@@bizque8631 Hudayi is the name of the poet who wrote this song. His full name is Aziz Mahmood Hudayi, and when I looked up the meaning of the word Hudayi, I found that it means "the one who belongs to Allah." Also, his tomb is in İstanbul fyi.

I can say that the original version of the poem is slightly different, however, the translation is terrific. This Turkish isn't valid in Turkey today, nevertheless, I cannot say it's completely incomprehensible. However; unless being very educated, people in Turkey don't understand this poem nowadays. Many of the words is really old-fashion. Overall, Sheikh did a magnificant job.
