I saw him on Tuesday and he sat on my row. He was so nice and helped with our seatbelts, I saw him going around again and again in the single rider line later on the day.
Congratulations Jon, 10,000+ rides is a huge testament to doing what you love and 400lb to Rebel Challenge is a great accomplishment. I’ve done runDisney races since 2013 and love all the success stories.
My wife and I met Jon yesterday (Dec. 25, 2019) while waiting for the park to open. He is over 12,000 times on Radiator Springs Racers and is currently working on Guardians of the Galaxy: Breakout! as well. A Disney legend.
This is what puts Disney Imagineering above the rest. The attention to detail that creates such unique and fun enviornments, they draw guests back like no other.
Disney is a real magic place. I can connect with this guy. When I picked up my first camera, it gave me the boost to talk to others and make friends. When i first went to Disney I was so thankful to enjoy it with my family.

I’ve seen him in line for Radiator Springs a few times. There’s still room for magic and wonder in this world and Disneyland is definitely where it happens.

bruh i stg he was on my ride when i went on it in august 2015, so crazy to see him in a disney video now, because i remember looking at him and he looked at me and he smiled so big and just looked like the happiest guy. So happy for him.
No joke, I went to Disneyland LAST MONTH, and I went on this ride twice.... I SAW THIS MAN IN LINE BOTH TIMES. I thought he was a weirdo at first... but then a month later this video popped up in my feed and it literally made my entire night.
I spent the entire video trying to figure out the math in my head for this one. I was hoping for some kind of explanation of how this was done. The ride opened in 2012 I think, so for the last 17 years, that would mean almost 600 rides a year, so around twice daily. But he was still working a job at the time? So when and how did he do a majority of these rides? Mostly slow days with back to back rides? Wouldn't the summer be super-busy requiring fastpass only, or did he wait in lines? And when did he spend time with his family or do other activities?
I went on Radiator Spring Racers on Monday for the first time. I walked to exit and when I looked back he was behind me! I got super excited and talked him. He was so nice to me :) Thank you, Jon!! Best wishes!!
That's why Disneyland will ALWAYS be in business. It's people like this that no matter how much the Annual Pass cost. They will always buy it. Disneyland is NOT just for kids. It's also for grownups that are kids at heart!

according to an on-ride video, this ride takes about 5 minutes and 10 seconds. Which is about 5.2 minutes, multiplied by 10750 means he has sit in one of these cars for a total of 55900 minutes. Which is 931 hours, or 38,8 days. The park is open from 8 to 10, which means the park is open for 14 hours a day. So we can come to the conclusion that he has been going to disney californa for a total of 67 days, everytime at the opening of the park sprinting to the radiator springs ride, and goes to sit in one of the cars, and rides it the entire day, without leaving the cars

Make another car for the ride, "gold-plated" looking and dedicate it to him. I remember the Dumbo ride had a golden dumbo on it back when I was a kid for the longest time. That would be super awesome.
Almost as impressive as Mean Streak Henry. I was 10 when they closed the ride, and probably didnt ride it more than 20 times. A guy that's pretty old (not sure how old) going on such a painful ride that many times is amazing.
I kept crying during this i love this so much this shows how alive and lovely the disney magic is and how it can seriously bring people together and i find that so absolutely beautiful and amazing and something thats helped me and Jon and so many people and thats so crazy amazing Congratulations Jon!
Just a heads up ALWAYS GET A FAST PASS! I’m a ap holder, always going to Disney. No joke the wait lines could go past a two hour wait for the cars ride it’s always super packed!😬 It’s a awesome ride!☺️
Congratulations John. I have ridden Radiator Springs Racers a thousand times the first year it opened. I know how you feel. I have had a Annual a Pass since April of 1983. Disneyland is my second house and family
Aw I love Jon! I always happen to see him during my visits to DCA. I point him out to my mom and I just get all giddy and excited wondering what ride number he’s on. I’m so shy to go up to him and talk, but it makes me happy to see him there 💕
