Who ever voiced Hop did a phenomenal job! I don’t fully understand what’s going on in this scenario but, as soon as Hop started crying I felt like crying and hugging him. That’s the power of great voice acting!

Damn that actually hits. Hop was the rival we've needed in a game for a long time. Someone that actually has a drive to compete and not just baby you the entire way through. Even though he just starts out the game in his brother's shadow, after not only managing to calm down and tame a legendary just as you had but a a much more difficult degree, he discovers his purpose in life and sets out to be an amazing proffesor.

Dynamax and mega evolution combine now that's a terrifying though and would be quite powerful and now imagine that with z moves added to the mix and then that will be true madness

This is still epic, and I think I now have a way to heal the fragments. Alan’s megastone, Hop’s wishing stone in his bracelet. The two energies are at first wild. Hop gets an idea. He releases Eternatus from his poke ball. Eternatus reacts to the energy, absorbing it and shifting to his second form. He unleashes the energy in the form of Gigamax Canon. The fragment is hit by the blast. Instead of dying, the fragment is defused into the Pokémon it was made of. For example, Flikachu is defused into a Pikachu and Flareon. Pidgerill is defused into Pidgeot and Beedrill. Eturnatus only gets one shot per power up. After releasing the fused energy, he faints and must rest for 24 hours before he can battle, and 48 hours more before he can heal a Fragment again. A visit to a hidden land leads to the creation of the Wishing Stone, which is in two pieces and set on a bracelet. Alan and Hop wear them considering the healing happened because of them. Alan uses his half of the Wishing Stone to mega evolve his Charizard, whom gains a fifth move which allows him to defuse weak fragments. Hop uses his half of the Wishing Stone to Dynamax his Rillaboom. Instead of him growing gigantic, he stays normal sized but gains the Dynamax moves plus a fifth move that like Charizard, allows him to heal weak fragments. When the move is used together, they can heal stronger fragments. Eternatus can heal large fragments, and if all three work together, they can take down a Fragment known only as Strider. Thing is, no one is sure if Strider is even real, nor what it looks like. All that is known is that it has the horns of a Stantler.
