I think there might be some hurt from his childhood. Looking at his age, he probably came from a family where he was just told what to do. I want to say that he may be one of the younger ones in his family. Probably afraid he will say the wrong thing/ask the wrong question which will lead to the family disrespecting him as the head of the household. All this is conjecture since the MCs don't ask the hard questions but that os a given since its a variety show...just so curious of the facts of his life that has been repressed

I'm the same, it's very hard for me to communicate with other, even speaking with my my family, cousin and friends is a bit hard and uncomfortable. Ppl always ask me weird questions like "Are you looking down on me?" "Why are you so quiet?" "You're naive, no?" But it's not funny at all. I'm like this since I was born, so envy ppl who can speak freely which is not me.

Honestly I feel bad for the father as well. I think this is a clear case of some sort of anxiety about speaking to his family. It may have been something in the past that made him uncertain or just sometimes being a dad you feel disconnected from your daughters and wife. Of course, there are some things he could work on, but I think it’s just from not knowing when to speak what. As he said, he doesn’t know how to express himself.

My dad is the total opposite lmao XD He be like "how's school? how's your friend? was lunch delicious? did you have fun? did you eat a lot today? do you have homework? are you running out of money? are you okay?" He cared a lot about my mom too. He drives her everywhere and always wait for her happily and rarely complains. My grandfather (mom's side) fell ill and my grand parent's house is far away from our house but my dad drives my mom to my grand parent's house many times in one day. When she said he can just wait for her at home he said he feels better driving her and make sure she's safe too. When my mom got sick and had to stay in the hospital he stayed with my mom and works on his computer. He drives from the hospital to pick us up to visit mom when she's asleep and drive us home later when she is asleep again. My mom always told me every time she opens her eyes my dad is always in the room and it's like me and my brother just teleport there lol. The only similarity is he got pissed easily, he was pissed at me for watching aquaman with my bestie instead of with him and my mom... another time I went on a shopping date with my mom and my dad got pissed that we left them with my lil brother. I later found out that my lil brother was playing computer game and didn't really spend time with dad so he's pissed. uwu my dad is so precious T_T P.S. To me it seems more like he treats his family as slaves like they are just there for when he needs them and just got married because that's what everyone does at some point in their life . This is an EXACT reason that KBS needs to have REAL professionals on standby to speak to these families. As much as the panel can give their opinion, and its funny when they make it light, some of these situations require professional help, REGARDLESS of culture or whatever. You have a show that asks people to air their laundry, the least KBS could do is provide them with some professional advice!

I feel like for a lot of people in order to be seen as someone with their lives “put together” they get married even if they don’t really want to but just to check off that box of what parents and peers expect of them. I’m just wondering that based off the way he said “I must live with them”. I'm the only one who can make my dad speak XD He is not very the talkative kind and my mum is VERY talkative. So it's funny to see them interact with each other x) But damn, it must so frustating :/

Watching this I was like I’m like him I don’t really speak at home, then I continued watching and saw how terrible he is and said naw I’m nothing like him I just don’t wanna talk at home cause I got nothing to say and I’m shy and when someone talks to me I talk and conversation he just clearly is rude and doesn’t care about them at all but himself

I think his problem was more like ever since his daughters grew old enough, they may have unintentionally started being close with their mum like the 3 musketeers. Unknowingly, they may have sided with each other & put him down, that's why he mentioned a few times, they are all women. Already feeling inferior, he met with the accident which made it worst. P.S "Its just my personal observation."

They didn't even asked about his past or childhood, about his trauma, how he was treated in his family before married, there must be basic reason why he doesn't like to talk. And most of all....The strange about this program is no professional like psychologist involved. At least one. So, sometime i feel...is that really happened? Are they not actors? How come u be able to come to a show when u know lot people will be pointing at you? In the end it's only about to find which is the more craziest story.

wow this situation kinda feels somewhat like my family, but the only diff is now that im older, i no longer fear my dad anymore, i just either talk back/shout at him asking him to chill tf down, or ignore his tantrums. i know whatever i say or do will not change his temper, so idec anymore, even in public i will try to "educate" my dad by telling him to control his temper. i think my younger brother is worse tho, whenever my parents hit him, he will retaliate by hitting them back. (and he's only 11 years old) this is what happens to children who grow up in 'terrorizing' environment, they can either become weak and have no self confidence, or become one like their parents as well. seems like we are the latter. no children should grow up in such an environment. really hope such parents go for counselling sessions to control themselves. being unable to control your temper is a mental disorder, and it affects the ppl around you. the world does not revolve around your temper. slowly later in your life, when you realize your ill temper has chased away all your loved ones, you will regret so much, but you cannot turn the clock backwards.

The older daughter seems a really nice girl I hope the situation to become better for her happiness. And killagramz was right the father should make something to drink less. If he crave alcohol everyday it means he is on a dangerous road..if you feel that you absolutely need that something and cannot decrease assumption...man thats addiction. And addicted people deep inside feel sorry about it and start to distancing themselves from they family ecc.
