I read somewhere about lateralizing signs in head injury what does it mean?

These are just signs that helps you to localise a CNS pathology to a particular area of the brain for example if a patient had bradykinesia and dyskinesis, this allows a localisation of a lesion or pathology to the basal ganglia in the brain.
