be. I freaking love how the series went "Don't judge a book by its cover" in the most metal of ways.

This, 200%. Poor Theon was gone for so long, that he forgot his audience and did NOT know how to read the blessed room. I don't blame him for that, because he was a hostage/ward/whatever and all... But my goodness, he really could have picked up a book and read about the fashion/social customs of Ironborn. He thought that by showing up in his finest--what he *thinks* a Prince should be--that it would mean something there. It did not, and backfired horribly. His excessively fancy clothes were a reflection of how important he thought he was, just because of his father's Kingly status. In the Northern Mainland, he would have been as dashing as he thought he looked. But to his fellow Ironborn, he looked like a joke. From their perspective, the hated Starks took the living son of Baelon Greyjoy, and returned him as a pompous, fancy doll of a man. What a GREAT start!

@@thatoneblackdude3333 I beg to differ, unfortunately... They were both great and mad at turns, for sure--and unlike any noble house. But with all the infighting halfway through their reign and until the end of it, it was just awful. Any family can fight amongst themselves, but they took it too far by getting dragons--a highly intelligent and rare species--involved. Their own sigil and source of power began to dwindle. By the time they kept killing eachother, shrinking down in size (both for themselves, and their dragons), and even going extinct (again, for themselves and their dragons), they were just like the rest. In 300 years, only two remained--while the other noble houses continued to thrive. They wholeheartedly *lived* in fire and blood, and burned themselves out in petty decline. But, Targs like Jaehaerys and Alysanne saw another path, and lived it well. That's why they are so special, and remembered fondly. It's funny, because there's the infamous "50-50 chance for Targs to either be great or mad", but it always felt like an 80-20 chance to me.

@@KindredKeepsake you did a lot of yapping that ultimately wasn't saying anything, on what basis do you say it's more like 80% mad most Targaryens were normal and most kings were good and not crazy feels like there's some bias involved in your thinking, also westaros is literally in the middle of one of its worst wars and multiple houses are ether dead or dying so what does that say about them ?
