@Jaz More inside zone runs when he kept blitzing from the edge would’ve slowed down his momentum. You kept throwing and got frustrated . You even did a play action a couple times when he kept blitzing from the edge. You could’ve beat him just had to adjust & slow the game down. You so use to big plays, those big plays need time. naw no lie this is true but most folks lab up their blitzing so much and live and die by it, you just have to know how to beat it. I went on a 6 game losing streak to folks blitzing me and i was in my feelings and raging until i stepped away and started using my head and just going with what the defense gives you. Dude wanna blitz hit with quick passes and runs that beat the blitz until he gets out of that defense. after that i went on my winning streak. This game ain't nothing but strategy. you use your head, keep calm and work the strategy you will win majority of games.
That's what I love about Madden is the strategy aspect. Playing an aggressive opponent can be frustrating but that's why they do it cause they probably overwhelm alot of players. Blocking,man beating routes,quick routes with 1 or 2 reads in case they try to bait you and bring their defender into coverage and a good running game and sometimes being lucky. I like putting my rb in a flat and my TE in a corner route but there are many things that can work against an aggressive opponent.
Mid blitz counters. Run right up the middle (the defenders are lbs not dl) Run double TE packages and max protect and iso your receivers in single coverage (zigs, drags, slants, corner routes) Tight formation with hb hard flare up the field kills it because most times the db cant get to the edge fast enough.
Gun tight has everything you need, and with how bad madden is this year if they give you a 0 look then all you got to do is high ball everything or even switch it up and run pa boot over with a te drag and rb wheel those formations are amazing and gun tight is meta
Run the ball against that look. Also, attack the safeties. They’re in 1-On-1’s vs your receivers. Try not throw deep so much against the blitz. Instead try to quickly get the ball to the area vacated by the blitzes. Pressure can be irritating to face, but it’s very easy to beat. Good luck the rest of the way!! 💯💯💯
That's how you beat that coverage by throwing deep because it's easy to Agg and break the Safeties tackles for automatic touchdowns. I was running that same coverage until players started throwing deep on every play

This is how I do my drives: Pass Run Pass Pass Run Pass Run Pass Run On my 4th & 5th pass attempt, I run screen pass to the RB twice (Run Heavy playbook is good for this as it has about 5 or 6 formation looks for the screen pass to the RB, so it won’t look as if you running the same thing) Hope this helps
You had Michael Thomas running that drag route a lot and he almost always got open but you never took it. He had a lot of room to run on that first pick.
Send your TEs to the seams and quick pass to them. Throw to your running backs. The linebackers would be the ones guarding them. When they blitz the RBs, FBs, and TEs are gonna be wide open.
Inside zone runs will usually stop that middle blitz. On top of that shift your blocking to pinch instead of being aggressive so you can have a double team on the middle linebacker and they cannot jam you up inside. I know I don’t play predominantly madden but I play a lot of college football and it’s essentially almost the same ideas let me know if it works for you. Hope your having a great start to the weeks.
You can beat Mid Blitz pretty easily because it leaves your dbs one on one with the receivers. If the receiver Aggs or breaks the tackle it's an automatic touchdown.
Exactly why I don’t touch 23 madden .. got 2 secs to throw the ball …… they got 4th streams blixxin like they starters…also the way they got 23 madden set up,you gonna break a lot of controls….tapping buttons,hit stick,you’ll see
99% of the ppl who are blitz happy really have no game. They find the cheese cuz somebody recommended it and everyone then uses it consistently. These days most Madden players are clones. On offense and defense. I try to be original at all times and find my own lane. Hate playing clones. That’s why H2H especially is so watered down.

@@DoctorRickSanchez That doesn't matter. Step up in the pocket behind your blockers and block your running back. MAYBE slide your protection if they slide their line. Stand behind the center and guards. They dont get to you like that.
She gotta use bump and run with her zone coverage outside runs/screens kill mid blitz if you can get outside. Swing pass to the back useful also. On defense disguise your shifts to mirror the strong side which ever side the back/TE/ or fullback is on always play the space on the field. I always show blitz they never know what’s coming. Bring your safety’s closer to the line backers to or to the open spaces in defense. If I can force a player to throw where they dont want to yardage is minimal and turnover changes are higher. You got offense on 🔥🔥🔥🔥
U can't hold da ball long. Ball gotta b out within 3 seconds. N if he's pressing n da mid blitz u can bomb it n user catch it. N try not too drop back more with yo qb. Ball shud b out after back foot land.
That dude was beating the lace front off yo ass! The problem isn't the Saints it you're playing slower developing routes against a heavy rush. Pause at 11:45 and read the field. That defense should never beat you because it's telling you what's open from the rip. He's rushing 6 DT's, DE's and OLB's. You have 5 in the box the O-line so he has 1 free rusher at minimum if you don't assign the running back to pick him up. What does that tell you? You have to get the ball off quickly (short) because someone is coming free. Look at the secondary MLB is playing "zone\man". His assignment is man (the RB) but he's playing it like zone. The DB's are playing 10 yards off and on top of the receivers so Man meaning they are going to stay with their receivers once they hit 10 yards. Your problem is your RB is running a trail. Your TE is running a post and your receivers are running corners and streaks. All of those routes with the exception of the trial take too long to develop against a free rusher and the trail is being covered by the user. You have to hit him short and lock him into the defense with no huddle and force him to call off the blitz. The TE is the safety's responsibility but he's playing deep so easy money on curls and outs because the MLB has to play the trail. You can also create pockets by chipping of the DB's and forcing the MLB out the middle of the field by putting the RB on Texas, Wheel or Flats. You then open the slant route up. The key is completions and locking the defense into what they are doing until he's forced to audible out of the blitz because the MLB can't provide enough coverage and starts to cheat up or out and you band the middle.
I’ve found that on defense Washington has the fastest players in the game - their speed surprised the heck out of me for real and I lost couldn’t adapt to it
Two things I Cant stand playing people on madden, people that need to constantly blitz on defense and people that have to no huddle their whole drive on offense. So annoying. It’s funny that they actually think they are good doing that 😂 SMH
I’ll share this with you, spread playbook , it’s a formation with two Rb’s next to the QB. Zig route the slot wr and block both RB’s out outside wr on a streak. If you need help catching the deep ball let me know.
