Trump was an awful President. Left office with unemployment over 10%. Economy in deep recession. Sky high inflation - 2x4's were almost $10 and plywood was $60 per sheet IF you could get them. Added 8 TRILLION TO NATIONAL DEBT .Yes trump claimed he wouldn't take pay BUT took 2 billion from Saudi Arabia while agreeing to sell them fighter jets. We were stacking dead Americans in refrigerator trucks because morgues were overflowing with US having WORST handling of Covid in the whole world. Dead last. trump is a corrupt asshole. He should be in prison. Your rewriting of history says something about YOU.
Hey moron stop licking Democrats asses. It's called trump derangement syndrome. It's very contagious and you should wear a mask.you can also catch it by watching fake news.😊
Hey Andy I'm a non farmer here I see all of your equipment and machinery in your barn that has got to be in the millions of dollars to own and PAY For be For you even break even has got to take decades to payoff .THINK ABOUT THAT NON FARMERS. THANK YOU ANDY AND ALL THE FARMERS FOR FEEDING A NATION! REMEMBER WHAT JULY 4TH IS ALL ABOUT! THANKS AGAIN
Agree 100% on the tax cuts. Last year was the wife’s and I first year of being fully retired. When we did our taxes, we found out we’d get a bigger tax write off because of Trumps tax cuts. But we also found out the other day that if Trump isn’t elected we’ll lose it because Biden won’t renew. We’re average middle class people. I hope people wake up and realize Biden isn’t for helping the average American. “FJB”
We just got our first measurable rain last night. The corn popped up at least 2'. Surprising how much it wanted to grow, just needed a drink. Beans seem to enjoy the refreshment. 3/4" doesn't seem to be much but soil was dry dry.
I hate that word Democracy! I served under a Constitutional Republic! You would be surprised how many people do not know why we celebrate Memorial, Independence Day. Those are on RU-vid when they go around asking people.
You MilePost get the Dimwhit Booby prize of the week because you are not smart enough to understand that our democracy is a constitutional republic. Which means that We the People vote to elect our representatives. The only reason why you hate the word democracy is because it sounds to much like democrat. Stay ignorant. You are welcome for the free knowledge. Glad I could help dumb dumb.
I'm jealous of your GDDs. Up here on the east side of the western part of the Not So Great Communist North, we have been cool and cloudy. Somehow the corn managed to make knee high on the fourth. Our soybeans look much like yours at about V4.
My boss and me went out to lunch, while driving he said: do you know what is wrong with our society? I looked around and saw prosperity was wondering why he was complaining, then it hit me, he said, the problem with our society is that everyone is scamming everyone else and it's very sad, spot on
I'm helping my daughter move from Illannoy to VA next week with her two horses, wish us luck, road trip to the last semblance of freedom, proud of daughter for getting out of dodge, she has won multiple first place awards in English horse competitions.
I had a black bear run into the side of my truck last year. I have a 2010 f150, I still have full coverage on it. My insurance company said, If you had hit a deer you would have been covered, but because you hit a bear and did not kill it, sorry for your luck. Guess they needed make sure it was a bear. Even in the police report, they said bear hit the truck. I canceled that insurance asap. I fixed the truck, still driving it. Insurance today is a joke. Happy Independence Day from the Mid Atlantic State.
I run a family owned hardware store, starting mid 2022, the cost of goods exploded. Back before this time, 4” by 10’ schedule 40 pvc was $22, it got as high as $56, now it’s $49. Fact, not a statement from a keyboard warrior. I can reprint transactions from back then. Oh Joe, you did a great job, you answered everybody’s questions.
Wow it amazes me of the amount of time and products and process to plant all those fields being a one man operation . I’m surprised you even have the time to make a video . Much respect for your drive and determination !!! But I guess I’ve never witnessed a real farmers output and workload for success to continue operations . Happy belated Independence Day Love your videos and look forward to your input ,never a dull moment on film and loaded with realistic views of life and reality . God Bless you and yours I hope the good lord gives you some rain for your crops .🙏🙏🙏🙏
@@garylam6233 remember it’s a two person operation. Barb is here. She helps get it planted and get it harvested. She just doesn’t do much during the spraying and putting on Anhydrous part other than run me around when I need a ride.
@@TheGrumpyFarmer I’m sorry I didn’t forget about Barb’s help It still a family run operation with evidence of hard work and coordination . Much Respect to you and Barb for the hard work and dedication as a couple struggling with life’s challenges . Thanks for setting me straight Sorry Barb
Great video, thanks for taking the time to share. 3 weeks ago I was worried with 90+ degree temps and no rain in the 2 week forecast. Timely rains and warm nights have corn and beans in my area of Michigan looking awesome! Hay crop was excellent also with second cutting here already. lol ! Great looking crops
Thank You!! I've been saying the exact same thing about Independence Day/4th of July for years. Even using the Christmas comparison. And if Happy Holidays is replacing Merry Christmas, then why not say Happy Holiday for every holiday? They keep trying to divert our attention away from what these holidays are really all about. It's shameful.
SDSS here 🤣🤣🤣 Corn is looking great, and beans are coming right along!! Yes sir , hope you had a great independence day!! Boy oh boy the stupidity we are surrounded by at times!! I love seeing all that equipment tucked in the dry 😉 Thank you sir for bringing us along!! Look fwd to seeing what's next 🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲😁😁😁👌🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻🌽🌽🌽🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Corn is looking good! We sometimes plant 90 day corn now and it will be dry by October 15. But it's been dry in summer here the last few years. Always weird weather in the Ozarks. Keep up the great work. 😁✌️👍
Happy belated Independence Day to you as well. I’m with ya with saying the name of the holiday. You ever heard of plant in the dust your bins will bust? My grandpa always said that. Your crops do look great!
100% correct Andy. Insurance co’s raise the rates on the rest of the country to make up for not being able to raise them in Cali. We should be able to sue insurance co’s to not be able to do that and see how fast every insurance company leaves Cali
I completely agree with you about “Independence” day! The Dip Shits just keep coming! Crops look good! I appreciate you taking to time to share your thoughts with us.
Thank You, I have been telling everybody for years we are NOT a Democracy, Were a Republic. I have always said Dumb people should not be able to Vote, that's more than half the Country said to say.
Thanks Andy for this. The cost of this Independence has been high. Wish people would remember that. Have a great day now. Corn is tasseling here in west central Indiana.
My daughter works for an insurance company. She will be happy to innumerate the reasons for rate hikes. But this is what she tells me. To many uninsured drivers, vehicle theft is outlandish, newer cars particularly Teslas are ridiculously expensive to repair, and people are driving like idiots. These are a few but not all. Another is the new high horsepower cars are more accessible to young drivers. When we used to talk about high horsepower that meant 250-375 HP, now it means 450-575. Handing a kid a car like that is like giving him a 357 magnum loaded. What pisses me off is that my rates reflect all of the stupid shit other people are doing. I think I deserve a discount for being rational.
That’s the problem Leonard let those people pay all the extra. Why should we be put into a pool with them and have our insurance jacked if we don’t make any claims?
I’m in total agreement with you on everything you covered today. Our crops in southern Indiana are all over the place on maturity rate. We got some making ears and some about foot high. Our planting season stretched out from late march to the end of June. I haven’t seen any more planters out. There’s been a lot of replant and some folks taking the prevent plant. We’ve had a very abnormal season this spring and early summer. I’m still not through with my first hay cutting Simple due to rain. From the 3rd to today we’ve had 7 inches of rain. And more forecast for next week. Obama had to be one of the most corrupt politicians ever. He was a first term senator when Oprah brought him on her TV show and placed him out there for all to see. If I remember correctly he didn’t have a million dollar of wealth before becoming president and look at his net worth today. I guess I despised LBJ more than any of them. I can’t even to begin to understand why people can’t see what’s going on in our country! Or they just don’t care! I remember the 4th of July when I was a kid we had parades and banners all over town and huge family gatherings and picnics and people celebrated being in this country! People were very proud and loved being an American. And I don’t let my family members forget what it is to be an American citizen! And what Independence Day means!
So the usda says record crops this year. Your cost to put crops in the ground went up by 30 ,40% but yet price of corn could take a hit because of bumper crops. Farmers are some of the very few business that are at the mercy of mother nature but yet are at the mercy of basically price control when you sell your product. The small farmer can barely make it anymore. Happy independence day Andy
I never thought much about the whole 4th of July thing until you mentioned that! I’ll be calling it Independence Day from now on! Hope you had a wonderful Independence Day grumpy farmer!
For VA trip, daughter has 2015 RAM, replaced at 62, rotors and brakes (every bone in my body hurts), that old RAM is solid, hardly any rust, good engineering not like JD
Happy Independence Day exactly I’m with u . Great videos and keep it rolling. Crops looking good for that’s great. I pray for all farmers that your yields will be high. Thanks to u and all the rest for producing for this nation. Trump 2024
I told Kevin you needed to start The Secret Society of Grumpy Farmers. Kevin has offered to be the first member to sign on! You nail the truth so well, Andy. We're with you.
The corn is looking great there! Here the corn is maybe knee high! Well, maybe because of the freaking weather here....one day hot, one day rain, one day apocalypse.......i don't know! Do your merchandise shop delivering worldwide or only to the US? Have a good one! Greetins from Bavaria!
Sometimes as bad as things might seem a month ago,a lot of times things work out for the better.... At least for crops. A lot of the people around me including me planted Trump 2024 signs, I hope we have a great harvest in November. Amen to Independence Day, we always take time to read the Declaration of Independence and The Articles of the Constitution. Have a good one Grumpy.
Amen Andy about the Independence Day. As usual love watching you videos and reading comments of the people that don't even know how to spell turnip. 😂😂😂😂
@@RemembranceFarmsLLC that 1.8 inches of rain last week really made a difference Kevin. Problem is you can’t even tell we got it now it’s looking dry again. We are going to need more.
@@TheGrumpyFarmerI hope we keep getting some - but ours has definitely been stunted more because of wet and cooler conditions (we had a 42 degree morning last week). But I’d hate to have our rain shut off yet either
Your crops look good. My crop insurance went up. they have to make up for all the disasters. So if my crops have a good year this year, will that mean insurance will be less next year? Of course not.
Exactly it’s kind of like if you don’t ever make a claim on your auto insurance why doesn’t yours go down? Oh that’s right because they throw you in a pool with the rest of the idiots who make all the claims
Well said! Your crops look awesome. I wish I could give you some of the too much rain we are getting. Also you sure do a great job taking care of your equipment, not many people take the time to wash it like you. Have a great Independence day and weekend.
Happy late Independence Day to you and the missus! Independence Day this year is starting to look a whole lot more sacred. Hotter than a three-balled tomcat here in SC this morning. Hope y’all stay cool up that way and have a great weekend. 🍺🇺🇸
150ft with blinker on I would say man never breaks a law, but some may say his fiery of our country they all get angry. We were giving very basic guidelines for our country. People don’t trust their elders or respect who built our country.
I make 62k a year and bust my ass ,and just except the face that it beats sitting home on unemployment,I just keep on keeping on ... love your videos and keep on feeding me Mr farmer
