I started watching this for an impartial review but that quickly got thrown out the window. Turns out he’s only going to give all the info on the rzr and 1/2 ass the rest
4 months ago? Talons are no longer the same as these that you reviewed. Was this done in 2019? If so how many times has your belt broken in the Polaris?
14,000 miles on my 2020 Talon x4 live valve, with only fluid changes and brake pad replacement. Let’s see that from anything with a Polaris badge on it
It's just incredibly boring to drive, bucks worse than anything I've seen at a rodeo, and has by far the worst interior of any machine on the market. Stick to Civics and lawn mowers. I have a Pro XP4 and have had zero issues. Zero.
And the Honda will give you some nice whiplash from bucking like crazy over even the smallest of bumps. At least you will enjoy all the nice gauges from 1997 4-wheelers.
Looking forward to the driving comparison. The two big factors swaying me towards the Honda are the DCT 6 speed transmission in the Honda, and looks which i think the Honda wins as well. If they could just get their suspension tuning ironed out, it would be a smash hit!
"Smash" and "hit" are the words I would use to describe the ride quality of the Honda. "but, but, they have a DCT and you just have to change the oil." Right, I want more out of my TOY than that. Looks? You can't be serious...
I can’t figure out why Polaris did not put dynamix live valve suspension on the xp1k ultimate?? I’m a Polaris guy but the new xp1k this year is just underwhelming. For the so called “leaders in the industry” I think they could have done a lot better. Ride command is also starting to look outdated, needs a bigger screen for how much it costs. They also should have put the rs1 front diff in it. The cab noise is way way worse then the old xp1k. The new styling is fugly if you ask me. They also should be comparing it against the can am maverick x3 135hp model. Overall it is an improvement from the old xp1k but still needs some work.
I wouldn’t buy the RZR XP based on back seat room alone. I’m 6’3” and wear 36” inseam and would not want to ride in the back of the RZR XP at all. I have plenty of room in the back of the KRX and can’t speak on the Talon.
I used to be a fanboy of Polaris I've had a 900 turbo/ modified, 1000S, XP turbo and a XP pro. If you want to embarrass yourself comparing this XP 1000 try a head-to-head with a Segway villain. Segway villain is far superior to this machine at thousands less. With the villain, you get 4,500 lb winch, a roof, beadlock wheels, inertia seat, vastly superior "Tesla type screen, thicker more robust front a arms and stronger rear trailing arms, lower cg for better cornering performance, option for 3wd and full lock 4 wd..I paid literally 16,400.00 for my 74" with all these upgrades...! Sorry Polaris but this XP 1000 is not a good value for what it offers It is what it is and this is just simple math... You simply get so much more for so much less in a segue villain everybody do your research and you will see!.
Every Honda I've come across off road was stuck or broke down. Have never pulled out a polaris, can am or kawasaki. Couple of Yamahas but looked like rider error.
My 2024 XP 1000 is a nice machine but can't handle the noise this machine makes. Low range is worse. Over 90 decibels.Sounds like a coffee can with marbles rattling around. Way louder than my 2019 XP turbo dynamix. No help from Polaris.

Not a newer Talon compared to the RZR not a fair comparison. And the KRX is built a lot heavier duty. RZR is an awesome vehicle looks good, but no engine braking down hill though kind of a drawback in hill country. good looking unit over all.
