I think I see what's so poetic about this. People are miserable about their current life path, feeling like they have a stale purpose, and nothing matters anymore But then one twist of fate happens, you wake up in a new place and suddenly you now have a new purpose in life. Something you've been missing. But apparently, this guy just isn't getting it...

It appears to be an interesting series. Since mental health has a greater concern in North America, kinda wonder if this series will gain any traction. (The MC himself is based on a Japanese author with suicidal desires.)
Mental health in Japan is also of great concern. Just from a few things I have witnessed, Japanese really have a hard time going to mental health clinics.
Sigh, this has a web novel. The video is pretty much a perfect copy of the web novel itself, although the video down-plays exactly how dedicated he is to killing himself. And exactly how many methods he is always carrying around with himself at any one time.

People crave escapism in a broken world economy as they see no future for themselves. Videogame industry is not providing the required escapism due to it being infested with the new western ideology lecturing the players about them being bad and misogynistic so the only place left is books and anime. Thus the idea of escaping to another world where your life will automatically be better and you are awesome bely default is popular suddenly.

Truck-kun is a gogetter. It is important in life to have ambition and the will to see things through. Don't ever let someone outshine you in your field of expertise.
wtf every 2nd anime that is getting released have same plot and story summon to another world with no good ability until they found out he was overpowered
This anime is just no for me, it is bad enough that in rl there is so meny young people trying to delete them selfsame, and a anime had to be made about doing just that.
Funny enough, though, one of his main powers proves to be writing the stories of the other players before telling them that their stories aren't finished and that they need to go back and finish writing them, because who knows how they'll end, and sending them back to our world. One case that's most memorable are these two sisters: One was sick, and the other was forced to take care of her and felt invisible to her family, coming to resent her sister to a degree, even though she did love her. And, both wound up in this world. He wrote their story, reminded them that they loved each other, sent them back and the two were able to make amends and fix their broken relationship. The ultimate paradox: A guy with no desire to live encouraging others to fight for their lives........
The plot of truck-kun in this is crazy thou. OK I finished watching the recap. This anime is the worst type ntr I've seen. Like come on, my boy here has a lover, he even get motivated from his depressed life to find his lover.
