Thanks for the review. Since I did not try a ot of poliesters would you just coment me how this string would compare to the Alu Power Rough? I would be useful since I can make a compraration in my head like this
I have Hawk Power hybrided at a lowish tension (46 lbs) in my Extreme Tour with Lynx Tour in the mains. It's a nice combo, I think, with the spin of the Lynx Tour and (in my opinion, of course) a softer response with more pop from the Hawk Power.
BTW, I was just checking my string tension (fine) and noticed an amazing lack of notching with this combination of strings. I play 5 or 6 hours per week (weather depending in the winter) and these strings have been in the racquet since early January! My go-to Confidential 17 would be halfway worn through by now. UPDATE: Just two more hitting sessions and the Hawk Power cross snapped right in the middle of the sweet spot. Very weird as there is no noticeable wear on the strings (no notching, no nothing) and yet it broke clean through. I have never seen a string break like that. Not going to complain, though, as playability was extremely consistent the whole way through.
@@AC852HK I will try that and let you know. Although with the Hawk Power snapping on me as a cross with no wear makes me think it would not last long in the mains.
stiffness is the only metric that matters for poly since its such a cheap plastic. people dont know but u dont need to pay 3x for RPM when u can get kirchbaum
