Nice work on the maggies mate , made me giggle a bit thought of the scene in saving private Ryan the sniper in the bell tower , but a great video and a pleasure to watch 🎯💥👍
Im in love with these videos. Unfortunately i live in a city so i very rarely get a chance to do something like this. Shooting in general is fun but this is next level. Keep fighting the good fight
No need to justify clean and instant kills mate. Folks are told to stay away from the video if they don't like pest control. If they watch and comment on cruelty, then they've too much time on their hands.
Great video again. I have family over here in the US right now all the way from Clidebank Scotland. It will be close to 40 (100) here before they go back home
Excellent as ever ,am I strange getting so much satisfaction from seeing those little feckers being dropped , hate them I do , keep up the good work and thanks for sharing
These birds remind me of something we have here in the States called a Grackle. I don’t think they are related, but they have the same mannerisms and cagey personalities. They don’t sit in one place for long, so you had better get a bead on them quickly or you lose your shot. Used to hunt them when I was a lad on my grandpops farm. Never had the luxury of head shots though. I usually only had a second or two to get a good shot off if I was lucky. It was a good day if I got one or two. Wished I’d had one of those Daystates when I was growing up!
Magpies are in the Corvidae family. Crows and Bluejays are their cousins here in the US. Of course we also have Magpies here as well in the Western states. Good shooting Simon!
Excellent sniping once again! Well done. I hate having my giuns get dirty like that, but it happens now and then. A little compressed air on the outside usually gets the crevices nice and clean.
Brilliant head shots. We could see the fallout of dust from the harvests, I take it that you're not effected by hay fever. I thought you had your face covered incase they recognised you from the RU-vid 🤣😆😂😂😆🤣😆🤣👍😷👍 Take care my friend.
Ye cheers dux, the reason i don't do them to long is when i look on my analytics it always says that people turn the videos off around the 7 minute mark so i think there is no point doing like a 20 minute one so i will try soon and see.
Brilliant shooting there Simon and what defo gave you the edge there was hide position what a perfect spot that is they don’t even suspect a thing. All the very best 👍🏻
Hi Simon , how you keeping pal .? Hope Jack is enjoying retirement. The missus said "they don't twitch when she shoots them"... Not surprising when she is hitting them with a 12 bore. 🤣🤣🤣 Great vid as usual , keep up the good work. Stay safe.
Jackdaws are relentless in the cow shed on my permission. But the slightest movement and they are off, thankfully they never take long to return.Great shooting !!
I really like watching you shoot the birds, I don't know why. Great video, great work & thanks a lot. That was a great photo at the end of your video. Ooh Rah!
Excellent marksmanship 👍 we use a Larsen trap then pop them off, except one time when I caught the decor magpie, then non of his mates came back, felt sorry for him and let him go 🥴
Great video Simon and excellent shooting on the Maggie's, clean head shots are the best. Great numbers and they just couldn't figure out what was happening to their mates. Cheers brother
Another great video. Your channel has motivated me to learn more about air rifles/pest control in the UK. Contrary to the emotionalists, you demonstrate ethical and humane practice.
Solid shots! Also, thanks for telling us about the equipment, it's very important for people to be able to learn from your experience. I have always thought .177 sub-12 was more than adequate for pest control provided the range was not excessive. Nice shooting, I can't stand magpies as they will completely kill-out the local bird population in spring if they're not controlled. As for the lambs, well, that's even worse.
I have one farm cat that follows me around on site; have to be careful when foxing over there because the sodding cats always lurking. Talking of things running of with your kills, I had a common Buzzard swoop in once and take a shot Maggi... incredible to see and managed to catch it on my mobile. Enjoy the good weather whilst it lasts.
Iv been trapping magpies for years ,with a (Ladder trap) and i find they really are a very smart bird ,i never seem to catch the older birds ,its the young ones who are starting out i mostly catch ,but great shooting. 😊
Good Ol' Jack there surveying the fields for more game/pests. Good shooting Simon, dirty conditions is part of the plan, pretty well, isn't it? Thanks for this one.
Your just as deadly with a shotgun as well👍. Your some marksman Simon. Really impressed with my R-12 , had a couple of weeks now, 12 🐿️ in first couple of days with it.
I too have a R-12 ( black pepper super carbine ) 177. I think it’s fantastic!! Tho I’ve had some negative comments at the range saying why didn’t I buy the HW110 instead!🤷🏼♂️
@@JamesHoughton-bh4qj so long as you’re happy with it don’t worry what others think. I’m over the moon with mine. Purely for vermin control around the farm, black pepper stock is wonderful to look at. Happy shooting 👍
