I have not been the best mormon, but when i watch videos like this it makes me look at myself and realize that the lord really didnt give us all trials that we could over come and now i realize that thanks to these videos i am going to become a stronger person through faith and be able to be worthy to see my three friends that have commit suicide. thank you so much for this video im glad i was able to watch this.

Most excellent show of strength of faith in Jesus Christ and His restored gospel. This video has helped me to realize how small I am and how people can be influenced by small acts of others...and I think the real person who has demonstrated that in its full spectrum is Christ our Lord, Jesus.

My Dearest Friend Skyler Killed himself Last month, I didn't know what to do, i had so many questions, My uncle sent me this video, My questions were answered and now i know he is up there Watching everybody. My face is now wet with tears. Love and light to you Darren, to the family of "Beans," to Chris Evanson and all others who were affected by this horrible accident. The love of our Heavenly Father, and our Savior's love, grace and compassion are more than enough.

This truly helps me I love this it makes me feel the spirit so much.

It has almost been three years ago since I was in my deep deep hole of dispair. When I told my friends about it, 90% of them cried. They told me how it wasnt my fault and that I was going to be ok. I am better now thanks to them. I am able to stand tall and be able to enjoy yet another day because of the goodness of my friends. I owe them alot.

This made me absolutely caught up in the spirit of this. Each one of us has such a HUGE impact on so many. My continual thanks to the LDS Church for producing films of such HIGH quality. It felt like I was watching something as good as anything I would see in the theater. Just OUTSTANDING.

We all have had terrible things in our life's and that's the whole point in life if not what's the whole reason of following god, he wants us to learn how to go through it, and being strong so in the end we will all return with our heavenly savior Jesus Christ, that's why we must repent and follow God, and remember you will never go though something on your own because god is always with you helping you to solve it.

I know it's a little late. But darren is now my young men's advisor and im not the strongest in the church or anything. And I know that he is a great leader. He cares for us. He wants us to learn. I heard this happened to him. I knew there was a message and now at my time of need I turned to this. To see what other people have gone through. To see how everything works. And I know that I will get better at things. I hope he knows even if he just got called. He's already left a big handprint on my heart and mind..

Loss is the most harest thing. . But god is always there

What a message of comfort. One of our young women was just killed in a car accident. This is a reminder to me of what the Atonement really means and how it can ease the pain and comfort our hearts. Thank you.

its hard to loose a friend like that and understanding what the plan of salvation is and we all have trails in life and we should always reflect on anything to our lives and do better things in life as well and yeah

I'm glad there's still good youth in the world that can touch the hearts of many and show that there is still hope, love, kindness out to reach us despite all the horrible death & sorrow I believe pain can bring us closer to people or pull us away but it's ultimately how we use those emotions. This video helped me to grow in spirit and know I can come back to others and still trust people. We all have experienced pain in some manner, and that as humans we can come and love and comfort eachother.

I love this video. I live close to Taber and Elder Evanson I my cousin. He even just got off a mission!

I refer back to this a lot because his point is real. When someone you know well dies that is when the atonement becomes real. A guy in my home town died recently, so it's always nice to look this up again when needed. It really makes you wonder why people who are so young have to die.

I know how he feels I lost three friends almost the same way. It happened three days after my birthday five after one of their birthdays. My friends only were 18 for a few days and weeks and a month they had so much potential but God must have thought that they have done what they could in life so took his angels back home. I hope that they will feel that God is with them and that I am showing my full support to them and they will always be in my prayers.

No matter what situation you are facing or whose pushing you around - you pray to him and he will help you. Amen. I love these messages.

When he started crying I just wanted to give him a hug through this screen! I feel so awful that this happened to him and his friends. But I'm glad that he found answers :)

Wow, just wow, I faced a similar situation when I was quite a bit younger than Darren was, and it took years for me to reach the level of maturity to seek out my Savior rather than turn my back, I know it could be the age discrepancy but from my own experience I don't think so, the maturity of faith Darren displayed is an inspiration truly.

This video has had a big impact on the little town of Taber, it is amazing what small things to do in missionary work!!!!

I know exacally where Darren is coming from, I had a brother die three years ago as a Senior in High School. The Plan of Salvation doesn't become 'real' until you've experienced something like this, having someone close to you die. And prayer most definately is key to it all, I most definately know that God does help us! Otherwise my family would have fallen apart a long time ago, especially three years ago when my brother died.

Miss you Beans. I know your alright.

As a youth of the church I can relate to the confusion Darren must have felt. But more than that, I can relate to the peace offered by our savior, and the healing we can recieve if we turn our hearts to him. I cannot imagine losing a friend. I can only offer my deepest sympathy. Thank you, Darren, for your testimony.

There is a time in every ones life there is a time limit to stay on this earth as a human and it was his time to go on his mission on the other side of the vail.remember we are not in control but the lord jesus christ is and he says when and how we go .if this accident was not, he would be still here with you, so fear not as I with thee even unto death.

i just lost a friend to a brain aneurysm two days ago, and this has helped a lot. Thank you for the video, i will share it with friends for their comfort too.

What Darren said at the end about the Atonement and Plan of Salvation becoming more real after his friend died is very true. I had a sibling die a few years ago and it wasn't until after that where the Atonement and Plan of Salvation became very real to me.
