As a filmmaker with my own production company, it's easy to just tell you how to get clients BUT I wanted to transform the life of a complete stranger.
That's why I went on the hunt to find a videographer and give them an opportunity of a lifetime, cash from my own pocket and guidance on how to start a video production company. Essentially setting them up with a business model that will continue to generate income after we stopped recording.
When I started my videography business, initially as a freelancer, I took the standard route of at first offering wedding videography and then corporate videos before I started to lean into the creative world of cinematography.
The only problem was there was no one to guide me around the challenges I faced and show me simple things like how to find your niche or tell me what prices I should use.
It's because of this experience I want help as many videographers and filmmakers understand how to navigate the business side of filmmaking and learn how to start a video production company.
In this video we help Josh invest the £500 we gave him to buy more camera gear and we set him up with his very own production company and business model that he can rinse and repeat, so that he can make a living doing what he loves and become a fulltime filmmaker.

Super valueable man, i literally got all the way up to the point of being ready to begin the marketing phase of my business when i found your channel, i was looking to brush up on some sales advice before i made a big push... then i come across this guy who literally teaches sales specific for video production studios like what are the odds! My problem is that I live in a fairly rural area. There are a number of small to medium size towns, all within about 30 to 45 minutes from me in any direction. In a way, I think that could be a big advantage, if I could find a good location to build a studio eventually. Living about 2 hours from Atlanta, Ga., which is quickly becoming the Hollywood of the South, minus a lot of their insanity, means there are a lot of production services spreading out from there. I just don't know.

EF lenses work fine on EF-S mounts, what was wrong on 29:41?

Oke this video. What a lot of mistakes. In the end you try to put the L EF 24 105 f4 on the APS-C camera. And you say it doesn't fit. This is so not true, full frame don't fit EF-S, not the other way around. My goodness, why is RU-vid full of scam. You lost a follower here ;)

To be fair to me, it didn't go on, maybe it was the baseplate/ tripod stopping it but equally I'm not familiar with josh camera and my reaction was "oh this expensive lens must not fit on the cheaper cameras" 😂 sorry the channel doesn't provide enough value for you 😞

It's easy for you to go around and call people scammers from behind your keyboard. If you took one minute to look into any of the training Ross provides and how many people Perspective Academy helps and supports you would never make such an imprudent comment. Amazing video
