After having watched TF2 content for years, now that I’ve actually started playing the game, it just hits different somehow. No longer being on the outside looking in, but actively participating in the insanity that is the community, is a weird but amazing feeling. Joining a 2Fort server that has been converted into an impromptu Heavy boxing ring. Playing peek-a-boo with a guy named “afraid of Mannhattan cone” by blocking and unblocking his line of sight to the aforementioned fear stimulus. Doing a group killbind, and seeing a confused F2P stare at your corpses before moving right along.
I feel the same. I watched TF2 (and GMod as well) content back when i was in primary scohol and now when i finally got my own PC in 2020 and start playing it for the first time ever it hits and feels very hard It is a shame and feel sad that i have not played it back in its glory days....
it's so interesting because to us this is hilarious but to anyone without intimate knowledge of the game and the weird systems of non-verbal communication and etiquette the community has built up around it it would be total visual gibberish.
Deciphering the mannerisms of this game's community is impossible, even as someone who's played this game for quite a bit, ever since Jungle Inferno dropped. It's like trying to figure out the Voynich Manuscript. You just can't decipher them, all you can do is play along.
You've hit that perfect ratio of edits in a vid, just the right amount, not too overdone and annoying like some I have seen are. Not to mention the edits are superbly funni, its a good all around video worth saving to a folder to watch again some time down the line Also a proper song like the original 4PM is always nice to hear
@@damsen978 that's the point, tf2 is such a silly game, even after one thousand hour in, people still having fun and do stupid stuff like they were just starting to play this game. and also one thousand hours is not really that much in tf2 community.
Nearly 2k hours in and I still find immeasurable joy in going Holiday Punch + Huo Long to tickle people and then medium roast them to the grave. I usually get one kill in about 30 minutes, but boy is it rewarding
Whenever hour conversations come up I always laugh, nearing 17k as of now lol. And then there are the AFKers, etc with like 50k+ hours (with the highest one nearing 90k), shit's insane
Times may change, but TF2 clip dumps will never get old. Also, thank you for bringing me back to my childhood with that Animal Crossing music. One of my favorite GameCube games.
As a 1500 hours tf2 user, I can tell y'all that I still cannot walk without moving in a straight line and missing a standing still heavy for whatever reason. Basically, I am kinda of a NOT big deal.
I love this videogame, and I have for a many great number of years. But playing casual matches and 2fort for that long... it really DOES something to a person.
I remelber a video from tylee where there is editing of a reflect double kill in 2fort tunnels with the Haru yo music on it, anyone remember in which video it is ?
