Yes, I can agree with a lot of what you’ve said. She blamed her son for the death of her first daughter so she abandoned him due to immense grief. He was only a little boy and it was an accident. He gave her a walnut not stabbed her with a knife or anything! After her accident she went through a lot, depression, anger, fear, pain etc but she twisted all her feelings up and then dumped them on him. He was only 18 years old and estranged from her. Suddenly he has lost his grandmother and become a carer and father figure to his mother and younger sister. He’s had to do all this whilst moving to another city leaving his family behind and studying. It’s too much for most people. His mother is better now for the most part so she should start backing away and letting him have his own life.
