Today, Mickey is in the chair and he wanted a haircut that worked for thinning hair/a receding hairline after his boy said he "had a hairline like the McDonald's sign." Dan gave Mickey an age-appropriate classic mens haircut that worked for his hair.

I love how Dan spent seven minutes carefully explaining to Mickey and changing his original mind! During the process, Dan constantly introduced Mickey to products that are suitable for him! Perhaps his hair can regain its original thick feeling in the future, which is a happy thing! After Dan finished cutting, he pulled Mickey's hair upwards, and the whole hairstyle immediately felt more three-dimensional, which was amazing! This hairstyle looks so natural and suits Mickey very well. I almost forgot about his original hairstyle! Finally, I realized how handsome Mickey is! Thanks a lot for sharing, really super great job! 👍🤩👏👏👏

I love your videos! I cut my husband's hair (not a barber) and have gleaned so much insight since I started watching. Of course, I've only had his changing head of hair to focus on for the last 26 years. You are an artist! Your vision is so clear, and I am in awe. Your scissor work is an art, most barbers this days are good with fades since it's the most on demand haircut but they lack the scissor work experience. I hope one day I can get a proper scissor cut like you do!

Some of us DIYers are to some extent pressured into that role. I (female) cut my partner’s (male) hair. Been doing that for 10 years or more. I wouldn’t say I know how to cut hair, but I am getting a lot better (than I was when I started) at cutting his hair. Still, every time I do it I ask myself what one of my stylists would do to his hair and I would just adore getting Dan to style him. (There is no way I would ask him to do my hair, and I don’t think he would even if I did ask him. Post apocalyptic scenario, maybe! 😅) I do appreciate thinning hair and receding hairlines given more air time!
