He works EVERYWHERE… (Complete C0 Baizhu Review & Guide)

What I most like about Baizhu: he is the only healer that can heal the WHOLE team without needing ER. it just press E and done!

Baizhu is what I call a comfort unit you don't need him but when you have him you feel the difference

I'm still bitter over how badly Baizhu was done dirty on release after waiting for him for almost 3 years. At least the one way Hoyo did treat him right was giving him a great kit

A correction. His skill doesn't need to hit an enemy to heal. It needs to hit something (actually it doesnt). If you need faster healing, aim at a wall. I've been saying he is the best healer since his release and the comments I got on my vids were mostly negative. People who don't have Baizhu have no idea how comfortable he is. Is he 'replaceable', maybe... but everyone is. C2 is pretty good if you main Cyno, you'll always have dendro application during Cyno's burst.

Pulled for him back then to complete my Keqing aggravate team, and the good doctor has been totally worth it. He carried my team when I was fighting that Vivianne boss, and because of that I'm seriously considering on giving him two crowns.

Baizhu is definitely top tier healer support. No circle impact, one tap heal all, damage buffing, resistance interruption, and constant off-field elemental application. Been interested in him since his first appearance in Liyue that's why I saved specifically for him when he got released. No regrets at all. He's so comfortable to use wherever you take him be it overworld or abyss. Love him so much. ♥

I'm pretty sure if you put Baizhu and Furina on a team, then picked the remaining two characters completely at random you'll come out with a viable team.

Baizhu at first glance is kinda easy to skip, but once you have him on the team, he's hard to let go. The comfort he brings is even more than Kokomi or Zhongli, definitely the best healer now

I mean he's hot and has a midriff. So yeah, probably pretty useful to your account.

As a Baizhu dps player since his release he has an interesting detail in his kit, that is the double charged attack (consumes one's stamina and requires practice to use it consistently) with Neuvillette weapon and atk build, highly recommended.

Between Kokomi and then Baizhu, I'm 2 for 2 pulling healers that got so much hate that are 2 of my most used characters that I'm so happy I pulled for. Baizhu fits in so many teams, I had loads of fun with burgeon and I can't wait to try him with Furina and maybe even Wriothesley, he makes so many teams insanely comfy.

When people argued he was worse than Kirara and Yaoyao for no reason but to just make him look bad

I've gotten baizhu during his first banner and has been on my team ever since. Yes he isn't a much pull but he is very comfy especially if you are building his buff at 50K hp. Your team can never die with him on it.

My C2 Baizhu is amazing in so many different teams. Best pulls I never regretted. Just hope he works well with Furina.

1. He doesn’t eat up the electro aura and allows me to use Kazuha effectively in aggravate teams 2. He enables me to use both Alhaitham and Yelan in Nilou bloom teams for added massive single target damage. 3. Paired with Nahida, makes Burgeon Hutao extremely accessible to play and gives her team AOE damage 4. Can pretty much wear any support set you want him to: Deepwood, tenacity, noblesse, clam, instructor etc. (and potentially even the 4.3 healing buff set.) 5. Doesn’t eat up precious field time to Heal his team. 6. Teamwide healing is not burst dependent (attached to his skill instead of burst) 7. Natural synergy with Furina and her teams. He’s by far my favorite Sumeru character ever released so far. (My Kokomi, Yaoyao and Kirara have been gathering dust for the past few months now because of him lol)

baizhu is very underrated, his healing is extremely good and his lv 70 talent buff dmg from dendro related reactions will be very good for your dendro teams, his passive talents is extremely good for overworld exploration and won't be worry about healing like using kokomi's E, he has a good dendro application with his ult and his E has a decent dendro application. at first glance, he maybe an easy skip but once u started to invest into his kit and ability, it's not very easy to let go. The fandom overlooked him and he was overwhelmed by kokomi's and other healer but he's still good, trust me. You won't regretted it

I love my Baizhu. Cheap and easy to build and play, useful in tons of teams, and looks good doing it. My favorite healer. The sassy snake rules too, Changseng. Overall a cutie with awesome support, he's one of my most played characters. I do not use his burst every rotation, I see it as more of a bonus on every other. *shrug* But I'm not a Spiral Abyss squatter, I often forget it even exists. Great video, Jello!

As a strictly off field healer, he is the best. Single target or teamwide healing? You only need to press his skill/burst once then switch out. Other healers demand circle impact or longer onfield time just to heal effectively.

From a Baizhu main, You would be a fool to avoid Baizhu whether or not you need Dendro app. That team wide skill healing is top tier. No energy requirement and a new skill charge every few seconds. If built well and crowned, he can do 15k heals to every character every few seconds. His shield is surprisingly really good despite being "weak". Baizhu changed my gameplay and I never use food. He carries my teams and I would personally recommend him.

As a baizhu main who got him to c3 today i love him so much. At c2 you can build him with tenacity of the mililith and keep the effect up almost indefinitely without ever switching to baizhu. His c2 also has synergy with furina as he can help mitigate the health drain from her skill entirely off field. Its hard to tell as im not an expert but i think his c2 also has a different icd for reactions from the rest of his kit allowing him to bloom much faster

Neuvi - Baizhu - Kazuha - Furina, 1 of my strongest team for abyss. I preferred Nahida on Alhaitham hyperbloom, finally Baizhu got his spot on my Neuvi team.

Nahida's awesome dendro application turns into a litteral pain when you need to vv shred another element. The application is too frequent for that, and the mark lasts way too long, so if the enemy is tanky you'll end up not being able to vv shred. I noticed this while playing aggravate keqing with nahida and kazuha and even more with Neuvilette burgeon. This is why I use collei with my Neuvilette: i have full control on when and where to apply dendro for the burning+burgeon reaction, while still being able to VV swirl hydro for the res shred. Baizhu sounds like a pretty good upgrade over collei in this scenario. He also sounds pretty dang good for my Alhaitham team.

Hi there. Great video as always! I would like to give a feedback that may sound silly, but anyways... When you put interruptions in the videos to change the topic, I think would be good to also have a sound cue (maybe a character voice line, or just one or two chords of a song...). The way it's right now, the silence in the transition always feels weird to me, as if something went wrong if the video. I know this is minor stuff, but I really enjoy your content and only wish it to get better and better! Thank you for the amazing work

My only gripe I have about Baizhu is his Dendro buffs and shield don't work in co op party members. Could of added that to a high constellation

Baizhu has been my fave since I first met him in the MSQ. I still didn't expect to love using him as much as I do, he's seen more use than any of my other units. My abyss teams are pretty much always fighting over him. Excited to build him to be a driver eventually, hopefully they add artifact loadouts soon 🙏

Before Furina I'd say Baizhu was an easy skip. But with Furina he's absolutely top tier thanks to his teamwide heal not being tied to burst. Trust me, all those people saying Jean or Charlotte are better are coping. Relying on burst to heal feels so bad if you A. Burst at the end of an abyss chamber and have no energy to heal in the next chamber B. Are on cooldown and you need heals ASAP C. Are exploring overworld and need heals for your party members who are perpetually at 50% HP unless you want your Furina's damage to be neutered Also Baizhu's best weapon for supporting Furina being a f2p Prototype Amber which everyone and their mothers should have thanks to it being available since 1.0, and having a really easy build with just focus on HP/ER, he's simply superb. If you're a whale his C1/C2 are pretty broken, extra E for even more healing and particles, and any active attacking character can trigger a 20% weaker version of his E every 5 seconds without even needing to switch into Baizhu.

Baizhu is my #1 defensive character in the game. I prefer healing to shielding and use him even over Zhongli. He's such a sleeper character. Keeping your team healthy with him is criminally easy. Just switch him in, hit his E, switch him out. Two seconds on field for teamwide heals, and you're already back to your dps. He works great with greedy on-fielders that want a lot of time. And with HP-eating characters like my Neuvillette. Baizhu was my first limited banner pull (which I felt silly for, since he's a healer), but I've not had any reason to regret that choice since, and he's carried just about every team I've brought anywhere.

As somebody who gets triggered easily whenever 1 of my characters isn't full hp, Baizhu cures my OCD specially niw that I'm playing Wriothesley who constantly sacrifices his hp due to his skill mechanics.

I accidentally pulled him just after getting furina. So now i will build him.

I recently got the Sacrificial Jade from the BP & having no other use for it gave it to Baizhu. While the crit is not needed, the passive of 32% HP boost means he enters the fray with 51K+ & 40 bonus EM isn't completely useless. Will be interesting to see how the values grow when I get round to refining the weapon.

YEAHHH Baizhu supremacy!!! Baizhu was my first ever healer and I was always shocked that no one really appreciated him when he dropped??? Man carries my squishy teams to this day.

I got this guy randomly and didn't bother building him until recently. He's a very nice unit

Got him when he first dropped and have been using him in practical every abyss/domain since I’ve got him. No regrets and absolutely worth it.

I accidently got him and Ganyu back then while build pity. I build him right away since I wanna do two teams for abyss and the only healer that I already built was Kuki. I would say I love playing Baizhu more in bloom team with Nahida, Yelan and Nilou. And he's f2p friendly too since we can use prototype amber on him. He stayed quite long in my main team, reaching friendship 10 already before I pulled Zhongli and start building a new team to include Zhongli in. Overall, I love Baizhu! You will not regret pulling him since he will make you playing your team in a very comfy way.

I’ve been going back and forth trying to decide if I should pull for him and I’m pretty sure I’m now decided on going for it (depending on how pulling for Furina goes but I’m in a pretty good position).

I absolutely love using him and I actually use him in my main team as an on-field dendro applicator for my Raiden/Zhongli/Baizhu/Xingqiu hyperbloom team (Zhongli for res shred and comfort of his shield, which gets rid of the problem of Baizhu needing to be in melee distance from the enemy). I am planning to pull for Nahida in the new banner that comes tomorrow (60 pity and guaranteed, so I know she will come home soon :D), so I will need to somehow shuffle things around and create two main teams around them.

I love how ppl hated him on release but look at him now. Had him since day one.

Baizhu is one of my top (if not top) favourite male characters and I'm so excited for his banner! I'm only worried about his weapon choice, because I don't have many weapons in general and my Prototype Amber is with Neuvillette whom I was planning to use with Baizhu. Guess I might have to go with Thrilling Tales.

Would you recommend a newer (AR 45) player pulling on Baizhu if I have wishes left after Furina? I have Neuvilette, Tighnari, Fischl, Sucrose, and Xiangling right now. Feels like I need a healer for Neuv+Furina.

Ive been a Baizhu main since i started in 3.6. No previous knowledge of the game or character and he is by far my favorite character. I have yelan, Neuv, Lyney, Zhongli, the fab 5, eula, venti, yoimiya etc and id pull for Baizhu first(if all were available )if i had to to start again

I pulled baizhu on release and I haven't regretted it a single day since then. He's not mandatory, but he is so comfortable. He's a premium unit, I wouldnt recommend him for someone that is f2p and only looking for 'meta' chars, but for someone who wants some QOL upgrades in a dendro support, he's great.

Baizhu was the first character I tried to pull for when I first started playing because I liked his design (and love snakes and the color green), but I was a newbie and did not get him, but am probably also going to have to skip his first re-run (which... *sad face*), because I want to hold onto my first guarantee for Raiden - and save up for Nahida after that. Maybe further on down the road, he'll be someone I definitely want. (I love my comfort utility characters.)

Baizhu gets the short end of the stick during release: -first appearance way during Liyue AQ and never got any major role in any quest. Even in his release he only get SQ -release after Yaoyao that was released during Lantern Rite so everyone pretty much guaranteed to get dendro healer without needing Baizhu

Super underrated character! Competes with Zhongli for comfiest unit in the game IMO.

I plan to get him on next banners that will come out cause I think he will synergize well with Nauvy :3

Question oh so wise Sage Jello. I’m a pretty new player (day 76, ~550 hours) and decided to pull for RizzleDaddy because I’m a sucker for the martial art archetype (was planning to main Heizou if I ever pulled him before Wriothesley was announced) but don’t really have any super good teams for him at the moment. Plan on vertically investing in him (C1 next banner, R1 the banner after that) and I consider teams part of vertical investment. I am aware that Burn melt seems to be his strongest personal damage teams and hyperfeidge is probably his best team damage setup. Is Baizhu a better pull for him then Furina over all if I care about team diversity as much if not more then I care about peak damage output? I know Nahida is probably over all the better pick but she could be 3-whoeverknows months from now and my only dendro options right now are MC and Collei neither of whom do really well solo especially for burn. (I have Both Xingqiu and Yelan for hydro options if I want freeze)

I got baizhu on day 1 and accidentally got his c1 which I thought was a waste but tbh it just makes him all the more comfy and fits into my Alhaitham rotation perfectly, ever since I got him I’ve brought him to every single abyss,, but tbf I wanted that man since 1.0 so he could do negative healing and I would still love him lmao

I got an early Baizhu on his first banner and was sooo annoyed at the time but it ended up being a happy accident cause he soo good he's pretty much my go to dendro unit now :)

He's even better if than you think: You can use the Maiden or Clam hat for healing and Flower (that increases healing 45% , and then pair him with someone using the Mileth set (my someone is Kuki). Round that out with Layla or Zhong Li and there is still room for an ADC/DPS (Yanfie, Jean, Shenhe or Wriothlsey [and if you have Layla, Shenhe picks up another 15% crit]).

I got weirdly lucky with baizhu, so I have c1, and I've been using him incredibly often since release, Ive used him as an on field hyperbloom driver and it feels great to always have 100% hp across my team

i think the one that is holding him back is his dendro application, his Skill only hit only upto three and his burst hits only one (idk if it have a splash effect where closer enemy also hit) aside from that he is an excellent unit. He Heal, He shield, he buff and make your gameplay comfortable what else can you get

I got him C1 on accident upon release and I've used him constantly ever since. He makes any team you put him into so so comfortable it's bonkers how people just overlooked him. I dislike Nahida so he really saved my acc. I could never replace him with Yao Yao or Kirara because they have to be on-field both for healing and dendro application and you just end up building a team around them while Baizhu just fits anywhere you want him to be while providing a team-wide dendro reaction DMG buff which the 4* do not - also an overlooked part of his kit.

I predicred he will be amazing with the hydro archon when he came out initialy. I am so happy I did that investment and lucky i got him C1 in a roll together. I am running him on 50k HP for the buff currently and he is so useful, definetly reccomend.

Baizhu has become my main healer. I use him in a comp with Keqing and Xiangling, with Wanderer as main DPS/exploration. When I pop Xiangling's burst, then Baizhu, and then Keqing's, it's just quickens, burns, and overloads all over the place!

I really like Baizu with Yae and Raiden in aggravate with either Sucrose (who’s EM is more meaningful) or Kazuha. He’s also perfect with Cyno in a hyperbloom team with Nahida and XQ. I used to play him in Nilou teams with Ayato and Nahida but… ya know, yaoyao just feels better, particularly at c6. She has the off field aoe dendro application on skill which just feels better than on burst alone. Only thing is her healing doesn’t really keep up until c6. I also like Kirara better for quicken quickswap teams like Keqing and Tighnari. Each dendro sustain has an optimal place imo

After i get my guaranteed furina, i will definitely do a few 10 pulls on his banner. I will not be grinding out to get him, but i will totally try to pull

Baizhu works well with Harbinger of Dawn Alhaitham. I can't get below 90%. I can keep this all day until I get his best in slot.

I would really love to get Baizhu but i have spent all my primos on Venti. I will save for phase 2 since the four stars leaked are Kirara Kuki and Xiangling so there is not a bad outcome. If i get Ayato i would not be mad at all. I love his playstyle and flexibility

I use Baizhu with TTDS, I changed it from Prototype Amber when I got Neuvillette and it was actually a buff for my Keqing Aggra team. I'm not a very competitive player so for now 33 stars in Abyss is ok for me, maybe it will change with time and better builded characters. I got mine Baizhu bc I needed him for Aggra team. It was on the last day of his banner and I thought that if I don't get him I would get Kirara but after I got Baizhu I don't think I need any other dendro shielder/healer. My Yaoyao is benched on lvl 20 and I don't plan building her anytime soon.

As a 1.0 player I know and wanted Baizhu for so long but tbh I still only got C2 Baizhu (and weapon) because I went for C6 Kaveh 🥴 but now that Fontaine is out Baizhu is in all my teams since he's such an insane healer and a really comfortable edefensive unit.

If I accidentally get Baizhu's weapon while pulling for Furina's weapon, i'll get him too 🤣

atlast baizhu recegnission i love him i got him early but he is basically walking statue of seven he heals so much i cant die even if i try😅 he is so good

I pulled Baizhu on his initial banner and don’t regret it. He’s a great addition to my Cyno team! I run that one with Cyno/Nahida/Xingqiu/Baizhu. I’m curious to see how Furina will work there.

As a Baizhu enjoyer, I'm just waiting for Furina now to complete my comp together with my Nahida and Shinobu 🤭. The buff that Furina can provide when Baizhu throws the snake for no reason will be so much fun imo.

The funny part is I get baizhu by mistake while I was trying to get some copies of Candace. I never used baizhu and he was just staying on the bench for months and I regret a lot to go for baizhu banner instead of ganyu banner for 4 star. Finally time has come and I am really happy because I can focus pulling Furina now.

I've loved Baizhu since the day I got him. My main team he's on isn't face-melting, but it's comfy to play. I've never understood the dislike of his kit.

Luckily won 50/50 on his 1st release not one, but 2 Baizhu in 1multi pull. He's my only luckiest pulled character in Genshin (then followed by Wriothesley). I'm still using my C1 Baizhu on Hyperbloom/Burgeon team esp in Spiral Abyss and sometimes exploration. In fact, he helped me 100% my exploration in Liyue.

After I got Baizhu and his weapon i paired him with raiden, xingqu, and kazuha. Im not done building him but I enjoy playing him and and used him as dps most of the time until i got neuvilette.

I originally pulled him for my Qiqi so they could be friends in the overworld together. He ended up being better than expected. My main damage team now is.... Neuvillette, Raiden, Venti, Baizhu. No circle impact. Venti, Neuvillette, Baizhu, Raiden E being able to stay far from the enemy is so underrated imo. Such a fun team for me.
